Yoga Inc, which ran yoga studios at SAFRA Punggol and Our Tampines Hub, has stopped operating. SAFRA's own website now carries a notice on the studio's page, and the company's booking and package pages have been taken down.

If you are holding unused class credits, the realistic route to your money is a card dispute with your bank, and the clock on that is set by your card issuer. We checked the CaseTrust register today and Yoga Inc is not on it, so there is no accredited prepayment protection behind those credits.
What we can confirm ourselves
We checked three things directly on 19 September 2026.
1. SAFRA has posted a notice. The Yoga Inc page on SAFRA's own site (safra.sg) carries this line at the top: "[NOTICE] Please be informed that Yoga Inc is closed till further notice due to operational issues." SAFRA Punggol is the landlord of that outlet, so this is the clearest official statement available to members right now.
2. The company's own site says nothing about closing. yogainc.sg is still online and still describes the business as having four studio locations. There is no closure notice, no refund notice and no contact instruction anywhere on it. What has gone is the machinery: the schedule page and the packages page both return a 404 error, so you cannot book a class or buy credits. Do not read the site's continued existence as a sign that classes are running.
3. Yoga Inc is not CaseTrust-accredited. We pulled the full CaseTrust accredited-business register today and read all 1,021 entries. Yoga Inc does not appear on it, at either address. The only yoga businesses on the register are Union Yoga Ayurveda at Chun Tin Road and Yoga Spa at Serangoon North Avenue 2, neither of which is connected to Yoga Inc.
That third point matters more than it sounds. CaseTrust accreditation for spa and wellness businesses is what buys customers a five-working-day cooling-off period and insurance protection over the unused balance of a prepaid package. Without it, there is no scheme standing behind your credits.
What has been reported
The following comes from news coverage rather than from our own checks, so we attribute it rather than state it flat.
- AsiaOne and The Straits Times report that management told staff on the night of 18 September 2026 that the company would cease operations with immediate effect, citing insufficient funds.
- AsiaOne reports that 32 instructors who are normally paid on the 15th of the month had not been paid, and that the matter was raised with the Ministry of Manpower.
- AsiaOne reports two earlier closures this year: Tanjong Pagar in June and Bedok in August, which left Punggol and Tampines as the last two studios.
- SAFRA Punggol posted its closure note on social media at about 2.40pm on 18 September. Reporters who visited the Our Tampines Hub studio at about 5.30pm that day found the lights off and the door locked, with no notice posted.
- AsiaOne reports that Yoga Inc Pte Ltd has been struck off the register according to ACRA's BizFile records. We were not able to verify that status independently, so check it yourself if it matters to a claim you are making: ACRA's BizFile portal at bizfile.gov.sg lets anyone search a company by name and see its status free of charge.
If you are holding unused credits
Move on the card dispute first, because that is the only route with a deadline you can miss.
Stop any recurring payment. If you set up a standing instruction, GIRO arrangement or recurring card charge, cancel it with your bank today rather than waiting to see what happens.
Gather your evidence now, while you still can. Save your receipt or bank statement line for the package, any booking confirmations, screenshots of your remaining credit balance in the app, and screenshots of the SAFRA notice. If your credits lived only inside a booking app, take the screenshots before the account stops loading.
Call your card issuer and ask about a dispute for services not received. This is the single most useful thing you can do. If you paid by credit or debit card, the card schemes have a chargeback process for services that were paid for and never delivered. Each bank sets its own rules and time limits, and those limits are generally counted from when the service was due rather than from when you paid, so do not assume an old purchase is out of scope. Ask the bank directly and ask in writing.
File a complaint with CASE. The Consumers Association of Singapore takes complaints about businesses that close with prepaid packages outstanding, at case.org.sg or on 6100 0315. CASE cannot compel a company with no money to pay, but a filed complaint is part of the record and CASE can advise on your position.
Ask the venue, but expect limits. SAFRA Punggol and Our Tampines Hub are landlords, not the operator. They can tell you the status of the space, and SAFRA has already posted a notice, but neither sold you the package and neither is responsible for refunding it.
Keep your expectations realistic. If the company has no funds, customers who paid in advance rank as ordinary unsecured creditors. That is the same position True Fitness and True Yoga members found themselves in earlier this month. This is general information and not legal or financial advice.
The lesson worth carrying to the next studio
Two fitness chains have now gone dark in Singapore in September 2026. The pattern is the same both times: a large prepaid balance, no protection scheme behind it, and members finding out from a notice rather than from the company.
Before you buy the next 10-class or 20-class pack, spend one minute on casetrust.case.org.sg, search the register for the studio, and check that the branch you actually attend is listed. Accreditation is granted per shopfront, not per brand, so a chain can be accredited at one outlet and not at another. Where a studio is not accredited, the safer habit is to buy smaller packs, pay by credit card rather than bank transfer or cash, and keep the receipt.
