Reformer Pilates is everywhere in Singapore now, and almost every studio sells a cheap first class. The trap is that the intro deals are not the same shape, and three of the numbers most guides still repeat are out of date. Absolute has raised its 2-class trial to $45 and replaced the $160 8-class pack with 9 classes for $179, and it is down to 5 studios after Millenia Walk vanished from its own navigation, footer, sitemap and schedule pages. Lab Studios' 5-day pass is still $49, but its own packages page caps you at one machine class a day, so it buys five reformer classes plus unlimited mat, not unlimited reformer. That is still the cheapest reformer in this guide at about $9.80 a class. And Made To Move's $80 private intro is $100 the moment you pick a Senior Instructor, which its own class pages recommend if you have a pre-existing condition. We priced all 8 studios off their own rate pages on 6 September 2026: trials, drop-ins, package floors and outlets, plus what a class costs once the intro runs out, from $38 to $73.
Reformer Pilates is everywhere in Singapore now, and almost every studio sells a cheap first class.
> Quick view: the cheapest reformer class here is about $9.80, on Lab Studios' $49 five-day pass, which allows one machine class a day. Cheapest single try: $28. Once the intro runs out, a group class costs $38 to $73.
Three numbers that moved since most guides last looked
- Absolute raised both trials and lost a studio. The 2-class Ultimate Pilates trial is now $45, up from $42, and the 8-class pack at $160 has been replaced by an 8+1 pack: 9 classes for $179, valid 7 weeks. Its drop-in fell from $59 to $55. Millenia Walk is gone from its navigation, footer, sitemap, and its schedule and packages pages, leaving five studios: The Centrepoint, i12 Katong, The Star Vista, Great World and 18 Robinson.
- Lab's "unlimited" is capped. Lab Studios' own packages page prints the rule in brackets: the 5-Day Unlimited All-Access trial at $49 (u.p. $79) gives you one machine class a day, plus unlimited mat classes. So it buys five reformer classes, not as many as the timetable allows. At about $9.80 a reformer class it is still the cheapest reformer on this list by a wide margin.
- Made To Move's $80 intro has a $20 gate. The promotions page prices the first-timer private intro at $80, or $100 for two as a duet, then adds that Senior Instructor rates apply, plus $20. Its own class pages recommend Senior Instructors for pre-existing conditions, so the reader most likely to book a private start pays $100.
Pilates trial class prices in Singapore, cheapest first
Every studio here sells a first class to new clients, but they are not the same shape, so the only fair way to line them up is cost per class. Sorted that way, the order is not the one the headline prices suggest.
| Pilates trial class | What you pay | Classes | Per class |
|---|
| Lab Studios 5-Day Unlimited All-Access | $49 | 5 reformer (1 machine class a day) + unlimited mat | about $9.80 |
| KX Pilates intro pack | $85 | 5 | $17 |
| Absolute 8+1-Class Trial | $179 | 9 | about $19.90 |
| Absolute 2-Class Trial | $45 | 2 | $22.50 |
| The Pilates Works trial group class | $28 | 1 | $28 |
| Focus Movement Reformer trial | $28 | 1 | $28, waived if you buy a package that day |
| Pilates Fitness 3-Class Trial | $99 | 3 | $33 |
| Made To Move private intro | $80, or $50 a head as a duet | 1 private | $80 solo, $50 each as a duet |
| Breathe Pilates private trial | $109 | 1 private + postural analysis | $109 |
Two things to read off that table. The cheapest single Pilates trial class in Singapore is $28, at The Pilates Works or Focus Movement, and Focus Movement effectively refunds it if you buy a package on the day. But the cheapest way to actually try Pilates properly is a multi-class pack: KX's $85 for 5 works out at $17 a class and Lab's $49 five-day pass at about $9.80, both far below any single trial. If you only want one class to see whether you like it, pay the $28. If you already suspect you will keep going, the multi-class intros are better value per class than any studio's regular rate.
The intro offers, side by side
- Cheapest per reformer class: Lab Studios, $49 for five days at one machine class a day, about $9.80 a class.
- Cheapest single try: The Pilates Works and Focus Movement at $28.
- Cheapest fixed pack: Absolute, 9 classes for $179, about $19.90 a class.
- Other multi-class starters: Absolute 2 classes $45, KX Pilates 5 classes $85, Pilates Fitness 3 classes $99.
- Clinical or one-to-one: Breathe Pilates $109 private trial with postural analysis; Made To Move $80 private intro, or $50 a head as a duet.
How much does Reformer Pilates cost in Singapore once the intro runs out
The intro is the cheap part, and it is the part most guides stop at. What decides your monthly spend is the regular price afterwards, and that varies far more than the intros do: the same 50 to 60 minutes on a reformer costs anywhere from $38 to $73 depending on the studio. Every figure below came off the studio's own rates page on 6 September 2026.
| Studio | Single group class | Cheapest per-class rate in a package |
|---|
| The Pilates Works | $38 | 30 classes $900, about $30 a class |
| Lab Studios | $45 reformer drop-in | 10 reformer classes $400, $40 a class |
| Absolute | $55 drop-in | 9-class first-timer trial $179, about $19.90 a class |
| Pilates Fitness | $65 | 25 classes $1,175, $47 a class |
| Breathe Pilates | $66 | 20 group sessions $1,069, about $53 a class |
| Made To Move | $73 (13 credits) | no standing pack price published |
| KX Pilates | not published online | 8 classes $316, about $39.50, valid 30 days only |
| Focus Movement | not published online | 20 classes $780, $39 a class |
Three things worth noticing. First, the cheapest trial and the cheapest ongoing price are not the same studio: Lab wins the trial at about $9.80 a class, but The Pilates Works is the one that stays cheapest afterwards at $38, dropping to about $30 in its 30-session pack. Second, packages are where the real discount lives: Pilates Fitness falls from $65 a class to $47 across its 25-class pack, Focus Movement's 20-class pack works out at $39 against $43 on its 5-class pack, and The Pilates Works falls from $38 to $30. If you know you will go twice a week, the bigger pack is usually cheaper than any monthly plan on offer. Third, Absolute's 9-class trial at about $19.90 a class undercuts every studio's regular rate here, including The Pilates Works' $38, so it is worth taking even if you plan to settle elsewhere.
Private one-to-one reformer sits in a different bracket. Breathe's $109 intro is the cheapest way in, after which a single private runs $136 at The Pilates Works, $150 at Pilates Fitness and $154 at Breathe. Breathe prices its privates by instructor level ($154 with an instructor, $178 with a Senior Instructor, $270 with an Instructor Trainer), so ask who is teaching before you book a package. Duet sessions split the difference at $88 a head at The Pilates Works, $102 at Breathe and $130 a head at Pilates Fitness.
*Two caveats. The Pilates Works notes that prices at its Holland studio exclude GST, which is added at payment. Made To Move's group classes need two people to start, or the booking converts to a private class at up to 40% off.*
Reformer Pilates near you, the studios by area
Reformer studios cluster in the centre, the east and the central-north, so start with what is actually reachable on a weeknight:
- North-east (Serangoon, Ang Mo Kio, Thomson): Pilates Fitness (Serangoon Gardens), Lab Studios (Serangoon Gardens, Thomson), The Pilates Works (Ang Mo Kio).
- East (Katong, Siglap, East Coast): KX Pilates Siglap, Absolute i12 Katong, Lab Studios East Coast, The Pilates Works Parkway, Breathe Pilates Katong Point.
- CBD (Raffles Place, Tanjong Pagar, Shenton Way): Focus Movement (22 Malacca Street), Absolute 18 Robinson, Lab Studios Stanley Street, Breathe Pilates 6 Raffles Quay.
- Orchard & central: Absolute The Centrepoint and Great World; Breathe Pilates The Heeren and United Square (Novena).
- West & Holland: The Pilates Works Jurong and Holland, Lab Studios Holland Village, Absolute The Star Vista.
- Bukit Timah: KX Pilates Bukit Timah and Made To Move.
What if none of them are in your town? Reformer studios have not spread evenly across the island, so a few well-populated areas still have no outlet from this list. Here is the nearest realistic option from each:
- Punggol, Sengkang, Hougang: nothing in town. Pilates Fitness and Lab Studios at Serangoon Gardens are the closest, both a short bus or drive from Serangoon MRT.
- Pasir Ris, Tampines, Bedok: no outlet in the far east either. Head down the East Coast to KX Pilates Siglap, The Pilates Works Parkway, Lab Studios East Coast or Absolute i12 Katong.
- Bishan, Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio: The Pilates Works Ang Mo Kio is the one in-area pick, with Lab Studios Thomson and Breathe Pilates United Square (Novena) close behind.
- Yishun, Sembawang, Woodlands: nothing in the far north. Ang Mo Kio and Serangoon Gardens are the realistic trips.
- Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Jurong: The Pilates Works Jurong is the only outlet on this list in the west, with Absolute The Star Vista at Buona Vista next nearest.
- Marina Centre and Suntec: this used to be Absolute Millenia Walk, which is no longer listed. Absolute 18 Robinson and Lab Studios Stanley Street are the nearest replacements.
Check the individual outlet's timetable before buying, since not every location runs the same class types. And if the nearest studio is a 40-minute trip, be honest about whether you will still be making it in week six.
How to pick the right one for you
- On a budget? If you can attend five days running, Lab Studios' $49 five-day pass is the cheapest reformer on the island at about $9.80 a class. If you cannot, take a $28 trial at The Pilates Works or Focus Movement.
- Want the most locations & timings? Absolute (5 studios) and Lab Studios (5) have the widest coverage and the most daily slots.
- Planning to stick with it? Compare the pack floor, not the trial: The Pilates Works at about $30 a class and Pilates Fitness at $47 are the cheapest places to keep going.
- Returning from injury, or pre/postnatal? Choose physio-led studios, Focus Movement or Breathe Pilates, or book a private intro so an instructor screens you first. At Made To Move, budget the extra $20 for a Senior Instructor.
- Prefer a dynamic, sweaty group vibe? KX Pilates runs energetic, fast-paced 50-minute classes.
- Want a small class? Pilates Fitness caps at around 10, KX at 12 to 15 machines, and Made To Move's reformer classes at 4.
Before you book
- Ask the class level. Start with Basics / Foundation / Essential / Beginner classes, not Express or Advanced.
- Check the class size. Smaller groups mean more form correction, which is worth it as a beginner.
- Check the validity window. Intro packs here run from 2 weeks (Absolute's 2-class trial) to 7 weeks (Absolute's 9-class), with Pilates Fitness at one month and KX's 8-class pack expiring in 30 days. Unused credits usually do not roll over.
- Read what the bracket says. Lab's five-day pass is one machine class a day. Made To Move's $80 intro is $100 with a Senior Instructor. Pilates Fitness caps its $189 bundle at 20 a month.
- Wear grippy socks. Many studios require them, and sell them at reception.
- Confirm the current price. Intro offers are usually one per new client and can change. Made To Move's intro is a private session, not a group class, so compare it against other studios' private rates rather than their group trials.
- Consistency beats intensity. Two manageable sessions a week you keep for months will do far more than an ambitious plan you drop, so pick the studio you will actually return to.
