10 Best Dance Classes for Adults in Singapore (2026): Trials From Free to $25

Converge is one of Singapore's biggest open-class studios, with 15 styles on the timetable: hip hop, street jazz, K-pop, jazz funk, jazz, popping, tap, girls' style, waacking, urban fusion, dancehall, locking, contemporary, house and heels. Complete beginners are pointed to its Basics-level classes. It is also the cheapest drop-in here: $17 a class at the counter ($18 online), 5 for $75, 10 for $140 and 20 for $260, and the 10-class pack stays valid for 9 months. Heavy users can take the Chiong Visa, unlimited classes for $250 a month, and students and NSFs get 5 classes for $55 at the counter. Prices include tax. There are two studios: 60A Orchard Road #B1-04, inside Dhoby Ghaut NEL station, and 55 Upper Serangoon Road #B1-02 at Potong Pasir station. The one catch: Converge says outright that it offers no trial classes or trial rates, so your first class is a normal $17 drop-in.

A single class is $19, 4 are $64 and 10 are $149, which works out to $14.90 a class, with every pack valid for 6 months. If you'd rather learn in a steady group, the 8-session Foundation Course is $220 and comes with 4 free open-class credits. There is no trial class, but the K-Kardio Starter Pack gives newcomers 2 credits for $26 (one per account, valid 3 months), usable only for the K-Kardio Dance and Jazz Funk 1 classes. Your first class costs $9.90 if you book online for partner Level 1 or any solo class ($14.90 at the studio), and trial students then get 20% off any package. Regular prices: $24.90 for a single class, $99.90 for the Discovery pack (4 classes plus 2 social nights, valid 2 months), $249.90 for Silver (12 classes plus 8 socials) and $199.90 a month for unlimited classes and socials on a 6-month minimum. En Motion at Cineleisure Orchard is one of the longest-running Latin dance schools in town, teaching salsa (romántica, moderna and Cuban), bachata (sensual, urban and moderna), Ladies Latin solo, jazz and lyrical contemporary. No partner is needed. Its trial offer takes a salsa or bachata class down to $12.90 from the usual $19.90, and a salsa-plus-bachata combo trial is $19.90; trial sessions are posted through 31 October 2026. Absolute beginners must start with Beginners 1, a fixed 10-week term for $220; the next term runs from 20 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, with classes on Tuesdays at 7pm, Saturdays at 10am and 12pm, and Sundays at 12pm. There is no trial, and missed Beginners 1 classes cannot be made up or refunded. Once you are past Beginners 1, you can drop in: a single class is $32.70, a 10-class card $261.60 and a 20-class card $479.60, each valid 6 months and sold only at the studio counter. M.A.D Collection fills three floors of 144 Robinson Road with pole (tricks and choreography, Foundation up to Pole 5), lyrical pole, pole heels, lyra, hammock, chair (ladies only), floorplay, reggaeton and flexibility classes. Foundation levels need no experience, and all genders are welcome. A 1-hour trial class is $15; it cannot be shared, refunded or rescheduled, and latecomers are turned away. After that, classes are sold as 8-week courses at $278 for the first course (each extra course in the same term is $178), or a 4-week mini term for $148. Drop-ins are $42 by WhatsApp. It also runs some of the better standing offers here: buy an 8-week Foundation course and bring a first-timer for free, refer a friend and you both get $30 credit, and full-time local tertiary students get 30% off 8-week courses. DF Academy (The Dance Family) teaches hip hop and K-pop as performance classes rather than drop-ins, so you join a fixed group that works towards a stage show, which suits people who want commitment and a crew. Levels run from Intro (no dance background) to Beginner and Crew. A one-time trial costs $25 for adults and $10 for tertiary students and NSFs; walk-ins aren't accepted, so book at least 5 working days ahead. After the trial, adult classes are $80 a month for 4 one-hour lessons of the same course. Its big advantage is location: studios at Westgate (Jurong East), Broadway Plaza (Ang Mo Kio), Thomson CC and Tampines Central CC, plus partner studios at 1Fiesta (Jurong) and Nee Soon Central CC, so you can dance near home instead of in town.

ZiggyFeet calls itself Singapore's only West Coast Swing studio: a smooth, relaxed partner dance done to pop, R&B and blues rather than Latin music, which makes it an easy fit for people who find salsa too fast.
