The catch that decides what you pay
Two pieces of fine print do all the work here, and neither made the listing sites.
1. It is member-only. Eu Yan Sang files this under a category it literally names "Weekend Crazy Deal (Member Only)", and every qualifying product tile carries "Login for EuRewards Members" beside the Buy 1 Get 1 Free label. Browse logged out and you simply see the usual price. EuRewards is free to join — just make sure you are signed in *before* you build the cart, and confirm the free item has applied at the cart stage.
2. "Free item will be the item of the lowest value." That asterisk sits right on the artwork, and it means your saving is capped at the cheaper of your two boxes:
- Two Traditional ($19.90 each) → pay $19.90 for $39.80 of goods — 50% off
- Two American Ginseng ($35.90 each) → pay $35.90 for $71.80 — 50% off
- Traditional + Ginkgo Biloba → pay $27.90 for $47.80 — save $19.90, 41.6%

You save real money either way. But only a matched pair gets you the headline half price — mixing tiers quietly hands back up to 14 percentage points.
