Gain City's 9.9 Super Sale takes 9.9% off with no minimum spend and no cap, stacks $9, $29 or $90 more off with promo codes, and throws in free mooncakes worth $88 at $1,599. It runs on Gain City's online store until 11.59pm on Sunday 20 September 2026, so there are six days left. The poster says storewide. We opened every one of the 167 products on Gain City's own 9.9 page on 15 September, and 69 of them do not get the 9.9%.

> Quick view: Gain City Online Store · to 11.59pm Sun 20 Sep 2026 · 9.9% off participating items, no min. spend, no cap · codes SALE9 ($9 off $500), SALE29 ($29 off $1,500), SALE90 ($90 off $3,000) · free $88 mooncake set at $1,599 · in store: NETS adds $10/$30/$60 · 98 of 167 products on the sale page show the 9.9%; LG, Samsung and Philips TVs there do not.

The offer

Gain City's 9.9 page and campaign posters set out four layers:

  • 9.9% off participating items, no minimum spend and no cap on the discount. It comes off in the cart; the product page says "Add to cart for 9.9% off" and "Promo: September 7, 2026 8:30 AM to September 20, 2026 11:59 PM".
  • Stackable codes on top: SALE9 takes $9 off a $500 spend, SALE29 $29 off $1,500 and SALE90 $90 off $3,000.
  • Free mooncake set worth $88 with a $1,599 spend on participating items, while stocks last.
  • In store only, the poster adds a NETS discount on each code tier ($10, $30 or $60 off) and says Child LifeSG Credits can be redeemed.

What the TVs on the sale page actually cost

These are the TVs on Gain City's 9.9 page that carry the 9.9% line, at the listed price on 15 September. The code column assumes the threshold is met after the 9.9%, which each of these clears.

The Sharp 43" is the neat one: if Gain City counts the $500 before the 9.9% comes off, SALE9 takes it under $500. Delivery is extra, and the cart may round a cent differently.

The 69 that don't take the 9.9%

"Storewide" on the poster, and a long exclusion list in the terms. On the sale page itself, these listings had no 9.9% line when we checked:

  • TVs: Philips 55" 55PUT7630 ($609) and 50" ($539), LG 50" UHD ($599), LG 65" UHD ($899), LG 65" QNED80 ($1,499) and Samsung 55" QLED ($2,199)
  • Aircons: Midea, Gree and Toshiba System 1 units, Fujitsu systems, Samsung System 3 and Mitsubishi Heavy units, plus the Europace portable and Eikou casement
  • Apple and phones: every AirPods and AirPods Max, Apple Pencil Pro, HomePod and the Samsung A57
  • Screens and sound: Samsung, Acer, Lenovo and LG monitors, Samsung and LG soundbars, the Epson projector
  • Home: Simmons and Dunlopillo mattresses, most sofas and the dining set, Electrolux and Europace heat pump dryers, Samsung fridges

The terms and the pages do not always agree. Dyson is on the excluded small-appliance list, yet the Dyson Hushjet purifier ($499) and Tower Fan ($399) both show the 9.9% line, while the Dyson V12 vacuum and Supersonic Travel dryer do not. The product page and the cart are the final word.

Among the 98 that do: Bosch, LG, Sharp and Hisense washers, LG, Hisense, Toshiba and Europace fridges, Panasonic, Toshiba, Mitsubishi Electric, Hitachi, Haier and Eikou system aircons, the DeLonghi ECAM290.81 ($1,499), Ninja air fryers, DJI drones and gimbals, and King Koil, MaxCoil and Sleepynight mattresses.

Fine print

  • Ends 11.59pm Sunday 20 September 2026. It opened at 8.30am on 7 September.
  • Online store terms. The terms say the promotion is valid exclusively on the Gain City Online Store and not at the Lenovo Exclusive Store. The NETS extras on the poster are marked in-store exclusive.
  • Not on everything. Pre-orders, discontinued and newly launched models and limited-quantity advertised items are excluded, and the promotion does not combine with other ongoing promotions.
  • Mooncakes are while stocks last, and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Delivery is charged at standard rates per transaction.
  • Gain City says its terms were correct as of 4 September and may change without notice.

Tips

  • Check the product page first. No "Add to cart for 9.9% off" line means no 9.9%, whatever the banner says.
  • Clear the threshold with room to spare. The terms don't say whether $500, $1,500, $3,000 and $1,599 are counted before or after the 9.9%. On 9.9% items alone, about $555, $1,665, $3,330 and $1,775 before discount clears every tier either way.
  • Buying $3,000 or more in store? NETS adds $60 on top of SALE90's $90. Ask the counter to confirm the 9.9% and code prices first, since the written terms cover the online store.
  • Have Child LifeSG Credits? The poster says Gain City accepts them. Here is what the credits cover.
