Harvey Norman has put an "Unhealthy Air Quality Alert" banner across its air purifier range, running 4 to 30 September 2026. The poster promises up to 60% off plus an additional 5% off selected models from participating brands, and parks a "Climate Vouchers Accepted Here, redeem up to $400" badge in the top right corner.
We loaded all 22 models on the campaign page on the evening of 8 September and put three of them through the cart. Two of the three headline claims hold up. The third one does not mean what the badge implies.

The extra 5% is real, and it needs no code
This is the part that is easy to miss, because the campaign page never shows it. The 5% comes off after the item is in the cart, and the cart names the promotion in full: "Air Purifier Campaign Deals ( 4 - 30 Sept 26) - SE3 ATC 5% off!". We confirmed it on three units:

The Dyson is the instructive one. It shows no was-price at all on the campaign page, so the automatic 5% is the entire discount it carries. Three other models are in the same position: the Novita A2 at $498, the Novita A5 Twin Pack with extra filter at $814 and the Karcher AF 50 at $608 all sit on a sale page with nothing marked down.
"Up to 60%" is true of two models
Exactly two of the 22 reach the headline number, and both are the cheap end of the range:
- Cornell CAPS01WH Air Zen, white: $159, down from $399. That is 60% on the page and $151.05 in the cart, or 62% off list. The cheapest thing on the campaign.
- Electrolux EP32-25WBA UltimateHome 300: $164.80, down from $409, so $156.56 in cart.
The biggest dollar saving is elsewhere: the Novita A18i at $458 from $899 is a $441 cut, and the Novita PuriClean A11I at $228 from $469 saves $241. Both were flagged out of stock online when we checked.
At the other end of the same page, two Philips units are barely discounted at all. The AC-0650/10 is $168 from $178, a $10 cut, and the Mono AC3220/10 is $568 from $599, a $31 cut. Both are about 5% off, which is roughly what the automatic cart discount would have given them anyway.
The Climate Voucher badge does not cover air purifiers
The poster's "redeem up to $400 Climate Voucher" badge is the line worth reading twice. It tells you Harvey Norman is a participating retailer. It does not tell you these products qualify, and they mostly do not.
The Climate Friendly Households Programme publishes 12 eligible product categories, last updated 13 July 2026: air-conditioners, basin taps and mixers, clothes dryers, DC fans, induction stoves, LED lights, refrigerators, shower fittings, sink and bib taps and mixers, water heaters, washing machines and water closets. Air purifiers are not on that list.
We checked every one of the 22 campaign listings. Exactly one carries an "eligible to apply for Climate Voucher" line in Harvey Norman's own cart: the Dyson SP01 HUSHJET at $499. It qualifies because it is a purifying fan, and DC fans are one of the twelve. If the voucher is what brought you to the sale, that is the only listing on the page that will take it.
Seven of 22 were out of stock online
As at the evening of 8 September, these were flagged out of stock on the website: Mistral MAPF03 ($149.90), Novita A2 + H ($598), Novita A6 ($498), Novita A18i ($458), Novita PuriClean A11I ($228), Blueair Mini Max ($239) and the Blueair Mini Max 2-pack ($398). Every one still offers a "Find in Store" option, so branch stock can differ from what the website shows across the 11 stores.
Harvey Norman's own terms are blunt about this: promotions are limited and subject to stock availability, and if you place an order for something that turns out to be unavailable, it can cancel the order and refund you within 14 working days of purchase.
The fine print
- Dates: the promotions on this page are only available 4 to 30 September 2026.
- Free delivery needs a minimum spend of $200. Every model in the cheap tier misses that on its own, and the 5% pushes a borderline basket further down, so keep the cart comfortably above $200 if free delivery is the plan.
- The 5% is described as applying to "selected models from participating brands", so it is not promised on all 22. It applied on all three we tested.
- Pictures on the campaign page may not be an exact representation of the product, per Harvey Norman's terms.
- Interest-free monthly instalments are offered on the product pages, with a 0.75% monthly processing fee on the 8 and 12-instalment options.
Worth knowing before you buy anything
The reason this sale exists is on the poster. NEA's 24-hour PSI at 8pm on 8 September read 64 in the north, 69 in the south, 71 in the east, 73 in the west and 78 in central, which is the Moderate band (51 to 100) across the whole island. That is the band where a purifier is a comfort purchase rather than an urgent one, which is exactly the moment to be picky about price rather than grabbing whatever is in stock.
If you are buying your first unit, room size and CADR matter more than the discount percentage, and a $151 machine sized for a bedroom will beat a $568 one you put in the wrong room.
