If there is a pot of Arla Protein Salted Caramel Flavour Pudding in your fridge, check the date before you eat it. On 26 October 2026, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) said it has directed the importer, Trade-Pro Food Distribution Pte Ltd, to recall the product because of the potential presence of glass fragments.
> Quick view: Affected: Arla Protein Salted Caramel Flavour Pudding (200g), Best Before 28.04.2027, origin Denmark. Do not eat it. Contact the shop you bought it from. If you ate some and are worried about your health, see a doctor. The recall is ongoing.

What SFA announced
SFA's notice has four parts:
- Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) issued a notification on the recall of this pudding because of possible glass fragments.
- As a precautionary measure, SFA directed the importer, Trade-Pro Food Distribution Pte Ltd, to recall the implicated product. The recall is ongoing.
- Under the Sale of Food Act, food known to be unsafe for consumption should not be sold.
- Consumers who bought the product should not consume it, those who ate it and have health concerns should seek medical attention, and anyone with questions should contact their point of purchase.
The exact product to look for
| Detail | What SFA lists |
|---|---|
| Product | Arla Protein Salted Caramel Flavour Pudding |
| Size | 200g |
| Best Before | 28.04.2027 |
| Origin | Denmark |
| Importer | Trade-Pro Food Distribution Pte Ltd |
The best before date is the part that matters. It is printed on the pot, usually on the foil lid or the rim. A salted caramel pot with a different best before date is not part of this recall.
What to do if you have one
- Do not eat it, and do not give it to anyone else. Glass fragments can cause injury.
- Keep the pot and your receipt. If you bought online, keep the order record in the app.
- Contact the shop you bought it from. That is SFA's own advice. In Australia, the distributor is giving a full refund at the place of purchase, but SFA's notice does not describe a refund scheme for Singapore, so ask the retailer.
- Already ate some and feel unwell, or worried? See a doctor and mention the recall.
Where it was sold here
SFA's notice does not list retailers. FairPrice sells Arla Protein Pudding Salted Caramel 200g online (listed at S$3.80 when we checked on 26 October 2026), so FairPrice shoppers should check any pots at home. The listing itself does not tell you which best before date a pot carries, so go by the date printed on the pot in your hand.
Why Australia's recall is wider
FSANZ published its alert on 24 October 2026. Arla Foods Mayer Australia recalled two puddings for foreign matter (glass): the salted caramel flavour (Best Before 28/04/2027, sold at Costco in NSW) and the chocolate flavour (Best Before 09/05/2027, sold at Coles in NSW and QLD and at independent grocers including IGA and Supabarn in NSW and the ACT).
Singapore's recall names only the salted caramel pudding with the 28.04.2027 date. The chocolate pudding is not in SFA's notice. If SFA widens the recall, its notice will be updated, and we will update this article.
The bottom line
One flavour, one date. If your Arla Protein Salted Caramel pot says Best Before 28.04.2027, do not eat it and take it up with the shop. Everything else on the shelf from Arla Protein is not affected by this recall.
