Singapore's dental scene is mature and competitive, and prices vary several-fold between mass-market chains and premium specialists. The right pick for you depends on (1) what procedure you need, (2) whether continuity of care matters, and (3) how much you're willing to pay for shorter wait times and senior specialist hands.
We compared 5 trusted Singapore dental clinics — from the largest national chain to a 53-year-old heritage practice and the specialist and aesthetic tiers. Prices change frequently; always confirm a quote in writing before treatment.
What each clinic actually publishes
Most Singapore dental practices don't put fees online, which makes the ones that do a useful reference point:
| Clinic | Published fees | Quoted after consultation |
|---|---|---|
| Q&M Dental Group | Scaling + polishing with intra-oral 3D scan S$109; kids' scaling + polishing S$88 nett; take-home whitening S$388 | Fillings, surgery, orthodontics |
| Specialist Dental Group | Consultation + examination from S$80; full-mouth x-ray S$160; adult scaling + polishing S$250–320 | Implants, orthodontics, cosmetic work |
| TP Dental Surgeons | — | All treatment |
| Novena Dental | — | All treatment |
| Orchard Scotts Dental | — | All treatment (flexi-payment plans available) |
Q&M's published rates are promotional, so confirm they still apply when you book. The gap between S$109 and S$250–320 for the same scaling-and-polishing visit is the clearest illustration of what tier actually costs you in Singapore.
Before you book: Medisave and CHAS
Two things decide what you actually pay out of pocket. Medisave covers surgical dental procedures only — surgical wisdom tooth removal, implants and certain reconstructive work — never routine scaling, fillings or root canal, and the claimable amount depends on which band your case falls under in MOH's Table of Surgical Procedures. CHAS was expanded on 1 October 2025 to cover 17 dental procedures at participating clinics, with scaling subsidised up to S$40 (Pioneer), S$35 (Merdeka), S$30 (Blue) and S$20 (Orange) per claim. Ask about both at the consultation, not after treatment.
