Some clinics quote PER EYE, others quote BOTH EYES; some show prices before GST, others after. Quote a $1,940 headline against a $4,588 one and you are often comparing the same procedure. We pulled the published fee pages of 7 Singapore eye clinics and put every price on the same footing, with the basis spelled out for each: SNEC from S$1,940.20 per eye (GST included), Eagle Eye from $2,072.50 per eye before tax, Clearvision at $4,588 for both eyes all-in, LSC bladeless LASIK at $3,510 both eyes, and Atlas Eye from $3,535 both eyes with two years of enhancement built in. Every figure below comes from the clinic's own website, not a third-party blog.

The public option, and on a like-for-like basis the cheapest verified price in Singapore. SNEC publishes bladeless LASIK at S$1,940.20 PER EYE with a Named Consultant and S$2,049.20 with a Named Senior Consultant, and ZEISS SMILE Pro at S$2,594.20 / S$2,812.20 per eye, all with 9% GST already included. Doubled for both eyes that is roughly S$3,880-S$4,098 for LASIK and S$5,188-S$5,624 for SMILE Pro, which puts it in the same territory as the private clinics rather than dramatically below them. What genuinely stands out is the disclosure: SNEC states the fee includes the first-day, first-week and first-month post-operative consultations (valid 2 months from surgery) and enhancement within 1 year, inclusions most private fee pages simply do not itemise. LASIK suitability assessment from S$114.45; pre-operative consultation S$163.06-S$210.92 depending on seniority. TWO IMPORTANT CAVEATS: SNEC re-stamped every refractive fee page correct as of 24 August 2026, so these are the freshest published figures on this list; and they apply to Singapore Citizens, PRs and Work Permit holders only. Employment Pass holders and other foreigners pay a surcharge. BEST FOR: anyone who wants institutional scale, subsidised-tier pricing and clearly stated inclusions.

The lowest published private per-eye figures we found, but read the basis carefully: Eagle Eye Centre's fee table is headed Typical Cost Before Tax, so GST is NOT included. Femto-bladeless LASIK from $2,072.50 per eye, Epi-LASIK/PRK from $1,555 per eye, SMILE from $2,400 per eye, and ICL from $2,937 per eye for low dioptres. Corneal collagen cross-linking from $550. The fees page does not itemise what the surgery fee includes, so budget separately for reviews and medication. Repeat consultations are $135 onwards. They run a $19 LASIK evaluation (a separate full pre-LASIK assessment is $132), plus screening offers including glaucoma at $96 and cataract at $58, none of which carry published end dates. Interest-free instalments are a real strength: 0% over 3 months with OCBC, or 6 and 12 months across DBS, POSB, UOB, American Express, OCBC and Diners Club, with no minimum treatment cost, subject to bank approval. Eight clinics islandwide including Mt Alvernia, Mt Elizabeth Novena, Mt Elizabeth Orchard, Parkway East, Royal Square Novena, KAP Residences Mall, HMI Medical Centre and Ang Mo Kio. BEST FOR: the lowest entry price and the widest choice of locations. Just add 9% GST mentally to every figure.

One of the few clinics that publishes GST-exclusive AND GST-inclusive columns side by side, which makes its fee page unusually easy to read. iLASIK/Epi-LASIK is $1,688 before GST or $1,840 with GST, PER EYE; ZEISS SMILE Pro 2.0 is $2,600 before GST or $2,834 with GST, per eye. LASIK Xtra cross-linking adds $654 with GST per eye. ICL is the exception and is quoted for BOTH eyes at $7,848-$10,355 with GST, depending on the degree of myopia. Pre-LASIK or pre-SMILE Pro screening is $215 with GST, and their screening packages are noted as first-time patients only, once per patient. Inclusions for the surgical fees are not stated, so assume reviews and medication are extra. ONE HONEST FLAG: their fees page still displays a cataract screening package marked valid up to 31 January 2025, which expired around 18 months ago and was never removed. Atlas Eye takes the unusual approach of quoting the same headline for three different procedures: Advanced Surface Ablation (Wavefront PRK/Epi-LASIK/LASEK/TransPRK), Wavefront bladeless LASIK and ReLEx SMILE are all listed From $3,535 for BOTH eyes with GST included, so the choice of technique is driven by your corneas rather than your wallet. Collagen cross-linking XTRA for both eyes is $1,225; ICL is From $3,600 per eye and refractive lens exchange From $7,000 per eye. The standout inclusion is enhancement surgery for 2 years from the date of first surgery, a genuine hedge against regression, and the second-longest window here after Shinagawa's stated 3 years. Extras are clearly stated: every post-op review is $158, and the first medication set is $137 for surface ablation or $109 for LASIK/ReLEx SMILE. Enhancement surgery included for 2 years from date of first surgery
The most granular published fee list of the group, all quoted for BOTH eyes with GST included. Bladeless LASIK is $3,510 and customised/topography-guided LASIK is $4,098; Advanced Surface Ablation (PRK/LASEK/Epi-LASIK/TransPRK) is $3,815; ZEISS SMILE pro 2.0 is $5,655; and ZEISS PRESBYOND, for reading vision, is $6,061. LASIK Xtra cross-linking as an add-on is $1,308 for two eyes. Screening is priced separately and transparently: initial consultation $163.50, follow-up $119-$163.50, extended consultation $272.50, eye test only $54.50. Post-surgery reviews are from $119.90 per session, medication is $98 for SMILE/LASIK or $196 for surface ablation, and enhancement within 24 months is $545 per session, cheaper than most but not free, so factor it in. A Japanese-founded chain at The Centrepoint on Orchard Road, with a simple two-line laser price list for BOTH eyes: Advanced Surface Ablation (Wavefront PRK/Epi-LASIK/LASEK/TransPRK) at $3,688 and Femto LASIK bladeless at $3,888. Two caveats that matter more here than anywhere else on this list. FIRST, these prices EXCLUDE GST, so add 9% to compare against Clearvision, LSC, Atlas, SNEC or APEC, which turns $3,888 into roughly $4,238. SECOND, the fee page is marked as last updated October 2024, making it the oldest pricing we found on any Singapore eye clinic site, so treat both figures as indicative and confirm current rates by phone before you plan around them. The package covers surgery for 2 eyes and 1 post-operative review; subsequent reviews are $110 each and the first medication set is $85.60. One genuine upside that is easy to miss: the same footnote states enhancement surgery within 3 years from the date of first surgery, the longest enhancement window of any clinic on this list, ahead of Atlas Eye's 2 years and SNEC's 1 year. The highest headline prices on this list, and also the only one where the fee page tells you in full what the money buys, which changes the comparison entirely. SMILE Pro 2.0 is $5,388 and Femto-LASIK, TransPRK and Epi-LASIK are each $4,588, all for BOTH eyes, and every package explicitly covers surgery fees, facility fees, the first set of medications, the first week of follow-ups, one pair of UV-protected sunglasses and 9% GST. Once you add a private clinic's separate review fees, medication and facility charges to a cheaper headline, the gap narrows a lot. ICL is tiered by severity: $6,888 for low myopia/astigmatism, $8,388 moderate, $9,888 high, with anaesthesia and lens charges included. LASIK suitability evaluation is $55 and ICL evaluation $163.50; enhancement surgery is $1,830 per eye and corneal cross-linking $642 for one eye or $1,284 for both. The cheapest verified laser eye surgery cost in Singapore is SNEC's, at S$1,940.20 per eye, about S$3,880 for both eyes with GST already included. That rate applies only to Citizens, PRs and Work Permit holders, and Employment Pass holders pay a surcharge.
Then add the extras, because the surgery fee is rarely the whole price: a suitability assessment of $19 – $215 before you commit, post-op reviews of $110 – $158 each, and a first medication set of $85.60 – $196. Realistically, add $300 – $600 to any headline figure unless the clinic bundles those in.

Cheapest on this table is not always cheapest in practice. LSC's S$3,510 excludes medication ($98) and every review after the first (from $119.90 each); Clearvision's S$4,588 already contains the first week of follow-ups, the first medication set and sunglasses. And if you count the surgery alone, SNEC is cheaper than all of them: S$1,940.20 per eye, roughly S$3,880 for both, with the first month of reviews and a year of enhancement included, provided you are a Citizen, PR or Work Permit holder.
SMILE Pro is the flapless, small-incision alternative to LASIK, and it is the dearest of the mainstream laser options. Six of the seven clinics here publish a price for it:

Two things stand out. Atlas Eye is the outlier, listing ReLEx SMILE at the same From $3,535 as its LASIK and its surface ablation, around S$1,600 below every other SMILE price here, so at that clinic the technique is chosen on your corneas rather than your budget. And everywhere else, SMILE Pro costs roughly S$1,300 – S$2,100 more than bladeless LASIK at the same clinic: LSC charges S$3,510 for bladeless LASIK against S$5,655 for SMILE pro 2.0, and Clearvision S$4,588 against S$5,388. If your surgeon says both techniques suit you equally well, that gap is the real decision.
SNEC is the only centre here that publishes a separate fee page for each procedure, and it re-stamped all of them correct as of 24 August 2026. Every figure below is per eye with 9% GST included, and applies to Singapore Citizens, PRs and Work Permit holders. Employment Pass holders and other foreigners pay a surcharge.

Two things this table settles. Surface ablation is not automatically the cheap option: SNEC's LASEK and TransPRK are S$2,289 per eye, about S$350 more than its own bladeless LASIK, because the laser time and the healing course are longer. And ICL is the one to read twice: at S$6,386 – S$7,664 per eye it works out to roughly S$12,800 – S$15,300 for both eyes, well above the S$6,888 – S$10,355 both-eyes ICL packages at Clearvision and Asia Pacific Eye Centre. Anyone comparing an ICL quote needs the per-eye-or-both-eyes question answered even more urgently than a LASIK one.
A package that looks $500 dearer up front can end up cheaper once reviews, medication and a possible enhancement are counted. Clearvision bundles the most; Shinagawa gives the longest enhancement window at 3 years, ahead of Atlas Eye's 2 years; SNEC is the only one that states its inclusions plainly on a public fee page.

Second, the surgery fee is rarely the total: a suitability assessment costs $19 to $215 before you commit, post-operative reviews are $110 to $158 each, and the first medication set is $85.60 to $196, so add roughly $300 to $600 to any headline unless the clinic bundles them in.
Most of the apparent gap is a units problem, not a value problem. Public and larger private centres (SNEC, Eagle Eye Centre and Asia Pacific Eye Centre) publish their laser fees PER EYE, while Clearvision, LSC Eye Clinic, Atlas Eye and Shinagawa publish theirs for BOTH EYES. So SNEC's S$1,940.20 bladeless LASIK is roughly S$3,880 once you double it, which lands right next to LSC's S$3,510 and Atlas Eye's S$3,535 for both eyes. On top of that, Eagle Eye Centre and Shinagawa quote BEFORE GST while SNEC, APEC, Clearvision, LSC and Atlas quote with GST already included, worth another 9%. The third variable is what the fee actually buys: Clearvision explicitly bundles surgery, facility fees, first medications, the first week of follow-ups, sunglasses and GST; Atlas Eye includes two years of enhancement surgery; SNEC includes the first month of reviews plus enhancement within a year. Eagle Eye Centre and Asia Pacific Eye Centre do not itemise inclusions on their fee pages, so reviews and medication are likely extra. When you compare quotes, normalise all three axes (eyes, tax, and inclusions) before deciding anything is cheap.
Generally no. LASIK and other laser vision correction procedures are treated as elective refractive surgery, so they are not claimable under MediShield Life or most Integrated Shield plans, and LSC Eye Clinic states plainly on its fee page that LASIK is not MediSave or insurance eligible. There are narrow medical exceptions: Nova Eye Centre notes Medisave may apply where there is anisometropia greater than 3 dioptres, or where surgery is correcting the effects of previous eye surgery, and Atlas Eye indicates Medisave claims are available for eligible procedures, which in practice means medically indicated cases rather than routine myopia correction. Do not assume you qualify; ask the clinic to confirm against your specific diagnosis before you budget for it. What IS widely available is interest-free instalments: Eagle Eye Centre offers 0% over 3 months (OCBC), 6 or 12 months across DBS, POSB, UOB, American Express, OCBC and Diners Club; LSC Eye Clinic offers up to 12 months via UOB, OCBC, DBS and POSB; Clearvision publishes worked examples from $382/month over 12 months for TransPRK; and Nova Eye Centre offers 6 or 12 months for DBS cardholders. Four line items catch people out. FIRST, the suitability assessment, which is charged before you commit and is not always refundable against surgery: Clearvision charges $55 for LASIK suitability and $163.50 for ICL, LSC Eye Clinic charges $163.50 for an initial consultation, Asia Pacific Eye Centre charges $215 with GST for pre-LASIK screening, Eagle Eye Centre runs a $19 LASIK evaluation with a separate $132 pre-LASIK assessment, and SNEC charges from S$114.45. SECOND, post-operative reviews: Shinagawa charges $110 per subsequent review, Atlas Eye $158, Eagle Eye's repeat consultations are $135 onwards, and LSC Eye Clinic charges from $119.90 per session, and over several months that adds up. THIRD, medication, which is often excluded: LSC charges $98 for SMILE/LASIK meds or $196 for surface ablation, Atlas Eye $137 for surface ablation and $109 for LASIK/SMILE, Shinagawa $85.60 for the first set. Quoted for both eyes with GST in, Clearvision charges $5,388 for SMILE Pro 2.0 as an all-in package, and LSC Eye Clinic $5,655 for ZEISS SMILE pro 2.0. Doubling the per-eye clinics puts most of the market between roughly S$5,188 and S$5,668 for both eyes. The one genuine outlier is Atlas Eye, which lists ReLEx SMILE From $3,535 for both eyes, the same headline as its bladeless LASIK and its surface ablation, roughly S$1,600 below every other SMILE price here. Everywhere else, expect SMILE Pro to cost about S$1,300 to S$2,100 more than bladeless LASIK at the same clinic: LSC is S$3,510 for bladeless LASIK against S$5,655 for SMILE pro 2.0, and Clearvision S$4,588 against S$5,388. Price should be the last filter, not the first. Laser vision correction is irreversible surgery on a healthy organ, so the things that matter most are whether you are actually a suitable candidate (corneal thickness, prescription stability, dry eye, pupil size and corneal shape all rule people out) and the experience of the specific surgeon operating on you, not the clinic's brand. A proper suitability assessment should include corneal topography and pachymetry, a dilated examination and a real conversation about your realistic outcome and risks, including night glare, dry eye and the possibility of needing an enhancement later. Be wary of any clinic that quotes you a firm price before assessing your eyes, and note that a headline price is usually a FROM price: Eagle Eye Centre, Atlas Eye, Lang Eye Centre and JL Eye Specialists all publish theirs as from figures, meaning your prescription may put you in a higher band. It is also reasonable to get a second opinion. The assessment fee at a second clinic is small next to the cost of an operation you were not ideally suited for.
