If you have spent an evening comparing LASIK quotes in Singapore, you have probably seen figures from under $2,000 to nearly $6,000 and concluded the market is chaotic. It mostly is not. Once you normalise how each clinic quotes, most laser vision correction in Singapore lands between roughly S$3,500 and S$5,700 for both eyes.
The three things that make prices look incomparable
- Per eye vs both eyes. SNEC, Eagle Eye Centre and Asia Pacific Eye Centre publish per eye. Clearvision, LSC Eye Clinic, Atlas Eye and Shinagawa publish for both eyes. This alone is a 2x distortion.
- Before or after GST. Eagle Eye Centre and Shinagawa quote before tax; SNEC, APEC, Clearvision, LSC and Atlas quote GST-inclusive. That is another 9%.
- What the fee actually includes. Reviews, medication and enhancement surgery are charged separately at most private clinics — and those extras can total several hundred dollars.
Same procedure, put on the same footing
| Clinic | LASIK, both eyes, est. incl. GST | How they publish it |
|---|---|---|
| SNEC | ~S$3,880 – S$4,098 | Per eye, incl. GST |
| Eagle Eye Centre | ~S$4,518 (from) | Per eye, before GST |
| Asia Pacific Eye Centre | ~S$3,680 | Per eye, incl. GST |
| LSC Eye Clinic | S$3,510 | Both eyes, incl. GST |
| Atlas Eye | S$3,535 (from) | Both eyes, incl. GST |
| Shinagawa | ~S$4,238 | Both eyes, before GST |
| Clearvision | S$4,588 | Both eyes, incl. GST |
*Estimates double the per-eye figures and add 9% GST where a clinic quotes before tax. They are for comparison only — always confirm the actual quote for your prescription.*
The extras worth pricing in
- Suitability assessment: $19 (Eagle Eye evaluation) to $215 (APEC pre-LASIK screening), usually paid before you commit.
- Post-op reviews: roughly $110 – $158 each, and you will have several.
- First medication set: $85.60 – $196 depending on procedure and clinic.
- Enhancement surgery: included for 2 years at Atlas Eye and 1 year at SNEC, but $545 per session at LSC and $1,830 per eye at Clearvision.
A package that looks $500 dearer up front can end up cheaper once reviews, medication and a possible enhancement are counted. Clearvision bundles the most; Atlas Eye gives the longest enhancement window; SNEC is the only one that states its inclusions plainly on a public fee page.
Before you book
- Ask for the basis in writing — per eye or both eyes, and whether GST is included.
- Treat headline prices as FROM prices. A higher prescription can move you into a higher band at Eagle Eye Centre, Atlas Eye and others.
- Check the date on the fee page. Shinagawa's is dated October 2024, and Asia Pacific Eye Centre's still shows a package that expired in January 2025.
- LASIK is generally not MediSave or insurance claimable — LSC Eye Clinic says so outright. Narrow medical exceptions exist; ask about your specific diagnosis.
- Choose on suitability and surgeon, not price. Corneal thickness, prescription stability and dry eye rule many people out, and this is irreversible surgery on a healthy organ.
