We priced eight blender brands on their own Singapore stores and at Metro on 2 November: a Ninja Auto-iQ personal blender is $139, Tefal's Dynamix Cook heating blender is $199 at Metro (U.P. $459), a NutriBullet 600 is $129, and the cheapest decent pick is Mayer's $49.90 bottle blender.
Smoothies, soy milk, sambal or soup: the right blender depends on which one you make most.
> Quick view: cheapest is Mayer's 600ml at $49.90; most good blenders run $99-$329. Best buy is Tefal's Dynamix Cook at $199 on Metro (U.P. $459), and only Vitamix crosses $2,000.
How to choose a blender
- Personal, jug or heating? A personal blender (Ninja Auto-iQ, NutriBullet, Mayer) makes one drink in the cup you carry out. A jug blender (Panasonic, Philips) makes family batches and, with a dry mill, grinds spices. A heating blender (Tefal Dynamix Cook, Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot, Toyomi BLC 9203) cooks soy milk, porridge and soup in the jug, so it replaces a soy milk maker.
- Watts matter for nuts and ice. 350W-600W is enough for fruit and protein shakes. For nut butter, frozen fruit and fibrous greens, look at 900W and above. Vitamix-class machines also blend hot soup by friction.
- Glass or plastic. Glass jugs (Panasonic MX-MG53, Toyomi, Tefal heating models) do not scratch or hold smells, which matters if you grind chilli or blend sambal. Tritan plastic is lighter and safer for portable cups.
- Compare Metro against the brand. On 2 November the Tefal Dynamix Cook was $229 on Tefal's store and $199 at Metro. NutriBullet and Vitamix have no Singapore web store of their own, so a department store or electrical retailer is where you buy them.
- Watch the 11.11 sales. 11.11 falls on Wednesday 11 November, and several of these brands cut prices on their own stores for the big sale days. Our year-end sales calendar has every date.
How we checked
Prices were read on 2 November 2026 from each brand's own Singapore store (sharkninja.sg, tefal.com.sg, toyomi.com.sg and mayer.sg product listings) and from Metro's online store for NutriBullet, Philips, Panasonic, Vitamix and the Tefal Dynamix Cook. NutriBullet's Singapore site (nutribullet.sg) lists products without prices, Vitamix has no Singapore store of its own, and Philips' Singapore appliance site did not show prices when we checked. Prices include GST and change often, so confirm at checkout. We left out Breville and Kenwood blenders because we could not find a current Singapore price on a first-party or major retailer page.
