Most "best movers" lists in Singapore quote ballparks nobody published. We went to each company's own site in early September 2026 and took the numbers they print. Tip Top Movers is the only mover here with a full rate card: from S$188 a half lorry load, S$300 a full 15ft lorry, S$69 to S$118 for a single item, packing from S$8 a box. CYC Movers' own FAQ puts a Singapore move at roughly S$300+ for an HDB flat and S$800+ for a condo. On the storage side StorHub's live booking screens were showing lockers from S$41.02 a month and small units from S$84.30, Extra Space Asia has 30% off until 30 November 2026 if you prepay 3 to 12 months, and Lock+Store is running three separate branch deals to end September, the best being 50% off at One North and at Tanjong Pagar on a three-month minimum. Four of these companies will handle the move and the storage on one contract, which is the part that decides who pays when something breaks.
Which movers in Singapore offer storage options as well, and on one contract?
This is the question that decides who pays when something breaks, and it is why four movers sit on a list with three storage operators.

Split packing across a mover and storage across a separate operator and a damage claim becomes an argument, with each side pointing at the other. Keep both on one contract and one company stays accountable end to end. The question to put to a mover, in these words: "do you handle packing, storage and delivery as one contract, and does the insurance run for the whole period?"
What that convenience costs. Tip Top is the only company here that prices both halves, which makes it the one honest comparison available. Its storage starts at S$168 a month for a half load and S$285 for a full 15ft truck load, with 10% off at three months, 15% at six and 20% at a year. A StorHub XS unit, under 32 sq ft, was listing from S$84.30 a month at Jurong East on the same day. Roughly double, in other words. For a few weeks between homes that premium usually pays for itself; over a six-month renovation it compounds every month, and self-storage plus a separate move wins on cost if you will carry the handover risk.

Only two movers here put numbers in public, and they broadly agree with each other.

The condo figure is the one worth sitting with. CYC, on its own site, puts a condo move at nearly triple an HDB one, and the reasons are lift bookings, loading bay time windows and longer carries rather than the volume of your furniture. If you are moving into a condo and a quote arrives at HDB prices, ask what happens if the loading bay slot overruns.
Every quote above is a floor, not a price. Volume, crew size, floor level, lift access, carry distance and specialist items (piano, safe, antiques, gym equipment) all move the final figure, which is why the photo, video or on-site survey step exists. Take it.
Storage prices are set by branch, not by brand
StorHub is the only operator of the three that shows live rates before you speak to anyone, and its own screens make the point. On 6 September 2026:

Same operator, same week, and an S unit costs S$89 a month more in Tampines than in Jurong East. Nearby-branch tiles were showing entry prices from S$26.19 at Bukit Batok No.9. If you can drive to a unit, comparing branches of one operator is worth more than comparing brands.
A trap on StorHub's own pages. Each branch page also carries a written price table labelled indicative, and it does not match the live widget above it. The Tampines table quotes a locker "From S$70/month" and an S unit "From S$120/month", while the booking screen at the same moment showed S$41.02 and S$251.90. The table understates mid-size units by roughly half. Book from the live availability screen.
The discount conditions that decide which storage deal is actually cheapest
All three operators are running promotions, and they are not comparable on the headline percentage alone. Every one of them rolled over at the start of September, which is worth knowing before you trust a figure copied from an older roundup.
- Extra Space Asia, 30% off self storage, to 30 November 2026. The biggest headline discount, and the only one that asks for the whole term up front: you must prepay 3 to 12 months. For a three-month renovation that is three months' rent payable at signing. No deposit, no hidden fees. A separate 30% off wine storage runs to the end of November. The August "Moving Season" campaign became "Year-End Lock-In" at the same 30% and the same condition, so only the branding changed.
- StorHub, two months for the price of one at selected facilities, plus two months free (worth up to 16% off a 12-month term) if you sign up by 30 September 2026, branch-level 12-for-10 and 12-for-11 offers, a locker deal advertised from $25 a month at Jurong East and Jurong West on autopay giving 50% off the first four months, S$100 for a referral and buy-five-boxes-get-one-free. No security deposit and no prepayment, month to month.
- Lock+Store, three branch-specific deals, to end September 2026. 50% off brand new air-conditioned units at One North / Ayer Rajah, 50% off air-conditioned space at Tanjong Pagar, and 40% off air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned space at Kaki Bukit. All three need a minimum three-month rental. This trio replaced the August set outright: the SG61 61% at Sembawang is gone, and so is the Ayer Rajah 40%. The headline fell from 61% to 50% and every offer now carries a three-month floor, so a one-month or two-month storage gap no longer qualifies anywhere.
Two more conditions worth confirming in writing on any of them: the renewal rate once the promotional period ends, which is the number that decides what a long stay really costs, and whether air conditioning is included at the branch you want. Lock+Store says it offers air-conditioned units at all its facilities, which matters more in Singapore's humidity than most people budget for.
One scheduling catch. Extra Space's branch offices run Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm, and close on Sundays and public holidays. Unit access is round the clock once you are a customer, but you cannot sign up or get a question answered on a Sunday, which catches out people trying to arrange storage around a weekend move.
Insurance: nobody publishes a cap, so ask for one
Of the four movers here, only two mention insurance on their own websites at all. CYC Movers confirms cover on all its moves and says basic and comprehensive options are available. Shalom Movers says cover varies by the premium type you choose and directs you to call 6287 6117. Tip Top Movers and Soon Seng Transport make no statement. Not one of the four prints a maximum payout.
Three questions get you a real answer:
- What is the maximum payout, per item and per move, in dollars? Cover described as public liability insurance protects the company against injury and third-party damage. It is not cover for your belongings, and the two get conflated constantly.
- Is it included in this quote or a paid add-on? If it is an add-on, what does the upgrade cost and what cap does it buy?
- Does the cover run for the whole period, including the months my things sit in storage? This is the one that catches long relocations, where the truck journey is a fraction of the exposure.
Get the answers in writing before booking, photograph high-value items before they are packed, and insist on a numbered, itemised inventory for anything going into storage. That inventory is exactly what an insurer will ask you for.
Packing for a long relocation is a different job
A move across town and a consignment that sits boxed for eight months are not the same service. If you are heading overseas, waiting out a long renovation or between homes for more than a few weeks, ask for the long-term or export packing tier by name rather than accepting a standard house-move quote.

Book long-relocation packing earlier than a standard move, three to four weeks out and earlier again around peak periods, because volume drives both the crate count and the storage unit size you pay for monthly. The survey matters more here than on a simple local move.
The mover vetting checklist
- Written, itemised quote with every surcharge listed: lift landing, long carry, bulky items, disposal
- On-site or video survey for anything from a 3-room flat up, which locks the price and removes the "more items than expected" excuse on the day
- Insurance cap in dollars, plus whether it covers the storage months
- Real reviews, read specifically for whether the final bill matched the quote and how damage complaints were handled
- Registered business with a verifiable entity, not just a WhatsApp number. Tip Top's operating company, for example, is Tip Top Relocators Pte Ltd, UEN 202403536H
- Disposal quoted separately, never folded into a vague all-in rate
Moving day prep
- Book the mover 2 to 4 weeks out, earlier for weekends, school holidays and year end
- Label every box with the room and the contents
- Pack a first-night bag: chargers, documents, toiletries, a change of clothes
- Book the lift with your condo or HDB management and note the time window
- Photograph high-value items before packing, as a dated pre-move condition record
- Update your address with ICA, IRAS, CPF, banks, utilities and subscriptions
Bulky-item disposal
Contact your HDB town council to schedule a bulky-item collection. There is usually a fee per item and a waiting period, so book it before move day rather than on it. Selling or giving away through Carousell or Facebook Marketplace before the move cuts both the volume you pay to shift and the storage size you would need. If you want the mover to take it, get it quoted separately: Tip Top publishes from S$69 an item, S$250 a half truck and S$450 a full truck with the disposal fee included.
What changed in this update (6 September 2026)
Every storage promotion on this page rolled over on 1 September, and all three moved differently. The four movers are unchanged: Shalom, CYC, Tip Top and Soon Seng all still publish the same claims and the same rate card we recorded in August. The storage side did not survive the month.
Lock+Store replaced its entire deal set. The SG61 61% off at Sembawang, which we called the biggest discount on the page, has been withdrawn, and so has the Ayer Rajah 40%. In their place are 50% off brand new air-conditioned units at One North / Ayer Rajah, a new 50% off air-conditioned space at Tanjong Pagar, and 40% off at Kaki Bukit, all to end September 2026. The headline fell from 61% to 50%, and every one of the three now carries a minimum three-month rental where the Sembawang offer did not, so a short storage gap that qualified in August qualifies nowhere now.
Extra Space Asia kept the discount and changed the name. "Moving Season" closed on 31 August as advertised and was replaced by "Year-End Lock-In" at the same 30%, the same 3-to-12-month prepayment condition, and a new end date of 30 November 2026.
StorHub extended, and its live prices moved in both directions. The two-months-free sign-up deadline moved from 31 August to 30 September 2026. On the booking widget, Jurong East's XS jumped from S$72.45 to S$84.30 a month, up 16%, while its locker, S, M, L and XL all edged down. Tampines moved too, its S unit falling from S$263.73 to S$251.90 while XL rose to S$751.61. Every figure on this page was re-read off the live screens on 6 September 2026.
A correction to our own wording. We previously wrote that StorHub's indicative branch table is "cheaper on lockers" than the live widget. It is the other way round: the table quotes a locker from S$70 while the widget was showing S$41.02. We have also found the same table, locker from S$70 and XS from S$80, on the Jurong East page, whose live rates are entirely different, which confirms it is boilerplate rather than branch pricing.
