The offer

Bari Bari Steak SG's own Facebook post reads "We're officially open at 313@somerset and we want to celebrate with you!" and sets out the mechanics:

  1. 1-for-1 Teppan, 15 to 18 September 2026. The poster's terms say the complimentary item is of equal or lower value, so you pay for the dearer of the two mains.
  2. A $10 return voucher with every transaction, valid with a minimum spend of $60.
  3. Dine-in only, at the 313@somerset outlet only, while stocks last.

Bari Bari Steak is a teppan concept by EN Group. Steaks arrive on a hot plate with a hot stone pellet so you can finish them to your own doneness, and every teppan set comes with its free-flow Japanese salad bar, rice and dessert.

What two mains actually cost

Prices below are from Bari Bari Steak's own menu on its website, before the 10% service charge and 9% GST.

A4/A5 Miyazakigyu + Sirloin 200g$90.90++$58.00++$32.90

Two 200g sirloins at $32.90++ work out to about $39.45 nett, or $19.72 a head, if service charge and GST are added to the discounted bill. The brand has not said how the ++ is applied during the promotion, so budget for the chance that it is charged on the full price.

The free main can never be an oyster blade

This is the line that changes the order. The poster says the complimentary item excludes Oyster Blade Teppan and Miyazaki Beef Teppan.

  • The Australian Angus Oyster Blade Steak Teppan ($26.90 for 160g, $28.90 for 200g) carries the menu's Chef's Recommendation badge, and it cannot be the free main.
  • The Argentinian Oyster Blade Steak Teppan ($27.90/$30.90) is not named separately, but the brand's post simply says "Oyster Blade", so assume it is out too and ask staff before you rely on it. The same question applies to the Diced Cut Steak teppans, which the menu describes as a mix of oyster blade cuts.
  • The A4/A5 Miyazakigyu Teppan ($58 for 160g, limited portions daily) is excluded as the free item.

You can still order any of them as your paid main. If one diner wants the Miyazakigyu and the other a 200g sirloin, the sirloin goes free and the pair costs $58++.

Fine print

  • 313@somerset only. Tampines 1, Junction 8, VivoCity and Great World are not in this promotion, and Bari Bari Grand at The Capitol ran its own 1-for-1 from 1 to 5 September.
  • Dine-in only. No takeaway and no delivery.
  • House rules still apply. Bari Bari Steak's menu says every customer above 10 years old must order at least one main, sharing is not allowed and dining time is 90 minutes.
  • The voucher is for next time. $10 off a later bill of at least $60. The brand has not published an expiry or said whether other outlets accept it.
  • No stacking. Bari Bari Steak's standing offers (the $12.90++ salad bar deal, the Tampines 1 senior and 5pm-6pm discounts) all say they cannot be combined with other promotions, and none of them runs at 313@somerset anyway.
  • While stocks last, and management can amend the terms without notice.

Tips

  • Go in pairs and order the same steak. Two identical dishes means nothing is wasted on the equal-or-lower rule.
  • Lunch on a weekday is the whole window. 15 to 18 September is Tuesday to Friday, and the outlet opens 11am to 10pm daily, so an 11am or 2pm table dodges the office crowd.
  • Book or call ahead. Opening deals at a basement food floor fill fast. The outlet's number is 6509 4473.
  • Groups of three or more: the brand has not said how 1-for-1 applies to odd numbers, so expect one diner to pay full price.
