Pepper Lunch has put the Cheesy Omelette back on its Singapore menu, and this time it has bolted a game onto it. The dish runs 1 September to 2 November 2026, while stocks last, and every one you order hands you a tear-to-reveal card.

> Quick view: sets from $16.90 with a drink · 1 card per Cheesy Omelette ordered · cards given out 1 Sep to 18 Oct only · prizes expire 31 Oct · the free dish is dine-in, next visit only · halal certified.

The brand is leaning on the dish's age. The campaign artwork calls it "The Legend Returns, Since 2012", which is a fair claim: this is the item Pepper Lunch fans have been asking after for years, a mound of soft, cheese-soaked scrambled egg served on the same cast-iron plate that keeps cooking at the table.

The three sets

All three include a drink:

SetPrice
Beef Slices Cheesy Omelette Set$16.90
Chicken Steak Cheesy Omelette Set$16.90
Striploin Steak Cheesy Omelette Set$20.90

Two limited items ride along at $4.90 each. The Yammy Taro Cake is available at all outlets. Jalapeno Poppers with Hot Honey are not, and are listed at six restaurants only: Jem, Nex, Parkway Parade, Pasir Ris Mall, Tampines 1 and Hougang Mall.

Sizzle. Tear. WIN!, and the two dates that matter

The mechanic is refreshingly plain. One card equals one Cheesy Omelette ordered. You tear it open at the table and either win or you do not. The prize pool, per the campaign material, covers free Cheesy Omelettes, 1-for-1 and 2-for-1 Cheesy Omelettes, sides and ice cream, and media coverage puts the pool at 16,000 prizes nationwide.

Now the part worth writing down, because almost every write-up of this promotion leads with 2 November and stops there. The poster prints two separate windows, and both are shorter:

  1. Card distribution: 1 September to 18 October 2026. After 18 October the omelette is still on the menu, but there are no more cards.
  2. Redemption: 1 September to 31 October 2026. A prize you won in September dies at the end of October whether you use it or not.

So the honest deadline for anyone chasing the game is 18 October to earn, 31 October to eat. The 2 November date only tells you how long you can still buy the dish at full price.

The fine print on the free omelette

The line at the foot of the poster is the one to read twice: the complimentary dish is valid for a Beef Slices Cheesy Omelette or Chicken Steak Cheesy Omelette on your next dine-in visit only.

Unpack that and three limits fall out:

  • It is never the striploin. The free version is capped at the two $16.90 sets, so the $20.90 Striploin Steak set is out. The poster does not say whether you can top up the difference, so ask before you order.
  • It is never the same meal. "Next visit" means the card you tear tonight is spent on a different day. Every win is a second trip.
  • It is never delivery. Dine-in only, which rules out the GrabFood and foodpanda orders Pepper Lunch otherwise pushes hard.

Add "while stocks last" across the whole campaign, and the sensible read is that the card is a nice bonus on a meal you already wanted, not a reason to build an evening around.

Tips

  • Two people, two cards. The card is per Cheesy Omelette ordered, not per table or per receipt, so a pair each ordering one doubles the draws.
  • Go before 18 October if the game is the point. The last three weeks of the menu run hand out nothing.
  • Check the poppers before you travel. Only six outlets carry the Jalapeno Poppers, so do not pick a branch for them without checking.
  • Keep the card somewhere you will find it. A winning card is worth a return visit but only until 31 October, and it is dine-in.
