TamJai SamGor, the Hong Kong mixian chain, is marking 11.11 with a one-day 1-for-1 on its rice noodle bowls. It is a short, simple deal, but it only runs at two of its Singapore shops, so check the outlet before you head out.

A build-your-own bowl at TamJai SamGor works in three steps: pick your toppings, then your soup base, then your spice level. The soups include the signature SamGor hot and sour, tomato, ma la, the charred pepper Wu La and a clear broth, and the spice level runs up to a "Double Hell Fire". For the 1-for-1, the only rule TamJai SamGor states is the topping count: at least two.
The fine print
- One day only. The deal is on Wed 11 Nov 2026. It is a weekday, so a lunch crowd at Clementi is likely.
- Two outlets only. The Clementi Mall (#03-53) and Junction 8 (#B1-20). No other TamJai SamGor shop is listed.
- Junction 8 is takeaway only. You cannot sit down and eat your two bowls there under this deal.
- Build-your-own bowls only. The rule is a bowl you create with two or more toppings. The fixed Cross-Bridge (Guo Qiao) bowl, with its set toppings, is a different item.
- Terms not printed. TamJai SamGor's post does not say which bowl is free, whether the free bowl also needs two toppings, whether there is a limit per person, or whether delivery apps count. Ask the staff before you pay.
Tips
- Pair your bowls on price. Most 1-for-1s give the cheaper item free, so two similar bowls get the most out of it. Confirm with the staff first.
- Go early or late. Lunch on a Wednesday in a mall means a queue. Arriving before 12pm or after 2pm should help.
