Takashimaya has cleared Talking Hall for a six-day designer sale, and the brand list is stronger than the usual basement clearance: Rick Owens, Jacquemus, Off-White, Stella McCartney and Undercover sit alongside newer names like Post Archive Faction and We11done. It runs Wednesday 23 to Monday 28 September 2026.

The offer
Takashimaya's event page reads: selected fashion at up to 80% off at Talking Hall, from now to Monday 28 September 2026. The campaign poster gives Wednesday 23 September as day one, so you have six days including today.

The fine print
- "Up to" means up to. 80% is the deepest cut on selected pieces. Takashimaya does not publish item prices, so expect a spread of markdowns, and read each tag.
- Terms apply (the asterisk on the poster and page), but the full T&Cs are not online. Ask at the Talking Hall counter about exchanges and refunds before you pay, as sale items at clearance events are often final.
- In-store only. The event page says nothing about takashimaya.com.sg carrying the sale.
- Stock is whatever each label sends. A brand on the list may only have a few racks, and popular sizes go first.
- No gift with purchase. Takashimaya's Autumn Elegance tea-set redemption (min. spend $500, or $400 for Takashimaya cardholders) was marked "fully redeemed" as of Tuesday 15 September.
- Tourists: Takashimaya advertises its own Tourist Privileges of up to 20% off in-store. It does not say whether that stacks with Talking Hall prices, so ask before paying, and keep the receipt for the usual eTRS GST refund.
Tips
- Go on Wednesday or Thursday. Six days is short, and the best sizes in the better-known labels (Jacquemus bags, Rick Owens, Fear of God Essentials) are the first to go.
- Weekday mornings are the quietest. The store opens at 10am, and Talking Hall weekends around a big-name sale get crowded.
- Know your retail price. Check the label's own site on your phone before you buy, so you can tell a real 70-80% cut from a 30% one.
- Try things on. Designer sizing varies a lot between Japanese, Korean and European labels, and you may not be able to return a sale piece.
- Need it altered? A good tailor can turn a discounted piece that almost fits into one that does.
