Seven home security cameras with Singapore prices read off eufy, Xiaomi and COURTS on 8 November 2026, from a S$35.90 indoor cam to a 4G camera that needs no Wi-Fi, plus what HDB allows outside your door.
A decent home camera in Singapore now costs less than a dinner for two, and none of these needs a subscription.
> Quick view: best indoor is the Xiaomi C701 Pro at S$119. Cheapest is the Xiaomi C201 at S$35.90. Catch: a camera in the HDB corridor needs Town Council approval.
How to choose a home security camera in Singapore
Indoors or outside? Inside your flat, HDB says you do not need its approval for a standalone camera or smart doorbell, as long as it does not face another flat's door or windows and is not fixed to the building facade. A camera in the common corridor is different: approach your Town Council first, because the corridor is common property.
Plug-in or wire-free. Plug-in cameras (Xiaomi, Tapo C320WS, Reolink E1) never need charging but need a socket close by. Battery and solar cameras (eufy S220, Reolink Go Plus) go anywhere but record in shorter clips to save power.
Skip the subscription. Every camera here can record to a microSD card or its own storage, so the cloud plans are optional. Budget roughly the price of a card, and remember that local footage can walk off with the camera.
Resolution matters most at a distance. 1080p is enough for a bedroom. For a gate, a driveway or a large living room, 2K or 4K is what lets you read a face or a car plate.
How we checked
Prices come from eufy's and Xiaomi's own Singapore stores and from COURTS on 8 November 2026. The eufy codes sit in eufy's own product data with a 30 October start and no end date, and the other prices are markdowns with no published end date, so check the price before you pay. We left out models that were sold out on 8 November (eufy S350 and C220, Tapo C310). Cover: product images from eufy, TP-Link Tapo, Reolink and Xiaomi.
