Sheng Siong put a new fortnightly ad on its own corporate site on Friday 18 September 2026, newspaper ad SSAD26-1189, with the promotion period stamped across the top: 18/09/2026 to 01/10/2026.
> Quick view: no Purchase-with-Purchase box this time, so these are straight prices · Lurpak 200g is $11.50 for 2, or $5.75 a block · Shine Muscat $1.88 a 500g box, but the whole fruit page ends 24 Sep, a week early · two Buy 1 Free 1 lines · 6% CHAS is Thu and Fri, 4% seniors is Tue and Wed
Read this first: the fruit and veg page ends a week early
Printed in brackets beside the Fruits & Vegetables header is a different window from the one at the top of the ad: Offer Period: 18 to 24/09/2026 (7 days only). Seven days inside a fourteen-day ad. It is the same trap the August run carried, and it is the line that gets dropped when a deal blog retypes the poster.
What ends on Thursday 24 September:
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Yunnan Shine Muscat Grape (green) 500g | $1.88 / box |
| Vietnam Dragon Fruit (large) | $1.99 for 3 pcs |
| New Zealand Zespri SunGold Kiwi 7s | $8.70 / box |
| China Green Kiwi 450g | $3.25 / box |
| Egypt Sweet Celebration Seedless Grape 500g | $2.99 / box |
| China Honey Crispy Plum 500g | $2.99 / box |
| China Kate Mango (jumbo) | $2.65 / pc |
| China Golden Pomelo | $3.99 / pc |
| China White Radish | 12¢ / 100g |
| China Baby Taro | 32¢ / 100g |
| China Pine Cauliflower | 35¢ / 100g |
| China Lotus Root | 49¢ / 100g |
The $1.88 Shine Muscat is the standout, and it is cheaper than the $1.99 the same Yunnan green Shine Muscat carried on Sheng Siong's August ad, so the price has moved the right way. Everything on this page is while stocks last, which on grapes means the first weekend, not the last day.
Where the real value is: about twenty lines are priced in multiples
This ad prices a large minority of its items for 2, for 3 or for 6, and never prints the single-unit price beside them. The per-unit arithmetic is worth doing before you decide:

Buy one of a for-2 item and you should expect the ordinary shelf price. The terms cap you at 3 units per product, per customer, per transaction, and the artwork does not say whether a for-2 line counts as two units or one bundle, so ask at the counter if you were planning to stock up.
The two Buy 1 Free 1 lines
- SAJO Less Sodium 35% Luncheon Meat 200g, $3.90 a can, buy 1 free 1, so $1.95 a can
- Selleys All-in-One Laundry Capsules Refill Pack (assorted), 60pcs, $28.90 a pack, buy 1 free 1, so $14.45 a pack, which is about 24¢ a wash across 120 capsules
Neither carries a separate end date on the artwork, so both run the full fortnight to 1 October, while stocks last.
Housebrands, and what else is worth a look
The housebrand box carries the same 18/09 to 01/10 window as the rest of the ad:

Advertised beverage prices exclude the BCRS 10¢ deposit per can or bottle, which the ad states in its own terms.
The discounts at the bottom of the ad are day-gated
This is where most shoppers quietly lose money, because the strip is small and the assumption is that these run daily. They do not:
- 6% CHAS Special Discount: every Thursday for CHAS Blue Card holders, every Friday for CHAS Orange Card holders, valid till 01/01/2027, on production of a physical or digital CHAS card at checkout. The panel on the right of the ad confirms this is the raised rate, up from 4%, running 10 September 2026 to 1 January 2027. Inside this fortnight: 24 September and 1 October for Blue, 18 and 25 September for Orange.
- 4% Seniors Special Discount: every Tuesday and Wednesday only, Singaporeans and PRs aged 60 and above, valid till 31/12/2026. Inside this fortnight: 22, 23, 29 and 30 September.
- Card rebates: 6% with the BOC Sheng Siong Card, 5% with the POSB Everyday Card, 5% with the Citi SMRT Platinum Visa Card. The ad footnotes that terms may vary and are applicable for all bank rebates.
Whether a percentage discount applies on top of an advertised promotional price is not stated on the artwork, so confirm at the till.
Also running at Sheng Siong right now
- The Baby Fair runs 11 to 24 September 2026, chain-wide.
- The new store at Blk 181 Hougang Street 13 #02-01 has its own single-outlet 7 Days Special, 16 to 22 September, which is not part of this ad and does not apply at other stores.
- No islandwide 3 Days Special or 4 Days Special is posted as of 18 September. Those appear on the corporate site only when they begin, so check the page on the day rather than planning a trip around one.
Tips
- Do the fruit run this weekend. The whole page dies on Thursday 24 September, and grapes sell out well before that.
- Check the "for 2" before you put one in the trolley. Half the value on this ad is in the multiples, and the single price is not printed anywhere.
- If you hold a CHAS card, shop your own day. Blue on 24 September or 1 October, Orange on 18 or 25 September. That 6% is the biggest single lever on the whole ad.
- If you are 60 or above, go Tuesday or Wednesday. 22 or 23 September catches a fresh restock and the 4%.
