POPULAR has started its Children's Day promotion early and it runs through the school holiday on Friday 2 October to Sunday 4 October 2026. Most of the deals are for the kids themselves: books, stationery, snacks and a few gadgets, plus a $5 voucher for spending $60.

The offer
POPULAR's store promotions page and its five campaign posters (uploaded 17 September) set out the deals:

On top of those, a single receipt of $60 nett or more earns a $5 discount voucher, and POPULAR's poster marks that as available at all stores.
The lucky draw
The same $60 nett receipt enters a lucky draw for one of 8 myFirst Fone R2 Kids Smart Watches, worth $299 each. It is open to POPULAR Members and Followers, and only at the 8 Mega Stores:

If you are near one of these, shop there rather than at a smaller branch. The $60 spend gets you the voucher at any store, and only a Mega Store adds the draw entry.
Online
POPULAR says selected deals are also on popular.com.sg. On 23 September its Children's Day page showed:
- Stationery: 369 lines, most at 30% off. Unicorn erasable pens are $11.13 (usually $15.90) and Strange Us sticky notes are $2.03-$2.73. The Smileyd bags are 25% off, not 30%.
- Titbits: 42 lines, including Comvita Manuka Honey Lozenges at $6.50 (usually $12.90), Milo Nuggets at $1.70 and Kit Kat Bites at $1.80. Several, including the Pocky 8-pack, were already sold out online.
- English books: 263 titles in the Children's Day collection. The product tiles show the usual price, so the 30% for two or more should show up in the cart. Check it has before you pay.
The site banner also advertises 10% off storewide for members with the code 10MEMBER. POPULAR does not say whether it stacks with the Children's Day prices, so try it at checkout and see.
The fine print
- Dates: 18 September to 4 October 2026. The online page's browser title still says "19 Sep - 6 Oct", left over from last year's campaign; POPULAR updated the page itself with the 4 October date on 17 September.
- "T&Cs apply. While stocks last." is on every poster. The full terms are not published online.
- The book discount is on selected titles only, and you need at least two of them.
- $60 is nett, so it is counted after the discounts, not before.
- The Apple saving is $30, and the real value is the watch, which POPULAR's own lucky-draw poster prices at $299.
- POPULAR does not publish when or where the $5 voucher can be spent. Ask at the counter when you get it.
Tips
- Plan your basket around $60 nett. Two discounted English books plus a Butter Bear pencil case and some stationery gets you there quickly, and the voucher knocks $5 off your next visit.
- Shop at a Mega Store if one is on your way. Same prices, plus the draw.
- Buy the cloth books in threes. At 3 for $10, a single $12.90 book costs more than the whole bundle.
- Go early for Butter Bear. Half-price character stationery tends to sell out first, and the offer is while stocks last.
- Buying the Apple laptop or iPad anyway? The free kids' watch makes this a better deal than the $30 markdown suggests, if your child is the right age for one.
