A telco giveaway is usually a single number shouted in a banner, and GOMO's number this month is a big one: 12 months free. It is real, it is on GOMO's own site, and it is not the best thing on the page it sits on.
> Quick view: GOMO by Singtel gives free months on a no-contract 5G+ plan when a phone goes into the same checkout. A Samsung Galaxy S26 FE at $1,093 with code GOMOS26FE12M makes the first 12 months free (6 months, code GOMOS26FE6M, on the two Infinity plans). Any other phone with GOMO5G100 makes the first 3 months free. New customers and port-ins only, online only. GOMO's plan cards and FAQ say 20 September 2026; its homepage banner says the iPhone code runs to 30 September 2026; the page listing all eight deals prints no date at all.
What is actually on offer

The 12 months is worth less than it sounds
Free months are worth whatever your plan costs, so the headline only turns into money once you pick a plan. GOMO's standard rates, after any promotional months: $19.99 for the 400GB plan, $21.99 for the 700GB plan, $30.99 for 5G+ Asia Infinity, $50.00 for 5G+ Global Infinity.
That produces an odd result. Twelve free months is not the biggest prize on the page. Six is.
- 12 months on the 400GB plan: $239.88
- 12 months on the 700GB plan: $263.88
- 6 months on 5G+ Asia Infinity: $185.94
- 6 months on 5G+ Global Infinity: $300.00
The Infinity plans get half the free months and the Global Infinity one still walks away with the most value, because it is the plan that costs the most to begin with.
The phone with the fewest free months is the best deal
Put the phone discount and the free months together and the headline inverts completely. On the 700GB plan:
| Bundle | Off the phone | Free months | Total value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Pixel 10, 3 months | $500 | $65.97 | $565.97 |
| Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G, 3 months | $400 | $65.97 | $465.97 |
| Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, 12 months | $75 | $263.88 | $338.88 |
| iPhone 17 Pro, 3 months | $150 | $65.97 | $215.97 |
The Pixel 10 bundle is worth about $227 more than the one advertising four times as many free months, and on the $50 Global Infinity plan the gap widens to $275 ($650 against $375). The reason is simple: the S26 FE only has $75 taken off it, so almost all of its value is in the free months, while the Pixel 10 has $500 taken off and the free months are a bonus on top.
Two things to keep honest about that. These are different phones at different price points, so the value ranking is not advice on which handset you should own. And every usual price above is GOMO's own number, not one checked against another retailer.
Two end dates, one promo code
This is the part worth screenshotting before you sign up.
- Every 5G+ plan card on gomo.sg finishes with "Promotions valid till 20 September 2026".
- GOMO's own FAQ, further down that same homepage, repeats it directly under the device list: "All promotions valid till 20 September 2026".
- The hero banner at the top of that same homepage says of the iPhone bundle: "Use promo code GOMO5G100 at checkout page. Promo ends 30 Sep 2026."
- The offers page that actually lists all eight phone deals prints no end date anywhere and links to no terms and conditions.
- GOMO's Promotions T&C page dates GOMO6650, the port-in promo and the Udders voucher to 20 September, and never mentions GOMO5G100, GOMOS26FE12M, GOMOS26FE6M or GOMO12MA6 at all.
There is a third date hiding in the same FAQ. It says the 15% broadband discount for 5G+ customers is "Valid till 9 September 2026", a date that has already gone, while the banner and the broadband plan cards above it sell that same discount to 20 September. A homepage tile also still advertises a free month of 5G+ mobile for new broadband sign-ups, and the T&C dates that promotion to 9 September 2026 as well.
Until GOMO reconciles them, 20 September is the date written the most times and the safe one to plan around, with the iPhone code the likeliest to survive to the 30th.
The word doing the work is "up to"
If you are not buying a phone, the plan-only code is GOMO6650, and the plan cards advertise it as "50% off for up to 3 months". GOMO's own terms split that into two separate promotions:
- 50% off one month, for any new sign-up or port-in, capped at the first 10,000 redemptions.
- 50% off two extra months on top, but only for port-ins, and only from a non-Singtel provider. GOMO's terms write out port-ins from Singtel Mobile or any Singtel MVNO by name.
So a plain new sign-up with no number to bring gets one half-price month, not three. Both parts exclude the $6 5G+ Senior and $12 5G+ Student & NS plans. The separate $5 Udders ice cream voucher was narrower still: port-ins between 18 and 20 September 2026 only, delivered by SMS within three weeks, first-come while stocks last.
The fine print
- New customers and port-ins only. An existing GOMO subscriber adding a phone does not qualify.
- Same checkout. The phone must go into the same transaction as the plan sign-up, not bought separately in the app afterwards.
- One code. GOMO's pages present a single promo code per checkout and point plan-only shoppers at GOMO6650 instead, so treat the free months and the 50% off as alternatives. Confirm at the order summary page before paying.
- The plans are no-contract and bill every 30 days to a debit or credit card, but charges are non-refundable once a sign-up goes through.
- A failed payment or a plan change can reset you to the non-promotional rate, in GOMO's own words.
- Senior and Student rates are age-gated: the $6 plan needs 60 or older, the $12 plan needs 16 to 24.
