A build-your-own salad in Singapore now costs $10.50 to $19.70 at the chains, and about $7 at a hawker stall. We read seven brands' own menus, ordering pages and outlet lists on 6 October 2026 to compare bowl prices, portions, opening hours and the loyalty perks that actually save money.
The cheapest way to eat a decent salad at lunch is picking the right chain, not skipping the protein.
> Quick view: best all-rounder is SaladStop! at $10.90 for any build-your-own; best protein deal is Super Simple, two proteins for $11.90; most CBD outlets close on weekends.
How we checked
Every price comes from the brand's own channel on 6 October 2026: SaladStop!'s ordering site, Super Simple's YQueue ordering page, The Daily Cut's Fall 2026 menu PDF, Poke Theory's online menu, Grain Traders' and Cedele's websites, and The Salad Corner's latest posted menu (February 2025, the newest it has published). Outlets and hours are from each brand's own location page. We left out chains whose own website no longer works, including Lean Bento, whose domain is now listed for sale, and Aloha Poke, whose site returns a blank page.
How to pick a salad bowl in Singapore
- Count the protein, not the leaves. A $10.90 bowl with one protein and a $11.90 bowl with two (Super Simple) are very different lunches. At The Daily Cut, only the $16.50 Large has two proteins.
- Watch the add-ons. Avocado (+$1.50 to +$2.20), salmon (+$3) and quinoa quietly push a $13.50 bowl past $17.
- Check the weekend. Most CBD bowl bars close Saturday and Sunday. Poke Theory's heartland outlets, SaladStop! at Great World and Novena, and The Daily Cut (11am to 4pm) are your weekend options.
- Bring a bowl. SaladStop! gives a free standard topping and Poke Theory a free paid topping when you bring your own container.
- Order ahead at 12.30pm. SaladStop!, Super Simple and Poke Theory all take online orders for pickup, which skips the queue but not the kitchen, so allow 10 to 15 minutes.
