Too busy to cook but tired of oily zi char and delivery bloat? Singapore's healthy meal-delivery and meal-prep scene has never been bigger: chef-cooked, calorie-counted meals that heat up in three minutes and land at your door. We rounded up the 7 best healthy meal delivery and meal-prep subscription services in Singapore for 2026, each checked against the brand's own site: Grain (same-day, MUIS halal), YoloFoods (Asian menu, now all frozen, from $7.90), Nutrition Kitchen (fresh daily plans, $15.25 to $17.40/meal), Freshkitchen (chilled daily, $14.95 to $16.50/meal, by the SaladStop! Group), Fresher (high-protein performance meals from $8.90), Prepped (5-minute meal kits) and Mighty Meal Prep (halal-branded bento, 1-week trial $85). Below: what each one does best, every per-meal price re-walked in the brands' own order builders on 3 October 2026, daily and weekly delivery rhythms, the minimums nobody advertises, healthy catering for the office, which kitchens are genuinely halal-certified (two brands now contradict themselves on this), plus how meal kits and meal subscriptions differ, and every promo code we could verify on 3 October (YoloFoods' 20MIN100/25MIN150/30MIN220 spend tiers, GETSTARTED, SMOATS, SG61, mealprepper).
Healthy food delivery in Singapore now runs from same-day chef-cooked meals to frozen high-protein packs and five-minute meal kits, and what a week actually costs varies far more than the headline per-meal prices suggest.
> Quick view: Grain is the best all-rounder and the only kitchen here on the MUIS halal register. Cheapest per meal: YoloFoods frozen $7.90, Fresher $8.90 (or $5.42 a protein pack). Fresh-daily plans $14.95 to $17.40. The catch: every from-price here is the 20-day tier, so a single trial week costs $1.50 to $2.50 more a meal.
How to choose the right meal service for you
- By goal: weight loss or muscle gain with tracked macros, go to Nutrition Kitchen or Fresher; general 'eat healthier', Grain or Freshkitchen; local flavours that fit your calories, YoloFoods.
- By halal need: Grain is the only option here that appears on the MUIS halal register (Grain Pte. Ltd., certificate FPGN21100001606, Catering Company sub-scheme, re-checked 19 Sep 2026). We ran every brand on this page through the register on 19 September and Grain is still the only hit. Two brands now contradict themselves, so read them carefully. YoloFoods' new plan builder states each plan is 'Prepared in a Halal-certified kitchen', but its own FAQ on the same site says 'We are currently in the process of obtaining our Halal certification', and the register returns nothing for YoloFoods, yolofoods or YOLO Group. Freshkitchen's FAQ says in one answer that it offers 'halal-certified options' and in another that 'our central kitchen is not Halal-certified', and that some dishes contain wine or mirin, which you can swap out. Mighty Meal Prep brands itself halal but is not on the register and publishes no MUIS details, and a Bali Lane search returns only its neighbours. The rest are not certified.
- By freshness vs convenience: fresh-chilled (Grain, Nutrition Kitchen, Freshkitchen) tastes best but must be eaten within days; frozen (Fresher, YoloFoods frozen) keeps for weeks and is cheaper per meal.
- By budget: cheapest per meal are the frozen and high-protein brands (Fresher from $8.90, or $5.40 for a Just Protein pack; YoloFoods frozen from $7.90); fresh-daily plated meals cost more, and both brands' from-prices are their 20-day or 4-week tiers, so a single trial week is $16.50 a meal at Freshkitchen and $17.40 at Nutrition Kitchen, not the $14.95 and $15.25 on the tin.
- By effort: want zero cooking, take any ready-to-eat brand; enjoy a quick cook, take Prepped's five-minute kits.
Meal kits vs meal subscriptions vs one-off delivery
These three get lumped together as "meal delivery in Singapore", but they suit different weeks:
- Meal kits: raw ingredients washed, chopped and portioned with a recipe; you cook in about five minutes. Freshest taste, least packaging, but the ingredients are raw so you have to eat them within a few days. Prepped is the specialist here ($7.90 to $13.90 a single portion on the menu open on 3 October, with mains from $8.10).
- Meal subscriptions: a recurring plan delivered on a set rhythm, usually with a minimum block. Cheapest per meal and the easiest way to stop thinking about food, but you commit ahead: Freshkitchen and Nutrition Kitchen both need two meals a day over a block of weekdays, so ten meals is the smallest week at either, and Mighty Meal Prep runs a weekly Saturday cycle. Most let you pause or skip week to week. Two brands also sell the discount itself rather than a food plan: Grain Savers is $19 to $39 a month for 5 to 20 codes worth 19% off each, and Prepped's Subscribe & Save starts at $38.40 for four kits a week (about $9.60 a kit).
- One-off or a la carte delivery: order when you want, no plan. Best for testing a brand or covering the odd busy day; Grain, YoloFoods, Fresher and Prepped all allow it, usually at a slightly higher per-meal price.
If you're new to this, order one-off first, then move to a subscription once you know you'll actually finish a week's worth.
How to get the best price
- Stack a discount code with free delivery: use the codes below, and order a full week at once to clear the free-shipping minimum (YoloFoods and Prepped over $80, Fresher over $135; Freshkitchen includes delivery on every plan).
- Current promos (verified 3 Oct 2026): YoloFoods has retired `LAUNCH25` and now rewards bigger baskets: 20% off $100 with `20MIN100`, 25% off $150 with `25MIN150` and 30% off $220 with `30MIN220`, none valid on subscriptions, and new subscribers still get 20% off a first plan. Note that YoloFoods states its discounts are non-stackable and do not apply to shipping. Nutrition Kitchen gives SG$18 off a first order with `GETSTARTED`, which is back after we reported it retired; `SORTED26` has gone. Freshkitchen gives 15% off with `GETSTARTED`. Prepped gives 10% off 6+ smoothies or oats with `SMOATS`. Fresher gives $6.10 off with `SG61`, still flagged as last call, and `mealprepper` takes $19.90 off a $199 spend, which beats SG61 on any order that size. Its 9.9 Specials (12 meals for $109) have now ended.
- Codes rotate faster than the articles that quote them, and a dead code is not a retired code. In ten weeks YoloFoods has run BIRTHDAY30, PAYDAY30, FLASH35, LAUNCH25 and now a 20MIN100/25MIN150/30MIN220 spend ladder. Nutrition Kitchen dropped GETSTARTED for SORTED26, then dropped SORTED26 and brought GETSTARTED back at a better rate. Fresher replaced MAJULAHSG with SG61, kept SG61 on 'last call' for over a week, and quietly added mealprepper on top. The lesson from watching this page for two months is that codes come back, so before you accept that an offer is gone, check the banner and the cart rather than an older article, including ours.
- Trial before you subscribe: start with a one-off box or the cheapest frozen or bundle plan, then switch to a weekly subscription once you know you'll finish the meals.
- Mind the minimums, and the lead time: Freshkitchen and Nutrition Kitchen both need two meals a day, neither offers a one-meal option, and both close orders a week ahead (Freshkitchen's cut-off is Friday, so on Saturday 3 October its earliest start was Monday 12 October), so a fresh-daily plan is something you order more than a week ahead, not something you fix tonight's dinner with.
Prices, promo codes, delivery thresholds, minimum orders and halal status change and can be plan-specific. Always confirm the current details on each brand's official website before you order.
What a week of meal delivery in Singapore actually costs
Per-meal prices are the headline, but the honest comparison is per week, because minimum orders and free-delivery thresholds decide what you really pay. Here is roughly what five weekday lunches cost at each brand's own published from-prices:
- Cheapest: YoloFoods flash-frozen works out to about $40 a week for five meals at $7.90, and Fresher to roughly $60 for five mains from $11.90. Both are frozen, so one bigger order covers several weeks and clears the free-shipping minimum in a single go.
- Meal kits: Prepped starts around $40 a week for five $7.90 portions, but you still cook for five minutes, and kits keep only about three days. Its Subscribe & Save plan is $38.40 a week for four kits.
- Fresh-daily plans: this is where a week gets expensive, and it is the number most guides get wrong, including the version of this article we published last week. Both brands enforce a two-meals-a-day minimum, so five weekdays means ten meals, not five. At Nutrition Kitchen a first week is ten Small meals at $17.40, about $174, falling to roughly $152 a week once you are on the 4-week subscription at $15.25 a meal. At Freshkitchen a first week is ten Regular meals at $16.50, about $165, falling to $150 at the 20-day tier, delivery included in both. You pay for chilled-not-frozen, you eat it within days, and you cannot buy a half-week to test it.
- Weekly halal-branded bento: Mighty Meal Prep is about $77 a week ($310 for 20 meals over four weeks, roughly $15.50 each), or $85 for the one-week trial if you would rather not commit to four.
- Pay-as-you-go: Grain and YoloFoods fresh let you order only on the days you need. It costs more per meal, but nothing in the weeks you actually cook.
Rule of thumb: frozen and bundled is the cheap meal prep in Singapore; fresh-daily is the tastier, pricier one. Either way, order the whole week in one go, because splitting it into two orders is how most people end up paying delivery twice.
Healthy breakfast and office lunch delivery
Two things readers ask about that the per-meal tables never answer. For breakfast delivery, Fresher is the only brand here with a dedicated breakfast range, at a flat $8.90 for its three ready-to-go options (classic English breakfast, chicken and corn frittata, and poached eggs with mixed potato hash), and because they are frozen you can keep a week of them at your desk. The protein pancake and congee dishes are still on the site but only inside its Meal Plans, not as single orders. Prepped's smoothies and oatmeal at $6.90 each are the cheaper, lighter alternative. For office lunch, Grain is the easiest because it is order-when-you-want rather than a subscription, with same-day islandwide delivery in as fast as 30 minutes. If you want the week handled, Freshkitchen's earliest slot is 7am to 9am, so lunch is waiting before you start, though you have to book the week ahead. YoloFoods is no longer an option for a fresh desk lunch at all: the Restaurant YoloPlans that used to deliver in an 11.30am to 1.30pm window have gone, and everything now arrives frozen once a week.
Healthy catering in Singapore: feeding a team rather than a person
Most of this page is built around feeding one person, but the query we see most often after per-meal prices is healthy catering for an office, and only one brand here really does it. Grain runs full event and wedding catering alongside its daily menu, and its Party Boxes are the cheapest honest way to price a small team lunch: $93 for five mains with four sides or desserts, $132 for seven mains with six, and $184 for ten mains with eight. That is $18.60 a head at five and $18.40 at ten, which is a little more than the $15.30 to $22.90 you pay a la carte but includes the sides, and it arrives same-day.
If you only need mains, skip the Party Boxes and use the ordinary bundles, because they are cheaper per head and start smaller than most people realise: a Twosome is $28.50 (about $14.25 a main), a Threesome $42 (about $14.00) and a Fivesome $69 (about $13.80). So two colleagues ordering together already beat the a la carte floor, and you do not need a group of five to get bundle pricing.
For a bigger or recurring order, the Grain Savers subscription is worth the arithmetic rather than the marketing. At $19 a month for five 19%-off codes each code costs you $3.80, so it only pays for itself above a $20 order, which a single main does not reach but a Party Box clears easily: 19% off $184 is about $35. If you cater once a week, the $39 plan works out at $1.95 a code. Note that Grain is also the one kitchen on this page with a current MUIS halal certificate, which is usually the deciding factor for a mixed office. The others on this list are built for individual subscriptions, not group orders: Fresher's Bundle of 20 Homeground Gym Special is the closest thing to a team order elsewhere, and it was out of stock when we checked.
