What happened to Deliveroo Singapore?
Deliveroo stopped taking orders in Singapore at 3pm on 4 March 2026, ending 11 years in the market. Parent company DoorDash — which acquired Deliveroo in 2025 — wound the business down as part of a wider exit that also covered Japan, Qatar and Uzbekistan. Deliveroo's Singapore market share had slipped from about 24% in 2020 to roughly 7% by 2025. Kroll was appointed liquidator, and any unused Deliveroo Plus subscriptions or account credit had to be redeemed before the wind-down.
Most restaurants that were previously Deliveroo-exclusive have since onboarded to GrabFood, which also recruited a large share of Deliveroo's rider fleet. The practical effect for consumers: one less app to check, but no fee relief — neither GrabFood nor Foodpanda has cut delivery fees since the exit.
Which app should you actually open?
