Learning to swim in Singapore has a different urgency than in most places — we live on an island, surrounded by pools (HDB, condo, public, school), and water-survival skills are taught as default by upper primary. The question is rarely "should my kid learn?" but "where, how much, and how soon?"
We compared 7 of Singapore's most-booked kids swim schools for 2026 — from the national SwimSafer programme at ActiveSG pools to indoor heated-pool specialists that take babies from 3 months, and squad programmes that feed the competitive pathway. Every price below was checked against the school's own published rate card in July 2026; where a school doesn't publish rates, we say so rather than guess.
One thing to decide before you compare prices: indoor heated pool or not. It sounds like a luxury, but for under-5s it's the difference between a term of lessons and a term of rain-cancelled lessons. Happy Fish, Little Splashes and X Lab all run heated indoor water; ActiveSG pools and condo-based coaching don't.
