The local brand has the widest range at the lowest prices, and Harvey Norman matches its online store model for model. The 12L DC unit (EDH3120DDC) is S$199, with a DC motor, a 2L tank, a drain hose and a laundry mode for a room of about 380 sq ft, though it was on pre-order on 23 September. The 16L smart model (EDH3160EWH) is S$259 with Wi-Fi and a three-year warranty. The 30L smart model (EDH3300DWH), an online exclusive, is S$319 and covers up to 969 sq ft with a 4L tank and a carbon filter for musty smells. Step up to the 30L with a standalone HEPA purifier (EDH6300DGY) at S$499, or the 40L DC version with a 10-year warranty (EDH8400DGY) at S$599.

Novita is the Singapore specialist most people already know from its purifiers and water dispensers, and its dehumidifiers lean on after-sales service. The ND2+ is a dehumidifier and air purifier in one at S$398 (U.P. S$569): 13L a day, coverage up to 409 sq ft, H13 HEPA, plasma ions and UV-C, with a five-year warranty. Plain dehumidifiers run from the ND25 at S$480 and the ND30 at S$498 to the 50L ND80 at S$658. Bigger 2-in-1s are the ND26+ at S$528, the ND50+ at S$698 and the ND60i+ at S$798. Harvey Norman sells the same models at the same prices, and also carries the smaller ND12 at S$280, the cheapest Novita on either site.

LG's range is all inverter, which keeps noise and power draw down once the room reaches your target humidity. On lg.com/sg the 26L DD14GMWE0 is S$489, the 28L MD16GQSA1 with ioniser S$519, the 30L MD19GQGA1 S$559, the 28L DD16GMWE1 S$649 and the 34L DD20GMWE1 S$729. Those three cheapest models also take LG Member Days' 15% Online Exclusive Coupon, which runs to 30 September 2026 for signed-in LG members. One catch when you compare stores: LG rates its units at 30°C and 80% humidity, so the DD16GMWE1 that LG calls 28L is sold as a "16L" at Harvey Norman for the same S$649.

Mistral's ÉlanPure line, sold on the Mayer Group store, has the biggest price gap we found. The 35L smart model (MDH3505DW) is S$699 on mayer.sg and at COURTS, but S$499 at Harvey Norman (was S$799). It has a brushless DC motor, HEPA13 plus ioniser, UV and activated carbon, a 5L tank, Wi-Fi and coverage up to 70 sq m. The 16L smart model is S$349 and the 24L S$459 at both Mayer and Harvey Norman (the 16L is also S$349 at COURTS). The entry 3-in-1 12L (MDH1202D, up to 24 sq m) is S$249, but it showed sold out on mayer.sg on 23 September and was still listed at Harvey Norman and COURTS.

Sharp's DW-D12A-W is a straightforward bedroom unit: up to 12L a day for rooms up to 26 sq m, a pre-filter, a laundry mode and Sharp's Plasmacluster ion generator. It is S$349 (was S$429) in Sharp's own Mid Autumn Sale, and the same S$349 at Harvey Norman and COURTS, so there is nothing to chase between stores. For a living room, the DW-T30FE is a 30L 4-in-1 that also purifies and dries shoes and laundry, at S$649 (was S$799). The warranty is one year, the shortest in this guide.

Whirlpool's 20L DS202NF lists at S$479 on whirlpool.com.sg and at Harvey Norman, but COURTS sells it for S$329. It is built for drying clothes indoors: an independent laundry mode, auto swing, a 6L tank (one of the larger ones here), an ioniser and a washable pre-filter, with a two-year warranty. Whirlpool quotes 20L a day at 30°C and 80% humidity and 12.3L at 26.7°C and 60%, which is a useful reminder of how much the headline number depends on the test. The 24L Puri-Pro DS242HEHK adds five-stage filtration for S$589.

If you want app control for the least money, Midea's 16L MDDF-16DEN7 is S$284.60 at COURTS. It connects to the Midea Air app over Wi-Fi, has a 3L tank, auto restart after a power cut and a continuous-drain option, and Midea rates it at 16L a day at 30°C and 80% humidity. Midea has no Singapore online store of its own, so COURTS is the place to buy it; there is no brand promotion to claim.

Philips' Series 5000 DE5205/30 is a dehumidifier and air purifier in one, with five fan speeds from 1 to turbo. It is the priciest unit here at S$738 (was S$879) at both Harvey Norman and COURTS, and Philips sells its dehumidifiers through retailers rather than its own site. Buy it if the purifier matters as much as the dehumidifier; if not, the Novita ND2+ and EuropAce's EDH6300DGY do the same two jobs for S$398 and S$499.

Every price was read on 23 September 2026 off the brand's own Singapore store (europace.com.sg, estore.novita.com.sg, lg.com/sg, mayer.sg for Mistral, sharp.com.sg and whirlpool.com.sg) and off harveynorman.com.sg and courts.com.sg, not off a marketplace. Harvey Norman prices were cross-checked against each page's 12-month instalment figure. Midea and Philips publish no Singapore store price of their own, so they are priced at the two retailers. Cheaper no-name 12L units exist (Cornell and NNIO at S$178-S$179 at Harvey Norman), but they are not ranked here.
For most HDB bedrooms and living rooms, EuropAce gives the most for the money: its 30L smart dehumidifier (EDH3300DWH) is S$319 online with Wi-Fi, a carbon odour filter, a 4L tank and a drain hose. If you want a purifier built in and a long warranty, the Novita ND2+ at S$398 adds H13 HEPA and a five-year warranty. For a quiet inverter unit, LG's PuriCare range starts at S$489 and carries a 15% member coupon on three models until 30 September 2026.
Go by the room, not the flat. A 12L-a-day unit suits one bedroom of about 20-25 sq m (Mistral rates its 12L at up to 24 sq m, Sharp at 26 sq m). For a living room or a laundry area where you dry clothes indoors, 20L to 30L is the practical size. Only go to 35L or more for an open-plan space or a whole small flat with doors open. Remember that brands test at different conditions, so a "28L" LG and a "16L" listing can be the same machine.
No. The Climate Friendly Households Programme covers 12 product categories (air-conditioners, fridges, washing machines, clothes dryers, water heaters, DC fans, induction stoves, LED lights and water fittings), and dehumidifiers are not on the list. If drying laundry is the main reason you want one, a tick-rated clothes dryer does qualify, so compare the two before you buy.
It depends on the model, so check at least two stores. On 23 September 2026 the Mistral ÉlanPure 35L was S$499 at Harvey Norman but S$699 at COURTS and at Mistral's own Mayer store. The Whirlpool DS202NF 20L went the other way: S$329 at COURTS against S$479 at Harvey Norman and Whirlpool. EuropAce, Novita and Sharp were the same price at their own stores and at Harvey Norman.
