Singapore turns 61 on Sunday, 9 August 2026 — and the Singapore Flyer has quietly put two National Day tickets on its own site that only Singaporeans and PRs can buy: the SG61 Buddy Deal at $61 for two tickets (U.P. $92), and SG61 Sip and Soar at $61 for a premium Sling or champagne flight (U.P. $79).

SG61 Buddy Deal — $61 for two

The headline is simple: two Singapore Flyer tickets for $61, against the Flyer's own stated usual price of $92. That is $31 off, or roughly a third, and about $30.50 a head.

Nothing is stripped out to get there. Each ticket still includes:

  • Entry to Time Capsule — the pre-boarding walk-through that blends interactive exhibits and cinematic storytelling with a personalised web-app experience.
  • 1 rotation (30 minutes) aboard the Flyer in a shared capsule.
  • Access to the FLYER360 mobile app, downloaded via HiFlyer when you arrive — augmented-reality landmark spotting and AR photos from inside the capsule.

It is a two-ticket product, so there is no solo version of this deal.

SG61 Sip and Soar — $61 for a Sling or a champagne flight

The second SG61 ticket is the one to look at if you are marking an occasion rather than counting heads: $61 for one adult premium flight against a usual $79, and you pick either the Singapore Sling Experience or the Premium Champagne Experience.

On top of the standard inclusions, that adds priority boarding to skip the queues, a glass of champagne or a Singapore Sling, and a chocolate crafted by Singapore chocolatier Janice Wong.

Do the maths before you buy

This is the part the deal coverage tends to skip. The $92 usual price implies you are saving $15.50 a head — but that is not the price a local would otherwise pay.

  • Buddy Deal: about $30.50 a head.
  • Standard adult flight: from around $40.
  • Standard flight with a PAssion Card (up to 15% off): roughly $34.

So the Buddy Deal is still the cheapest way in for two locals — just by about $3.50 a head, not $15.50. The Flyer does not publish per-ticket prices on its product pages; they only appear inside its booking engine. Put both options in the cart and compare the final numbers before you commit.

The fine print

  1. Singapore Citizens and PRs only — and the wording matters: all ticket holders must present a Singapore Citizen NRIC or Singapore PR NRIC for verification upon admission, not just the person who paid.
  2. You cannot bring a visiting relative on the second ticket. A tourist, EP or LTVP holder needs a standard ticket.
  3. Shared capsule — this is the normal flight, not a private capsule.
  4. No published end date. Neither SG61 ticket page lists a cut-off; the Flyer's National Day materials describe the SG61 offers as valid through August 2026, so plan around Mon 31 August and confirm the window shown at checkout.
  5. Book on the Flyer's own site — both are listed as their own tickets, so you will not find them by adding a standard ticket to the cart.
