> Quick view: The OLIVE YOUNG K-Beauty Edit opens at Sephora Singapore on Wednesday 2 September 2026. Sephora's own site is already showing the Singapore range: 95 products from 12 Korean brands, priced $13 to $75, every one of them marked Coming Soon until launch day. Spend $65 on the Edit and you get an insulated tote, valid in stores, on the app and online. Spend $40 at the ION Orchard Launchpad only and you get a Tyvek pouch. And Sephora's own campaign banner carries one thing no news report picked up: Gold members get in from 8am, with gifts for the first 200 customers at Sephora ION Orchard, which is two hours before that mall normally opens.
Olive Young is the retailer that decides what Korea is buying. Walk into one of its Seoul stores and the shelves are a live readout of which ingredient is trending, which small brand has broken out, and which serum has gone from insider tip to mainstream. Until now, getting those products in Singapore meant a suitcase, a forwarding address or a reseller markup.
From Wednesday 2 September 2026, Sephora Singapore carries an Olive Young curated selection directly. It is part of a global Sephora and Olive Young partnership that launched in the United States in August 2026 and is now arriving in Southeast Asia, with Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand among the first markets in the region.
Here is what Singapore actually gets, at what price, and the launch-morning detail that is only on Sephora's own artwork.
The headline number is regional, not Singaporean
Every write-up of this launch quotes the same figures: over 20 Korean brands and more than 180 products. That number is correct, but it describes the range across Sephora stores in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand combined. It is not the Singapore count.
Sephora Singapore's own Olive Young page returns a different, smaller and much more useful figure. As of the evening of 1 September 2026, the page reports 95 Results, and those 95 products come from 12 brands. That is the range a Singapore shopper can actually put in a basket.
The gap matters if you are going in with a shopping list built off a Korean or American haul video. Roughly half the regional assortment is not on the Singapore page.
The full Singapore list: 12 brands, 95 products, $13 to $75
These are Sephora Singapore's own listed prices, read off its site on 1 September while every item still showed as Coming Soon.
The three brands most coverage left out of the Singapore list are haruharu wonder, HEVEBLUE and Ma:nyo. Ma:nyo in particular is where the cheapest items in the whole Edit sit.
Where the money is. REJURAN is the most expensive line on the page, with nothing under $28 and four items at $44 and above. Ma:nyo is the cheapest entry point, with two products at $13. The single most expensive item in the Edit is the BIOHEAL BOH Probioderm 3D Lifting Skincare Trio at $75, which is also the only single product that clears the $65 gift threshold on its own.
The launch-morning detail that is only on Sephora's banner
This is the part worth planning around, and it appears nowhere in the news coverage of the launch. It is printed on Sephora Singapore's own campaign banner on its Olive Young page:
> Gold Member Exclusives. Enjoy early access from 8AM and exclusive gifts for the first 200 customers at Sephora ION Orchard store. T&Cs apply. Valid while stocks last.
Two things follow from that.
8am is genuinely early. ION Orchard's own site lists the mall as open daily from 10am to 10pm, and Sephora's own store locator gives Sephora ION Orchard the same 10am to 10pm. So the Gold early access starts two hours before the store's normal opening. If you are going, treat it as a queue rather than a walk-in, and check Sephora's app or socials on the morning itself for which mall entrance is in use, because that is not published.
The gift is capped at 200 people, not at a spend. The banner ties the exclusive gifts to the first 200 customers at ION Orchard, which is a headcount limit. The pictured set is a lime Olive Young pouch with sachets and minis including Dr.Althea 345 Relief Cream, a haruharu wonder Black Rice sunscreen and a Ma:nyo Pure Soybean Cleansing Oil.
One honest caveat: Sephora's banner does not print a date next to the 8am. The only date Sephora publishes on that page is the 2 September launch, so launch morning is the obvious reading, but confirm on Sephora's channels before setting an alarm.
You also need to already be Gold on the day. Gold is Sephora's top Beauty Pass tier, and tier status is earned on past spend, so this is not something you can sign up for on the morning. We covered how Sephora gates its Gold-tier terms in the August Beauty Pass Sale.
Two gifts, two thresholds, and the lower one is harder to get
There are two gift-with-purchase offers, and they are not the same offer at different levels.
$65 spend, insulated tote. Spend $65 on Sephora x Olive Young K-Beauty Edit products and you get an exclusive insulated tote. Per Sephora's artwork this is the broad one, valid across Sephora stores, the app and the website. The banner reads: Get an exclusive Insulated Tote with min. spend $65 on OLIVE YOUNG. T&Cs apply. Valid while stocks last.
$40 spend, Tyvek pouch, ION Orchard only. Spend $40 at the ION Orchard Launchpad and you get a Tyvek pouch, while stocks last.
Note the inversion. The lower threshold is the one that requires the trip. If you are shopping online or at any Sephora other than ION Orchard, $40 buys you nothing extra and $65 is the only bar that matters.
Hitting $65 takes two items, not five. With Sephora's listed prices, ONGREDIENTS Skin Barrier Calming Lotion at $28 plus Celimax Pore and Dark Spot Brightening Cream at $37 lands on exactly $65. If you want the widest spread instead, Ma:nyo Pure Soybean Cleansing Foam and Galactomy Enzyme Peeling Gel at $13 each, plus Dr.Althea 345 Relief Cream Mist at $18 and the BIOHEAL BOH Probioderm 3D Lifting Cream Mask 5+1 Set at $21, also comes to exactly $65 across four products.
Hitting the $40 ION threshold takes one item. The Torhop Loyly Green Mud Collagen Mask is listed at exactly $40.
What Sephora has not published is whether the two gifts stack. A $65 basket bought at the ION Orchard Launchpad clears both thresholds on paper, but nothing on Sephora's page says you receive both, so do not count on it.
ION Orchard is one of only three Launchpads in the region
Sephora ION Orchard becomes one of three regional K-Beauty Discovery Launchpads, alongside Fahrenheit 88 in Kuala Lumpur and Siam Center in Bangkok. These are described as limited-time spaces built around trend edits, hero routines, beauty education, sampling and interactive experiences, so the pitch is sampling and explanation rather than just another shelf.
Sephora has not published how long the Launchpad runs. "Limited-time" is the only guidance on the record.
Sephora ION Orchard is at 2 Orchard Turn, #B2-09 to B2-15, open 10am to 10pm daily.
Where else you can buy it
The Edit is going into Sephora stores generally, plus the app and website. Sephora Singapore's own store locator currently lists these permanent stores:
The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Raffles City, Takashimaya S.C., Causeway Point, Bugis+, ION Orchard, NEX, VivoCity and Westgate, plus pop-ups at Tampines Mall and Plaza Singapura.
Sephora has not published a store-by-store breakdown of which outlets carry the full 95, so if you want a specific item rather than a browse, ION Orchard is the safe bet. Online, Sephora Singapore's standing terms give free shipping above $35, which the $65 gift threshold clears comfortably.
Two timing notes
The September school holidays run 5 to 13 September 2026, so Orchard Road gets materially busier from that Saturday. If you want the Launchpad without the crowd, the first three days are the quiet ones. See our school holidays guide for what else is on.
If you are driving, Orchard ERP restarts on 7 September 2026 at $1 on weekdays, 11am to 7pm, across 11 gantries. Full details in our Orchard ERP explainer.
What is not published yet
Being straight about the gaps:
- No end date for either gift. Both read "while stocks last" with no closing date on Sephora's page.
- No date printed beside the 8am Gold early access, and no stated entrance for the pre-opening queue.
- No confirmation that the $40 ION pouch and the $65 tote stack.
- No run length for the ION Orchard Launchpad beyond "limited-time".
- No per-store stock list, so no guarantee any given outlet carries all 95 items.
- Every product was still marked Coming Soon on 1 September, so the prices above are Sephora's pre-launch listings and could move at go-live.
We will update this page once Sephora publishes the missing dates.
