The offer
PastaMania's own What's On page puts it simply: a 1-for-1 on any pasta selection, so you can get two of your favourites for the price of one. The free plate is always the lower-value one, so you pay for the dearer pasta. All prices on PastaMania's dine-in menu are nett, so the price you see is the price you pay.
| Order (menu prices, nett) | Usual | On the 1-for-1 | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carbonara $13.50 + Beef Bolognese $9.90 | $23.40 | $13.50 | $9.90 |
| 2 x Seafood Tom Yum $14.50 | $29.00 | $14.50 | $14.50 |
| Marinara $14.20 + Aglio Olio $7.90 | $22.10 | $14.20 | $7.90 |
| 2 x Cheesy Crumble $7.90 | $15.80 | $7.90 | $7.90 |
Best value: pair two pastas at the same price. Two of the $14.50 fusion dishes (Seafood Tom Yum or Seafood Mala) save the most, a full $14.50.
What counts as "any pasta"
The menu splits pasta into two sections:
- Pasta Classica, $7.90 to $14.20: tomato (Arrabiata, Bolognese, Meatballs, Marinara, Vongole and more), aglio (Aglio Olio, Prawn Aglio, Chicken Bacon Aglio, Wild Mushroom Aglio) and creamy (Alfredo, Carbonara, Cheesy Crumble, Creamy Chicken, Truffle Mushroom Trio).
- Mamma Mia! fusion, $10.50 to $14.50: Basil Chicken Aglio, Otah Aglio, Salted Egg Chicken, Seafood Mala, Seafood Tom Yum, Seafood Zuppa, Laksa Vongole, Beef Yakiniku and Ebi Mentaiko.
The baked rice dishes are not pasta. The Truffle Mac & Cheese ($15.50) and Gorgonzola Cheese Beef Lasagna ($16.80) are pasta, but PastaMania's menu excludes those two from its usual 1-for-1 mains redemptions. Check at the counter before you count on them.
The fine print

Where it runs
14 outlets: Sengkang ActiveSG Sports Centre, Northpoint City, The Seletar Mall, Causeway Point, Hougang 1, JEM, Lot One, West Mall, Fusionopolis One, City Square Mall, Kallang Wave Mall, Tampines Mall, ESR BizPark @ Chai Chee and Paya Lebar Square.
Tips
- Go for lunch, not tea. Last orders are at 4.45pm, so a late-afternoon visit is cutting it close.
- Seniors on Monday 19 October: you cannot combine this with the 60+ 30% off. For two pastas the 1-for-1 usually wins. Eating alone, the 30% off is the only one that helps.
- Bring a fourth person. Two free pastas per table means a table of four gets the most out of a single bill.
- Add a set. The 1-for-1 covers the pasta only. A $6 Soup Set or a $5.50 Dessert Set is the cheap way to round it out.
- It is halal. PastaMania is MUIS halal-certified, which makes this one of the easier 1-for-1s for mixed groups.
