A new fast-food outlet opening in a suburban mall is not usually news. This one is, for two reasons: Lotteria is Korea's original burger chain and still has only one other store here, and its opening artwork carries a $2 price that is roughly a quarter of what the same burger costs at its Jewel outlet.

1. The two $2 days
Lotteria's opening poster splits the burger offer across two consecutive days, one burger each:

The Ria's Shrimp Burger is a crispy shrimp patty with tartar and Thousand Island sauce; the Ria's Bulgogi Burger is a beef patty in the sweet-savoury bulgogi sauce the chain is known for. Both are among Lotteria's signature items rather than throwaway promotional builds.
On the saving: Lotteria has not published a usual price next to the $2, which is the one weak point in the offer. For reference, Eatbook recorded the Ria's Shrimp Burger at $7.20 at the Jewel outlet. If Jurong Point prices match, $2 is about 72% off, or $5.20 saved. Confirm at the counter rather than treating $7.20 as gospel — a new outlet can price differently.
2. The cap is the whole story
The asterisk at the foot of the poster is the line that decides whether you get one:

Fifty per window, three windows, so about 150 burgers on each day. That is a very small number for a brand-new outlet sitting directly above Boon Lay MRT in a mall that serves the whole of Jurong West, on its opening day.
The practical reading: the windows open at 11am, 2pm and 5pm, and each one is realistically over within minutes of opening rather than lasting the full hour. If you want one, be there before the window starts — arriving at 11.30am for the 11am–12pm slot is very likely too late. The 2pm–3pm window is the softest of the three, sitting outside both lunch and dinner peaks.
3. The blind bag is the offer most people will actually get
Running quietly alongside, and much more winnable:
- Free limited-edition blind bag with a minimum $12 spent on a single bill
- 5 to 25 August 2026 — three full weeks
- Limited to one redemption per bill
- Nine designs to collect
- While stocks last
The designs shown on the artwork are small keychain-style charms — a burger, a fries carton and a drink cup among them. One per bill is the rule to plan around: a group ordering together on one receipt gets a single bag, so split the bills if everyone wants one. At $12, the threshold is roughly a set meal, so most orders clear it without padding.
4. The new menu arriving with it
Lotteria is using the opening for its biggest Singapore menu refresh so far, including its first Singapore-exclusive breakfast menu. The anchor is the K-Omelette — a Korean-style egg omelette stir-fried with vegetables, layered into soft, lightly sweet brioche buns:

New Korean burgers and desserts are also part of the refresh. From the existing menu, Eatbook recorded Gangjung Chicken at $9 for two pieces — Korean fried chicken in a light, crisp batter with a sweet-spicy glaze — and Shake Shake Nuggets with a choice of onion, cheese or chilli seasoning.
5. Where it is
Lotteria Jurong Point — JP2, #01-47, 1 Jurong West Central 2, Singapore 648886. Ground floor of the JP2 wing, above Boon Lay MRT (EW27).
This is Lotteria's second Singapore outlet, run locally by Katrina Group. The first is at Jewel Changi Airport #B1-248. The opening specials are Jurong Point only — the poster is headed "Jurong Point Opening Specials" and nothing on it extends to Jewel.
Tips
- Arrive before the window, not during it. 50 per slot at a new opening means the queue forms ahead of 11am, 2pm and 5pm. The 2pm slot is the least contested.
- Two different burgers, two different days. Shrimp on 5 Aug, Bulgogi on 6 Aug. There is no day where both are $2.
- Split bills for blind bags. One per bill, not per person — four $12 bills beat one $48 bill if you all want a charm.
- The blind bag is the low-stress option. Three weeks, no time windows, no 50-person cap. If the $2 queue looks hopeless, just eat and claim the bag.
- Don't assume the $7.20 reference price. Lotteria published no U.P. with this offer; check the menu board before deciding the burger is worth the trip on its own.
