Concert tickets in Singapore almost never go 1-for-1 — so this is the rare one worth acting on. Live Nation Singapore has launched a National Day campaign called "Double The Lobang", and the offer is exactly what the artwork says: a 1-for-1 ticket deal, unlocked with the promo code SGLOBANG at checkout on ticketmaster.sg.

> Quick view: 1-for-1 concert tickets · code SGLOBANG at ticketmaster.sg checkout · 27 Jul 2026, 10am – 31 Jul 2026, 11.59pm only · two shows: David Byrne (7 Aug, The Star Theatre) & The Click Five (29 Aug, Arena @ EXPO) · first-come, first-served, selected ticket categories only · excludes ticketing fee and booking charges.

What the deal is

Live Nation's own campaign page puts it plainly: *"Double your celebration this National Day with limited-time offers on the below concerts in Singapore only!"* The artwork underneath is unambiguous — "1-FOR-1 TICKET DEAL!", on sale JUL 27, 10AM – JUL 31, 11:59PM, enter code 'SGLOBANG' upon checkout.

There is no voucher to buy, no card requirement and no membership tier. The code is the whole mechanic.

The two eligible shows

1. David Byrne: Who Is The Sky? Tour

  • Friday 7 August 2026, 8pm
  • The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre
  • The Talking Heads frontman, with Singapore opening the Asian leg of what is billed as the final run of the tour. VIP packages (Gold Hot Ticket, Silver VIP) are sold separately.

2. The Click Five: For Lovers Tour

  • Saturday 29 August 2026, 8pm
  • Arena @ EXPO
  • The full nostalgia hit for anyone whose teenage playlist ran on *Just The Girl*. Ultimate VIP and Early Entry packages are also listed.

How to redeem it

  1. Go to livenation.sg/doublethelobang and pick one of the two shows — you'll be sent to ticketmaster.sg.
  2. Select your preferred ticket category.
  3. At checkout, enter the promo code 'SGLOBANG'.
  4. Complete the purchase.

If the code doesn't apply, the category you picked probably isn't in the promotion — try a different one before giving up.

The fine print

Straight from Live Nation's terms:

  • First-come, first-served. Tickets under this offer are allocated in that order.
  • 27 July 2026, 10am to 31 July 2026, 11.59pm, *while tickets last* — five days, and it can end sooner if the allocation goes.
  • Selected events and selected ticket categories only. Not every price tier qualifies, and VIP packages are normally outside deals like this.
  • The offer shown excludes ticketing fee and booking charges. At Ticketmaster Singapore that's S$6 per ticket on tickets S$1–100, S$8 on S$101–300 and S$10 on S$301 and above — and you're buying two tickets, so count it twice.
  • Full ticketing and event terms apply.

Worth knowing for the Byrne show specifically: maximum 6 tickets per transaction, no admission for infants in arms or children below 6 (everyone 6 and up needs a ticket), and no photography, videography or audio recording.

Is it worth it?

For a live show, a genuine 1-for-1 is about as good as Singapore gets — and unlike a card-linked dining promo, there's no minimum spend or bank requirement standing between you and it. Two things temper it. First, you don't know the discount in dollars until you're in the checkout, because Live Nation doesn't publish the category prices on its listing pages; the live prices on ticketmaster.sg are the only reference. Second, "selected ticket categories" is doing real work in those terms — the cheapest tiers on a 1-for-1 are exactly the ones that sell out first.

Tips

  1. Go early in the window. Two shows, five days, first-come first-served. There is no second wave.
  2. Try more than one category. If SGLOBANG doesn't apply to the tier you picked, that tier just isn't in the promotion — it doesn't mean the deal is over.
  3. Budget the booking fee on both tickets. A 1-for-1 halves the ticket, not the S$6–10 per-ticket charge.
  4. Split it with someone before you buy. The value only lands if the second seat gets used — settle who's coming first.
