IKEA Singapore has quietly put a National Day menu on its own IKEA Family food page — and like everything else at the Swedish Restaurant, the advertised price is the member price. Scan the (free) card and the SG61 Combo is $14.90; don't, and it's $17.80.

> Quick view: SG61 Combo $14.90 (U.P. $17.80) · Chilli Crab Mantou Trio $4.90 (U.P. $5.90) · both 1–31 Aug · D24 durian from $3.90 but ENDS 10 AUG · plant balls combo $6.90 dine-in · IKEA Family price only, membership free · Alexandra, Tampines & Jurong · while stocks last · Crayfish Party 14/21 Aug SOLD OUT.

The two SG61 items (1–31 August)

  • SG61 Combo — $14.90 (U.P. $17.80). A breaded pork cutlet with fries, a fried mantou served with chilli crab sauce, and a bowl of mushroom soup. It's the most literal reading of a Singapore-Swedish mashup on the menu, and at $2.90 off it's the biggest absolute saving of the National Day pair.
  • Chilli Crab Mantou Trio — $4.90 (U.P. $5.90). Three pieces of fried mantou with the same chilli crab sauce, sold on its own. This is the one to order if you're not hungry enough for a main — it's a snack, not a meal.

Both run 1–31 August 2026, while stocks last.

The bit with a real deadline: D24 durian, till 10 August

Three items, all IKEA Family prices, and all gone after Monday 10 August — the day after National Day:

ItemFamily priceU.P.
D24 Durian Cheese Tart$3.90$4.50
D24 Durian Mousse in a Cup$3.90$4.50
D24 Durian Cream Cake$4.90$5.50

Five days, over a long weekend, on durian desserts. Go on a weekday afternoon if you have the choice.

Cheaper than people expect, and running longer

  • Plant Balls Combo — $6.90 (U.P. $8.40): plant balls, mashed potato, mixed vegetables with green soya beans, cream sauce, lingonberry jam and a green salad. Dine-in only, 1 July–31 August. Per dollar this is the best full plate in the building.
  • Baked Chicken Chop — $12.90 (U.P. $15.40) on IKEA Tampines' halal line: with aglio olio, mixed vegetables and a chocolate hazelnut cake. Dine-in only, 1 July–30 September.
  • Specialty hot beverages — $1.50 a cup (U.P. $1.90) at Tampines: latte, cappuccino, mocha or hot chocolate. Cheaper than the kopitiam next door.
  • Fika — $2.90 (U.P. $5.40), 3–5pm daily: crunchy almond chocolate cake plus a coffee or tea. Nearly half off, every single day.
  • Student Saver Meals — $5.50, weekdays 2–5pm (excluding public holidays), 1 July–31 August: two combos, each including dessert and a refillable drink. Dine-in only, and you need a valid student ID from NUS, NTU, SMU, SUSS, SUTD, SIT or SIM.

The Crayfish Party is sold out — don't make the trip for it

IKEA's Kräftskiva Crayfish Party buffet was set for 14 August at Tampines and Alexandra and 21 August at Jurong, 6pm–9pm (last order 8.45pm), with a $10 home furnishing voucher for every adult diner. Tickets went on sale 13 July at the Swedish Restaurant checkout counters, capped at four per IKEA Family membership — and IKEA's own page now says "Tickets are all sold out." Several roundups still list it as available; it isn't.

The fine print

  1. Every price here is an IKEA Family price. Membership is free and open to anyone — join online at ikea.com/sg or at the store before you order.
  2. While stocks last on all of it, and the durian window is only five days.
  3. Dine-in only on the plant balls combo, the baked chicken chop and the student meals.
  4. Store scope: the SG61 items, durian and plant balls run at IKEA Alexandra (317 Alexandra Road), IKEA Tampines (60 Tampines North Drive 2) and IKEA Jurong (Jem, 50 Jurong Gateway Road). The baked chicken chop and $1.50 drinks are Tampines only.
  5. Restaurant hours: Alexandra and Tampines 10am–9.30pm weekdays (last order 9pm), 9am–10pm weekends (last order 9.30pm); Jurong 10am–9.30pm daily (last order 9pm).

How to actually save the most

The headline combo isn't the best value here — stacking the small stuff is. A $4.90 mantou trio plus the $2.90 fika gets two people a sit-down snack with a hot drink for $7.80 total. Add the $6.90 plant balls combo and you have a proper dinner for two under $15, at member prices, in an air-conditioned restaurant, over the long weekend.
