FairPrice Group held the official grand opening of FairPrice Elias Mall on Sunday 20 September 2026, at Block 623 Elias Road, #B1-01, a few minutes from Pasir Ris MRT. The store itself is not brand new: it has been trading since 1 September. What makes it worth a look is the format rather than the ribbon.

What FairPrice actually changed
FairPrice calls this an "always-on wet market". In practice that means two things. First, opening hours: the store runs 24 hours, and FairPrice's own store locator lists it as trading 00:00 to 23:59, seven days a week. Second, the floor plan: nearly half the space goes to fresh, chilled and frozen, against around a third at a typical FairPrice Super Store, per the company's release.
The centrepiece is what FairPrice says is its largest seafood ice bed, 24 feet long and two tiers, with live seafood beside it. There is a dedicated pork counter selling Malaysian pork that is imported live and butchered locally, plus high-density produce displays and seasonal "Catch of the Day" seafood prices that exist only in the store.
Two service details matter more than the fixtures:
- Fresh Service Ambassadors are on the floor during the 8am to 10am morning peak for product recommendations and cooking tips
- A number-token system lets you keep shopping while your seafood is prepared, and portioning and vacuum-packing are free on request
The food you can eat straight away
The store carries $5 hot chicken bentos and freshly prepared sushi, including a Fruit Series that FairPrice lists as exclusive to Elias Mall. That is the 24-hour angle doing real work for shift workers and late finishers, a group Pasir Ris has plenty of given the airport and the industrial estates east of it.
Unity's "East meets West" wellness zone
The in-store Unity carries a new holistic wellness concept pairing Western supplements with Eastern remedies. Three things there are free to walk in and use:
- A complimentary three-minute body composition analysis
- AI-powered wellness recommendations through a tool FairPrice calls Wellness Genie
- Personalised guidance from an on-site Unity pharmacist
Weekly brand showcases, sampling and health education sessions run alongside it.
The stamp card is the thing to plan around
This is the only mechanic here with real money attached, and it has a cap that decides everything.

Work the arithmetic and the cap bites. Nine stamps needs $270 of qualifying spend, and because no transaction yields more than three stamps, you cannot get there in one shop. The efficient route is three separate receipts of $90 or more. Receipts cannot be combined, incomplete cards are not accepted, and the original card has to be presented at the cashier.
The exclusion list is long enough to change your basket: BCRS container deposits, cigarettes, 4D, Singapore Sweep and TOTO, FairPrice gift vouchers and gift cards, carrier bags and membership fees, infant milk powder for 0 to 12 months, prescription, pharmacy-only and over-the-counter medicines, and donation products all fall outside qualifying spend. Gifts are while stocks last, and the card is non-renewable once it expires on 1 November.

What it means for you
If you live in Pasir Ris, the honest read is that this is a better fresh-food store than a cheaper one. FairPrice's usual value programmes still apply here and nowhere else in the story is there a permanent price cut: weekly promotions, Link member benefits, senior discounts and the doubled 6% CHAS discount that runs to 1 January 2027, which lands on Thursdays for CHAS Blue and Fridays for CHAS Orange. What is genuinely new is the free vacuum-packing, the token system that stops you queueing, the live seafood and pork counters, and the fact that all of it is available at 2am.
If you do not live nearby, the store-exclusive items are the only reason to travel: the Fruit Series sushi, the Catch of the Day seafood prices and the stamp card. Everything else is a normal FairPrice shop.
