Every price here was read on the brand's own Singapore store on 9 October 2026: apple.com/sg (and its education store), samsung.com/sg, mi.com/sg and lenovo.com/sg. Apple raised iPad prices in Singapore in June 2026, so prices in older reviews are out of date. Retailers such as COURTS, Challenger and Harvey Norman sometimes undercut brand stores during sales, so compare before you pay. We left out the Galaxy Tab S10 FE because its only offer ended on 9 October, and Huawei because its Singapore site does not list prices.
For most people it is the 11-inch iPad (A16) at S$649, or S$619 with Apple's education pricing. Android users who want a flagship should look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ from S$1,698, which has S$100 off through Samsung Registration+ until 6 November 2026. On a tighter budget, the Xiaomi Pad 8 is S$599 and the Lenovo Idea Tab with pen is S$339.
On Apple's Singapore store on 9 October 2026, the iPad (A16) starts at S$649, the iPad mini at S$849, the iPad Air (M4) at S$1,149 and the iPad Pro (M5) at S$1,799. Education pricing takes these to S$619, S$779, S$1,069 and S$1,649. Apple raised iPad prices in Singapore in June 2026.
Lenovo's Idea Tab with Pen and Folio Case was S$339 (was S$519) in its 10.10 sale on 9 October 2026, with an 11-inch 2.5K screen and 128GB storage. The REDMI Pad 2 Pro is S$369 (was S$399) with a bigger 12.1-inch screen, and mi.com takes another S$35 off a S$200 spend until 17 October 2026.
A tablet with a stylus and parental controls is enough. The S$649 iPad (S$619 with education pricing) is the safest choice if the school uses iPad apps. For Android, Lenovo's S$339 Idea Tab already includes a pen and folio case. Check your child's school device requirements first, since some schools specify the platform.
