A new phone in Singapore now costs anything from S$469 to over S$3,000, and Apple, Samsung and Google all priced their 2026 flagships higher than last year. We read eight phones' prices and live offers on the brands' own Singapore stores on 10 October, from the iPhone 18 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra to the Pixel 10a and Xiaomi's 10.10 cut on the REDMI Note 17 Pro.
Decide on iPhone or Android first, then set a budget, then pick the phone.
> Quick view: best iPhone is the iPhone 18 Pro from S$1,899; best value Android is the Pixel 11 at S$1,299; the cheapest phone worth buying is the REDMI Note 17 Pro at S$469, but that price ends 17 October.
How to choose
- Stay on your platform unless you have a reason to switch. Moving from iPhone to Android (or back) means re-buying apps, moving chats and losing AirDrop or Quick Share. Samsung's Smart Switch and Google's switching tool make the move easier, but it still takes an evening.
- Do not pay for a camera you will not use. The S$1,949 to S$2,928 phones on this list earn their price with zoom lenses. If you mostly shoot food and friends, a Pixel 10a or iPhone 17e takes good enough photos for far less.
- Count the charger. Google sells the 45W adapter separately, and so does Apple. Xiaomi still puts a 67W charger in the REDMI box.
- Telco or brand store? Buying outright from the brand and pairing it with a SIM-only plan is usually cheaper over two years than a contract bundle. Our telco guide below compares the plans.
- Trade in before you sell. Samsung's trade-in can take over S$1,000 off a flagship. Compare that with what Carousell buyers offer for your old phone before you decide.
How we checked
Every price here was read on the brand's own Singapore store on 10 October 2026: apple.com/sg, samsung.com/sg, store.google.com/sg, oppo.com/sg and mi.com/sg. Prices include GST. Retailers such as COURTS, Challenger and Harvey Norman, and the telcos, sometimes undercut brand stores during sales, so compare before you pay. We left out phones that were out of stock in every storage size on 10 October, such as the Galaxy A57 at its S$678 entry price.
