The problem for a first-timer is that court rates swing wildly: the same 60 minutes costs $30 at a mini court in Bedok, $40 at lunchtime on an open-air court at one-north, and $108 on a fully air-conditioned court at the Expo. One thing almost nobody spells out: those cheap daytime rates are weekday rates, and most clubs here charge peak all day at weekends, with Ricochet and the padel co. One North the only exceptions. The answer to the one complaint every Singapore padel player has: the heat. Padel X at ARENA@EXPO, 9 Somapah Road, Hall 7 is the country's only fully indoor, fully air-conditioned padel facility, with 5 premium courts (PRO X1-X5, X1 being the centre court), a lounge and a curated HEAD pro shop, three minutes from Expo MRT exit C. Rates are the highest here and that is the point, but they step up in three stages rather than two: $78 an hour for any slot starting from opening at 8am up to a 4pm start, $93 for the 4.30pm shoulder, then $108 an hour (or $162 for 90 minutes) from 5pm. Starting at 4pm instead of 5pm therefore saves $30 on the same court. Note that the aircon runs from 10.45am, so the earliest morning slots are cooler but not chilled. For beginners it is also one of the best-organised clubs: the Intro To Padel class is $58, the Beginner I (Learn to Play) course and Master the Glass clinics are $86 each, and there are regular Americano tournaments at around $50 per entry plus social matches you can join solo. Open daily 8am-11pm, booked through Playtomic. BEST FOR: anyone who has tried an outdoor court in the afternoon and swore never again, and beginners who want a proper coached start in comfort.

If you want the widest choice of slots and the most competitive scene, this is the one. Prime Padel runs two Singapore sites: 7 outdoor courts at 9A Sherwood Road in Dempsey, and 3 rooftop courts on Level 6 of the Grand Copthorne Waterfront at 392 Havelock Road, less than 15 minutes from the CBD. Prime publishes its rate card openly, and the numbers are more precise than 'about $60': a court is $62 an hour ($93 for 90 minutes) at non-peak and $104 an hour ($156 for 90 minutes) at peak, all inclusive of the 9% GST since 1 March 2026. The catch is how narrow non-peak is: it runs Monday to Thursday, 11am to 4pm only. Friday is charged at peak all day, as are weekends and public holidays, so the cheap rate is a Monday-to-Thursday lunchtime deal and nothing else. A Prime Plus membership is $350 a year for regulars, and it is better value than it looks: it includes one complimentary all-day 60-minute court session worth $100, a free racquet rental per visit, unlimited ice bath access, and 10% off peak-hour court bookings and your own share of peak open matches. Read the small print first, though. Prime Plus subscriptions bought on or after 17 July 2026 renew automatically every year unless you cancel before the renewal date, and the fee is non-refundable. The club also runs Prime Academy coaching for ages 3 to 16 as well as adult programmes. If you have never held a racquet, the trial group lesson is $90 a head for 90 minutes and starts with a minimum of two people. The competitive draw is the Prime League, whose first season runs its group stage from 7 September to 15 November 2026 across both the Dempsey and Copthorne sites, with the finals weekend in late November or early December. It cost $185 a player for the group stage (four matches guaranteed) and $150 for the finals, across six divisions including two women's divisions, with Prime Plus members getting $15 off the group stage and $10 off the finals. The most photogenic padel you can book in Singapore, and one of the longest-running operators here. Ricochet has three sites open and a fourth on the way: Sentosa at Amara Sanctuary Resort, 1 Larkhill Road (open since June 2023, with free indoor parking at the MICE block and a free hotel shuttle), Laguna at Laguna National Golf Resort Club, 11 Laguna Golf Green, Orchard at Pullman Singapore Orchard, 270 Orchard Road, which opened on 14 April 2026 right across from Somerset MRT, and a new club at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel Clarke Quay listed on Ricochet's own site as opening in September 2026, which will be the first padel courts in the Clarke Quay and Boat Quay stretch. Pricing is set club-wide and published openly, which is refreshing: peak (7am-12noon and 4-10pm) is $92 an hour or $138 for 90 minutes, off-peak (12noon-4pm) is $78.20 an hour or $117.30 for 90 minutes, and racquet rental is $10 an hour or $15 for 90 minutes. All sites run 7am-10pm, seven days, and the club hosts open play sessions for all levels so you can turn up without a full four. One thing to note if you are price-hunting: Ricochet's off-peak window is 12noon to 4pm every day, weekends included, which makes it one of the very few clubs in this guide where a Saturday afternoon is not charged at full peak. The most distinctive-looking club in Singapore, and a genuinely good beginner environment. Pickle Padel Movement sits inside the PUB Recreation Club at 48 Woodleigh Park, an 11-minute walk from Woodleigh MRT (or bus 155 or 13 from Exit B, alighting at S'pore Power Trg Inst). It has 3 sheltered padel courts finished in striking blue, pink and purple, alongside 5 outdoor pickleball courts, so a mixed group can split across both sports. Court rates are $75 an hour off-peak (Mon-Fri 7am-5pm) or $112.50 for 90 minutes, with an $85 shoulder rate at 4.30pm, rising to $95 an hour or $142.50 for 90 minutes at peak (Mon-Fri from 5pm, weekends and public holidays). The beginner route here is clear and well priced: the Introduction to Padel Clinic is $56 for non-members and $50.40 for members, and the club runs a full course ladder beyond that, right up to coach certification. A Padel Enthusiasts membership is $320 a year. Book on Playtomic. BEST FOR: north-east and central residents, first-timers who want a structured clinic, and groups mixing padel with pickleball.

The value pick, and the one with a reason to feel good about the booking fee. Love All Sports at 170 West Coast Road runs 7 open-air courts covering padel, pickleball and football, open daily 7am-10pm, and on weekdays it charges a flat $45 an hour for every slot starting between 7am and 4pm. Split four ways that is about $11 a person, and there is no cheaper-still early-morning tier to hunt for. The qualifier matters more here than anywhere else in this guide: that flat rate is a weekday rate only. On Saturdays and Sundays Love All charges $80 an hour, $120 for 90 minutes or $160 for two hours, from opening to close, so the club that is comfortably the best value midweek is a fairly ordinary price at the weekend. Weekday evenings are where it gets strange: Love All stops selling 60-minute slots after 4pm and switches to blocks, and those blocks are not priced in a straight line. A 90-minute block starting at 5pm is $160, but a two-hour block starting at 4.30pm is $112.50 and a two-hour block starting at 4pm is $105. Booking an hour earlier and playing thirty minutes longer costs $55 less. Price the two-hour blocks before you take the 5pm ninety. One thing the club does not publish: it also has pickleball and football courts, but only padel is listed on Playtomic, and there is no pickleball rate card on the site, so that price has to be checked in the Love All app. It is run as a social sports club with an explicit mission: a percentage of every game played is donated to programmes supporting employment and employability for special-needs students after they graduate, so the cheapest court here is also the one doing the most good. Being open-air and in the west it is best in the morning or after dark; the 7-court spread means you can usually still find a slot when the smaller clubs are full, and it is an easy pick for a big group who want several courts at once. The newest big opening on this list and the north-east's answer to a two-hour trip across the island. The Sports Arina @ Jalan Kayu at 20A Fernvale Road opened in July 2026 as one of Singapore's largest privately operated multi-sport venues, and its 3 sheltered padel double courts come with huge ceiling fans, a meaningful upgrade on a plain open-air court without paying full aircon prices. The rest of the complex covers pickleball, futsal, badminton, a heated training pool and a multi-purpose hall, so it works as a family destination rather than a single-sport stop. Rates are $50 an hour non-peak (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) and $90 an hour peak (Mon-Fri 5-10pm, weekends and public holidays) for the public, with an unadvertised $70 shoulder rate for a 4.30pm start that sits between the two. The local twist: residents of the Jalan Kayu SMC can get verified at the booking office on site and unlock 10-20% off most facilities, which brings padel down to $40 non-peak and $81 peak. Open daily 8am-11pm, booked through Playtomic. BEST FOR: Sengkang, Fernvale, Punggol and Yishun players tired of travelling, and families combining padel with a swim or futsal.

Three sites with completely different personalities, and the best answer if your only free time is late at night, or the middle of the day. The Padel Co Changi sits inside the Changi Beach Club Sports Complex at 350 Cranwell Road, with 3 uncovered doubles courts (plus 2 pickleball courts) where padel is $50 an hour for any weekday start up to 5pm, $60 for a 5.30pm start and $70 from 6pm, with the whole weekend charged at a flat $70. That $50 window runs an hour later than the club's own 'weekdays 8am to 6pm' shorthand implies. Unusually for Singapore it stays open until midnight daily, so a 10pm or 11pm game is genuinely bookable after a late shift, and at $70 the late slot is still cheaper than most clubs' peak. The Padel Co Reserve is the polar opposite: 3 rooftop courts on Level 6B of Fortune Centre at 190 Middle Road in Bugis, with a cafe and shower facilities, priced at $80 an hour off-peak and $100 at peak, or from about $120 for 90 minutes. The third and least-known site is the padel co. One North at Ayer Rajah Crescent, inside the Singapore Recreation Club grounds, open 7am to midnight every day, and it is the one to book if you are chasing the lowest price in Singapore. Its weekday rate slides through the day rather than sitting in two bands: $88 first thing, $77 at 9.30am, $66 through the late morning, $53 at 12.30pm and then $40 an hour for starts from 1pm to 3pm, before climbing back to $64 at 3.30pm, $88 from 4pm and $99 at 6pm. That $40 lunchtime hour is the cheapest full doubles court we found anywhere on the island, West Coast included, but it is strictly a weekday rate: at weekends the slide is much shallower and bottoms out at $66 in the early afternoon. Between the three you get the cheapest late-night padel, the cheapest lunchtime court and one of the most convenient city-centre rooftops, all on the same booking account. All three are booked through Playtomic. The cheapest way to get a racquet in your hand, and a smart one for two people rather than four. Play! Padel Bedok at 200 Bedok North Avenue 1 runs a fully sheltered setup with one standard doubles court and one mini court. The mini court is the headline: $30 an hour on weekdays 7am-5pm and $40 an hour evenings and weekends, which is the lowest court rate in this guide and ideal for a pair who want to drill, or for a beginner who wants to get used to playing the ball off the glass without four people waiting. The full doubles court is $60 an hour off-peak and $80 at peak, still comfortably below the city-centre clubs. Everything is under a roof, so a downpour does not end your session, and being in the east it is an easy pick from Bedok, Tampines and Simei. Play! Padel is really a coaching operator that teaches across a string of partner venues, but Jurong Gateway is the other one where it publishes its own court rates, and they are worth knowing: 6 outdoor doubles courts, open 7am to 10pm, at $44 an hour non-peak (Mon-Fri 7am-5pm) and $63 an hour at peak, booked by WhatsApp rather than an app. That makes it the cheapest full-size court in the west outside Love All, and the second-cheapest full doubles court in this guide. Bedok is booked through Playtomic or CourtReserve; check which the site is pointing at before you turn up. BEST FOR: two-player sessions, absolute beginners easing in cheaply, and east-siders who do not want to pay CBD rates.

The two exceptions worth knowing: Ricochet keeps its 12noon-4pm off-peak window at $78.20 seven days a week, weekends included, and Play! Padel Bedok's mini court stays at $40 an hour, which makes it the cheapest weekend court of any kind in this guide.
Nearly every club charges 30-50% less before 4pm or 5pm on weekdays, and several have a shoulder tier in between that nobody advertises. The same Padel X court is $78 at 4pm, $93 at 4.30pm and $108 at 5pm; The Sports Arina goes $50, $70, $90 across the same ninety minutes; Pickle Padel Movement goes $75, $85, $95; The Padel Co Changi goes $50, $60, $70; and Play! Padel Bedok's doubles court is $60 to a 4.30pm start, $70 at 5.30pm and $80 after that. Starting an hour earlier is often a bigger saving than switching clubs.
The narrowest off-peak window belongs to Prime Padel, and it is worth spelling out: its $62 rate applies Monday to Thursday, 11am to 4pm only. Friday is charged at the full $104 all day, as are weekends and public holidays.

Love All Sports is the odd one out, and in the reader's favour. For something lower-commitment, Padel X runs Americano-format tournaments most weeks: its Silver (solid intermediates) and Gold (3.5-4.5+) Americanos and the women-only Queens Ladder were all listed at $50 on 16 September 2026, and you enter solo and are matched into a game. Ricochet, Prime Padel and Padel X also run open play sessions if you simply cannot find three friends.

The one rule worth learning: almost every club charges 30-50% less before 4pm or 5pm on weekdays, and only Ricochet (12noon-4pm) and the padel co. One North keep a cheaper window at weekends, so a weekday lunchtime or morning game is by far the cheapest way to play regularly.
You can book one, but it is not the best way to start. Padel is played inside a glass-and-mesh cage where the ball stays live off the walls, the serve must be underarm and below waist height, and the scoring is borrowed from tennis, so a group of complete beginners with rented racquets usually spends the hour chasing balls rather than rallying.
