A homegrown salon group founded in 2011, and it has grown since our last check: alongside Orchard Central, Haji Lane and KINEX it now runs a fourth outlet at Bedok Mall (311 New Upper Changi Road #B1-30A). Its own site leads on colour work, with separate menus for Creative Stylists and the more senior Master & Leading Stylists, plus NIOXIN programmes for thinning hair and treatments aimed at wavy, frizz-prone hair, which is very useful in Singapore humidity. Those menus are published as images without prices, so you still have to ask for a quote at consultation. What is published is the money off. First-time customers can claim S$50 in free store credit, though read the conditions: weekdays only, appointment required, valid 60 days, not for anyone 16 or under, and not combinable with other promotions. A S$19 a year 'let's be friends' membership gets unlimited free fringe cuts, 10 percent off all hair services, 20 percent off when you bring a companion (for both of you) and up to 40 percent off in your birthday month. Truefitt & Hill's Singapore barbershop at 9 Ann Siang Road has permanently closed. The world's oldest barber brand appeared on most Singapore barbershop lists for years, including an earlier version of this one. Its Singapore web address now redirects to the brand's Malaysian site, its online booking listing has been taken down, and its Google listing is marked permanently closed. The Malaysian shop still delivers the grooming products to Singapore free of charge, but the only Truefitt & Hill chairs you can now book are across the Causeway.
