TungLok Is Selling Its Premium Deep-Sea Golden Croaker at 61% Off for SG61 — Across 7 Restaurant Brands, 12 Outlets (Till 31 Aug 2026)

TungLok Group has put its premium Deep-Sea Golden Croaker — the fish it brands as TungLok Fish 同乐鱼 — at 61% off for Singapore's 61st birthday, and unusually for a National Day gimmick this one is not a token side dish: it runs across seven of the group's restaurant brands and 12 outlets, from Tóng Lè Private Dining at OUE Tower down to TungLok Teahouse at Square 2, in a spread of styles (pan-fried, deep-fried, braised, and in porridge). The fish is wild-bred in deep-sea waters and fully traceable, which is the part that normally lands it on the premium half of a Chinese menu. Two things the artwork doesn't tell you: TungLok has not published the fish's usual price anywhere, so you can only judge the 61% at the table — and the offer explicitly cannot be stacked with TungLok Membership Privileges, which means TungLokFirst members have to choose between this and the group's other running perk (50% off one signature dish daily till 30 Sep). What's on offer

TungLok describes the croaker as wild-bred in pristine deep-sea waters and fully traceable, with "naturally sweet, delicate flesh and clean taste, with no muddy flavour" — the qualities that normally park a whole croaker on the expensive half of a Chinese menu. Rather than one set dish, the group says each brand is running its own creations, spanning pan-fried, deep-fried, braised, and served in porridge, "with even more to discover."

That breadth is what makes this more interesting than the average SG61 price gimmick: you can have the same discounted fish as a fine-dining course at Tóng Lè Private Dining, as a seafood-restaurant main at TungLok Seafood, or as comfort-food porridge at TungLok Teahouse.

The date is inconsistent on TungLok's own page: the listing badge and the T&Cs say 31 August 2026, the body copy says 30 August 2026. Plan for the 30th.
No usual price is published. The campaign page states 61% off but never says off what — and the group's menus don't list the croaker either. Ask for the price when you order. That's the one soft spot in an otherwise well-documented promo.

TungLok also reserves the right to amend the terms without prior notice. The practical answer: plan for 30 August as your last safe day, and if you're going right at the end, call the outlet first — the numbers are on each brand's page, e.g. Lao Beijing at 6358 4466 and TungLok Teahouse at 6893 1123, both at Square 2. Realistically the bigger constraint isn't the date but the stock: it's a whole premium fish sold whilst stocks last, so book a table rather than turning up.
