Sushidan opens its second Singapore outlet at Parkway Parade on Friday 5 September 2026, and the reason it matters is the price floor rather than the ribbon. This is the Tokyo sushi-ya attached to MICHELIN-starred Chef Hiroyuki Sato, the man behind Ginza's Hakkoku and formerly head chef at Sushi Tokami, selling omakase-style sets from $19.90++.

The offer, and what it is actually worth
One dated promotion rides with the opening. Order any omakase course and you can add 30g of premium Hokkaido nama uni, served with toasted seaweed, for $18.80++ instead of the usual $38.80++. It runs 5 to 30 September 2026, it is exclusive to Parkway Parade, and it is while stocks last, with the uni variety able to rotate with the season.

Sea urchin is the single item most likely to double a sushi bill in Singapore, so a $20 cut on a 30g portion is the largest number on this menu by some distance. It is also the only part of the opening with an end date, which is why it is worth booking the trip inside September rather than in October.
The everyday menu is the real story
The promotion expires. The price list does not, and it is what makes an east-side detour worth the effort:

The Goshoku Set at $19.90++ is the entry point, and it is not a token one. It carries a seasonal chawanmushi, a chef's appetiser, three ochoko mini dons, a sushi platter, a negitoro hand roll and miso soup. The Aburi version is the same set torched. The Nanairo Set at $29.90++ steps up to seven courses.
The catches worth knowing before you go
- Every price is ++. A 10% service charge goes on first, then 9% GST on the total, so the multiplier is 1.199. The $19.90++ set is $23.86 in your hand and the $29.90++ set is $35.85. Budget in nett, not in the number on the poster.
- The uni is a supplement, not a dish. The published condition is that you must order an omakase course to add it. All three sets are marketed as omakase-style, but whether the cheapest $19.90++ Goshoku Set qualifies is the question to ask at the counter, because it is the difference between a $38.70++ total and a $48.70++ one.
- Parkway Parade only. The Raffles City flagship keeps the menu but not the offer.
- About 35 seats, roughly half the size of the Raffles City room. The outlet opens on the Friday of the 5 to 13 September school holidays, so the first weekend is the worst one to try to walk in.
- While stocks last on the uni, and the variety can change with the season. Sea urchin supply is genuinely seasonal, so a late-September visit is not guaranteed the same thing an early-September one gets.
- Sushidan is not halal-certified.

Parkway Parade puts the second outlet within walking distance of the Marine Parade stretch and a short ride from the East Coast, which is the point: until now the only way to eat this menu was a trip into town.
