Sushi Plus — the sit-down sister brand of Sushi Express — has brought back its All-You-Can-Eat, and priced it straight into the National Day gimmick: $61 nett for 2 pax, over 130+ varieties, on Tuesdays in August only.

What you actually get
- $61 nett for 2 pax — $30.50 a head, and because it is nett, that is the final bill. No 9% GST, no 10% service charge added at the till.
- Over 130 varieties — not just sushi. The deal covers mains and sides too, which is where the value hides: aburi nigiri, rolls and cooked items that would each cost several dollars à la carte.
- A complimentary portion of thick-cut salmon sashimi — thrown in on top of the buffet itself.
- A 3rd pax for an additional $35 nett — useful for a trio, but see the maths below before you assume it is a bargain.
The dates, and the one that matters today
The promotion runs on every Tuesday in August 2026: the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. The 4th has already gone, so three dates remain — and today, Tuesday 11 August, is one of them.
That Tuesday-only structure is the main constraint. There is no weekend version of this deal, and no dinner version either.
The fine print worth reading twice
- Last entry is 5pm. The service window is 12pm–6pm, but the door closes at 5pm. This is a lunch and early-dinner promotion — turning up at 5:30pm will not get you seated.
- 60 minutes at the table. Enough time, but only if you order in waves from the moment you sit rather than placing one enormous first order and waiting.
- Two outlets only. Tampines 1 and 313@Somerset (313 Orchard Road, #B3-28/29). Sushi Plus's Bugis Junction branch is *not* participating — the brand's own artwork says "exclusively at Tampines 1 & 313@somerset". This is the easiest way to waste a trip.
- The 3rd pax costs more, not less. $35 nett for the third diner is above the $30.50 a head the first two pay. Three people pay $96 nett, or $32 each.
- Nett means nett. Unusually for a sit-down Japanese restaurant deal, there is nothing added at the end.
- Not halal-certified. Sushi Plus, like the rest of the Sushi Express group, does not hold MUIS halal certification.
Is it worth it? Do this quick sum
Sushi Express white plates are $1.50++ each, or about $1.79 nett. At $30.50 nett a head, you need roughly 17 plates in 60 minutes to break even on volume alone.
That is a reasonable target for a hungry adult, but it is not the strongest argument for the deal. The better one is range: with 130+ items unlocked, the sensible play is to ignore the cheap white plates entirely and work through the expensive end — aburi, salmon belly, rolls, and the cooked mains and sides — which is where $30.50 nett genuinely beats à la carte.
If you are a light eater, dining with small children, or want a relaxed meal, you will do better ordering normally at a Sushi Express outlet.
Tips for the 60 minutes
- Order your first round before you finish reading the menu. The clock starts at seating, not at first order.
- Skip the $1.50-tier plates. They are the cheapest thing to buy à la carte, so they are the worst use of a buffet slot.
- Go as a pair, not a trio, if you can split. Two pairs at $61 each ($30.50 a head) beats a table of four at $131 ($32.75 a head) by $9 — worth asking the outlet whether that is allowed.
- Arrive well before 5pm. Last entry is firm, and a 130-item buffet on a public-holiday-week Tuesday at Tampines 1 is not somewhere to cut it fine.
