Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree opened on 26 November 2025, and for its first birthday it is cutting room rates for locals. The One Year in the Wild offer takes up to 45% off rooms for stays in November 2026, booked during October, and it is open only to Singapore Citizens and PRs.
> Quick view: up to 45% off rooms · from S$229++ a night on a weekday (about S$275 nett) · book 1-31 Oct 2026, stay 1-30 Nov 2026 · Singaporeans and PRs only · first 260 bookings · 26% off dining and spa, kids 12 and below dine free, free parking
The offer
The resort's offer page lists the anniversary rate and five extra privileges for guests who book it:
- Up to 45% off standard rooms (the Rainforest and Sanctuary King and Double Double rooms), plus the family room and suites on the booking engine.
- 26% off food at Planter's Shed. Alcohol is excluded.
- 26% off spa treatments at Banyan Tree Spa, and a free 30-minute treatment if you go back for a second spa visit in the same stay.
- Kids 12 and below dine free at Planter's Shed for breakfast and buffet dinner, with a paying adult.
- Free Rangers' Club access for up to 2 children and free parking for one vehicle, both once per stay.
What a night actually costs
These are the anniversary rates the resort's own booking engine showed on 6 October for 2 adults, before 10% service charge and 9% GST:
| Room | Tue 10 Nov | About, nett |
|---|---|---|
| Rainforest King / Double Double | S$229++ | S$275 |
| Sanctuary King / Double Double | S$249++ | S$299 |
| Family Retreat (up to 4 guests) | S$279++ | S$335 |
| Suite | S$444++ | S$532 |
For comparison, the same Rainforest King on the same Tuesday was S$458++ on the regular Best Available Rate with breakfast, and S$389.30++ on the 21-day advance purchase rate. Weekends cost more: a Rainforest King on Saturday 7 November averaged S$345.96++ on the anniversary rate.
One thing to check before you pay: the anniversary rate is described as room savings plus dining, spa and family perks, and breakfast is not listed in it, while the regular rate it is compared against includes breakfast. Read the rate details on the booking page so you know whether to budget for breakfast.
The fine print
- Singaporeans and PRs only. Bring a valid physical NRIC to check-in. Without one, the resort can charge you the Best Available Rate.
- First 260 bookings. The offer is withdrawn once that limit is hit, even if it is still October.
- No changes. Confirmed bookings cannot be amended, a deposit is taken, and you can book at most 2 rooms under one name.
- Not stackable. It cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or member rates.
- Prices are ++. Add 10% service charge and GST. The main guest must be at least 21.
- Perks are for in-house guests only. The dining, spa and Rangers' Club privileges need advance reservations and depend on availability.
Tips
- Pick a weekday. The Tuesday rate was about S$117 a night cheaper than Saturday for the same room.
- Families should look at the Family Retreat. At S$279++ it sleeps four, and with kids eating free at breakfast and the buffet dinner, the food bill shrinks a lot.
- Pair it with a park day. The resort sits next to Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders and Bird Paradise, and the free parking covers your car for the stay.
- Book early in the month. With only 260 bookings, the popular November weekends will go first.
