HONOR has opened pre-orders for the X9e Pro 5G in Singapore, and for one week the launch bundle is generous: the 128GB phone is $499 after a $30 instant rebate, and every pre-order gets a free HONOR Pad X7 tablet along with an extra year of warranty and a year of accident cover.

The phone
The X9e Pro is HONOR's toughness-first mid-ranger. On HONOR's own spec page it has an 11,000mAh battery (10,510mAh rated), 80W fast charging, a 108MP OIS main camera, a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 6-series chip and IP68, IP69 and IP69K water and dust ratings, with drop and crush resistance as the headline. It comes in Royal Purple, Dawn Gold, Reddish Brown and Midnight Black.
The fine print
- $499 is the 128GB phone only. HONOR's poster prices the 128GB after rebate and nothing else. Whether the $30 also comes off the $659 and $829 models is something to check in the cart, not assume.
- Online, through HONOR's official stores. HONOR's campaign artwork sends buyers to Shopee and Lazada, and its product page links to both. A third-party seller on the same platforms is not the same deal.
- While stocks last. The terms say limited-time and while stocks last, and the tablet is the part most likely to run out.
- The protection is a year, the warranty is two. The liquid-damage and crack cover run 365 days; only the warranty stretches to 730.
Tips
- Stack a platform voucher. Shopee and Lazada both run month-end codes, and those are separate from HONOR's rebate, so compare the final checkout total on both stores.
- Think about the tablet. If you would not use a Pad X7, the value of the bundle to you is closer to $30 and a longer warranty. That is still decent, but it is not $626.
- Pick 256GB if you shoot video. The 108MP camera and a phone you plan to keep for years fill 128GB quickly, and the jump is $130.
