The outlets change with the day
This is not a chainwide promotion running for two days. It is two outlets a day, and the pairs do not overlap, which is printed on the brand's own campaign poster.

The brand's Facebook post on 1 September confirmed the first pair in its own words, naming Parkway Parade and Jurong Point from 12pm the following day and tagging the post #AnniversaryPromotion.
So the failure mode here is turning up at the right shop on the wrong day. If Bugis Junction is your outlet, Wednesday is a wasted trip.
Causeway Point is the outlet that is missing
Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart lists five Singapore outlets on its own page: Jurong Point, Parkway Parade, Causeway Point, Changi Airport Terminal 3 and Bugis Junction. The promotion covers four of them across the two days. Causeway Point is not on either day's list.
That is worth stating plainly because third-party directories for this brand are unreliable. Some of them still list outlets at Northpoint City and Changi City Point that do not appear on the brand's own page at all. If you are checking where to go, the brand's page is the list to trust, and Woodlands is not on this promotion.
The 12pm start is the real constraint
Both days begin at 12pm and run while stocks last. Those two conditions work against each other at a counter this small. A lunchtime start means the queue forms at the busiest hour of the day, and *while stocks last* sits above the date in the hierarchy: there is no published stock count, no per-customer cap and no reservation, so the offer ends when the tarts do.
Two practical notes on the Thursday pair. The Changi Airport Terminal 3 outlet is landside, in the public Basement 2 shopping level, so you do not need a boarding pass to use it there. And Thursday 3 September is the last working day before the 5 to 13 September school break, which tends to make the town outlets busier rather than quieter.
What the free tart is worth
Less certain than it should be, and it is better to say so. The brand publishes no Singapore price list on any site of its own, and the third-party listings that do quote a price for the Original Cheese Tart disagree with each other. This article is not going to put a single figure on the saving off a food blog, because those numbers get copied forward for years without anyone rechecking them.
What is reliable is the mechanic. One Original tart at the counter price of the day gets you a second free, which halves the per-tart cost whatever that price turns out to be. Read the board when you get there.
The offer also names the Original Cheese Tart only. The flavoured versions sold alongside it are not written into this promotion.
The anniversary, and how this brand usually discounts
The poster carries a 10 Anniversary badge, which puts the Singapore business at ten years. This is a format the brand repeats rather than a one-off: it ran a 1-for-1 anniversary deal at selected outlets on 9 and 10 September 2025, the same paired-outlet structure a year earlier. Its other discounts this year have been multi-buys rather than 1-for-1, including a Buy 4 Get 2 Free run from 8 to 10 May 2026.
Read that two ways. It is a genuine annual event rather than a permanent offer, so the two days are real. But it is also a promotion this brand comes back to, so missing it is not a disaster.
