A December camp where the kids come home having actually learnt to play something: GymKidz's Olympics Camp is structured sports coaching for ages 3 to 9, and our readers get an exclusive code on top of the early bird.
> Quick view: 14-18 Dec 2026, 9am-12pm, The Cage, Kallang. Ages 3-6 (Cubs) and 7-9 (Grizzlies). $450/week or $100/day · 10% early bird by 15 Nov · exclusive reader code MISSLOBANG5 for 5% off (stacking not stated, ask when registering). Register at gymkidzsin.com/holiday-programme.
WHAT THE CAMP IS
Five mornings of structured multi-sport coaching, run in small, age-grouped sessions by experienced coaches; GymKidz is explicit that this is coaching, not free play. The company has run children's physical development programmes in Singapore for 20 years, and the camp page carries a 5.0 rating from 18 Google reviews.
- Olympic Cubs (ages 3-6): football, hockey, frisbee, captain's ball, dodgeball
- Olympic Grizzlies (ages 7-9): football, touch rugby, frisbee, captain's ball, dodgeball
Venue: The Cage, 38 Jalan Benaan Kapal, Kallang (S399635), the sheltered pitch complex, so a rainy December morning does not sink the plan.
THE MONEY, WITH THE DISCOUNT LADDER
| Price | |
|---|---|
| Full week (5 mornings) | $450 |
| Single day | $100 |
| Week with 10% early bird (register by 15 Nov) | $405 |
| With reader code MISSLOBANG5 (5% off) | $427.50 off list |
The honest note on stacking: GymKidz has not stated whether MISSLOBANG5 stacks with the early bird. Before 15 November, the 10% early bird is the better single discount; after that, the code is your 5%. Ask at registration whether they combine, and take whichever maths wins.
The single-day option is quietly useful: $100 to trial one morning before committing to the week, something most December camps do not offer.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
- Register: gymkidzsin.com/holiday-programme, entering MISSLOBANG5 at registration for the reader discount
- Timing: the early bird ends 15 November; the camp runs the second week of the December holidays, 14-18 Dec
- What to expect: 9am-12pm is a half-day format, so it pairs well with an afternoon plan rather than replacing full-day childcare
