Guzman y Gomez runs its $3 Brekkie Burrito on the 3rd of every month, and September's falls on Thursday 3 September 2026. On the ordinary menu that burrito is $7, so this is $4 off, about 57 percent.

> Quick view: $3 Brekkie Burrito (U.P. $7) · Thursday 3 Sep 2026 · from opening until 10.30am · 18 participating restaurants · counter and GYG App only, no delivery · GOMEX members capped at 3 across 2 transactions · while stocks last.

What $3 buys

The Brekkie Burrito is fluffy scrambled eggs and a crispy hash brown in a warm tortilla, with a choice of one filling: Bacon, Chorizo, Sauteed Vegetables with Guacamole or Pulled Shiitake. Any additional filling or extra side is charged on top.

The trap this month: the 3rd is a Thursday

GYG published its participating list, with each restaurant's opening time, for 3 July 2026. That date was a Friday. This month the 3rd is a Thursday, and GYG's own store finder gives three restaurants on that list different Thursday hours.

  1. One Holland Village. Its listing says breakfast is available 8am to 10.30am on Fridays, weekends and public holidays. Monday to Thursday it opens at 10.30am. On a Thursday 3rd it is out.
  2. Northpoint City. Monday to Thursday 10.30am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 8am. It opens at the minute the offer closes.
  3. Dunearn Village. Monday to Thursday 10am to 10pm, Friday to Sunday from 8am, and its listing carries no breakfast hours at all.

Two timings on the same July list have also moved, and both cost you half an hour:

  • The two 7am openings on that list, Guoco Tower and Ocean Financial Centre, are now 7.30am on the store finder.
  • Serene Centre was listed at 7.30am. Its own page now says breakfast runs 8.30am to 10.30am Monday to Friday, and 7.30am to 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday. The early time is a weekend time.

Where it works on Thursday morning

The Rail Mall deserves a note. Its breakfast runs on Thursdays, Fridays, weekends and public holidays, so a Thursday 3rd is one of the four days it is in. Next month's 3rd is a Saturday, which also works, but a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday 3rd would shut it out.

Mapletree Business City is weekdays only, so it is in this month and out whenever the 3rd lands on a weekend.

The six that are excluded, and two oddities in the list

GYG's terms exclude Pasir Ris Mall, ION Orchard, Our Tampines Hub, Jewel Changi Airport, Hillion Mall and Suntec City.

Suntec City contradicts itself on the same page. The announcement carries a section headed "Now Serving Breakfast at Suntec City", telling you the outlet serves breakfast daily from 8am to 10.30am and calling it more reason to look forward to the 3rd. The terms further down the same page then exclude Suntec City by name. Terms win, so do not plan a Suntec morning around this.

Jewel Changi Airport is still on the exclusion list but no longer on the store finder. GYG's find-us page lists 23 Singapore restaurants and Jewel is not one of them, and its outlet page on gyg.com.sg returns a 404 while the others load. The arithmetic supports the finder: 23 restaurants, minus the five excluded ones that still exist, is 18, which is exactly the "18 participating GYG Brekkie Restaurants" figure in GYG's own terms. The campaign banner's "across 19 restaurants" is the number that does not reconcile.

The app limit is lower than the counter limit

Each GOMEX member is capped at one order of a single $3 burrito and one order of a combo of two at $6. That is three burritos across two transactions only on the day. The same terms then say guests can buy more over the counter, subject to availability.

So the rule is simple. Feeding yourself, use the app and skip the queue. Feeding a household or an office, order at the counter, where the cap does not apply.

Delivery is not eligible. A GrabFood or foodpanda order pays the full $7.

Three tips

  1. Go before 9am. It is while stocks last and breakfast service ends at 10.30am regardless.
  2. Check your own outlet's hours, not the July list. Three of the 18 have Thursday hours that do not work, and two more open half an hour later than that list says.
  3. Set a reminder for the 3rd of next month. 3 October 2026 is a Saturday, which brings One Holland Village and Northpoint City back in and takes Mapletree Business City out.
