Goodwood Park Hotel's Mid-Autumn Grandeur 2026 opened on 16 August and runs to Friday 25 September — Mid-Autumn day itself. Its own promotions page carries four separate offers, not one, and almost every repost collapses them into a single "25% off" headline. Read them side by side and the ranking inverts: the deepest percentage is the one you probably should not take.

> Quick view: 25% early bird (30% Hotel Gourmet Card), min. 2 boxes, online only — but collection or delivery 16–30 Aug ONLY, 26 days before the festival · excludes 'Mao Shan Wang' $79, Black Thorn $92, Premium Duo $86, Classic Baked with Tea Set $76 · 7-Day Bank Special 31 Aug – 6 Sep: 20% off EVERYTHING, collection to 25 Sep · standing bank offer 15% (Gourmet Card 20%) · walk-in 5%, weekdays 12–2pm only.

The early bird has a collection deadline, not just an order deadline

This is the line the reposts drop. Goodwood Park's early bird gives 25% off with a minimum of two boxes (30% for Hotel Gourmet Cardmembers), and its terms then say: *collection or delivery available from 16 to 30 August 2026 only.*

So the discount does not merely have to be claimed by 30 August. The mooncakes have to be in your hands by 30 August — a Sunday, six days from today.

Mid-Autumn 2026 falls on Friday 25 September. That is 26 days after the last collection date. And Goodwood Park's own product notes say to eat its snowskin mooncakes within 3 days and its baked mooncakes within 5.

Put those two facts together and the 25% is not a festival discount at all. It is a discount on mooncakes you eat in August.

It also excludes the four boxes people actually come for

The early bird terms read: *not applicable for 'Mao Shan Wang', Black Thorn, Premium Duo mooncakes, Classic Baked Mooncakes with Artisanal Tea Set.*

Those are the hotel's four most expensive boxes, and three of them are the durian range Goodwood Park is known for:

BoxPriceIn the 25% early bird?
Black Thorn Durian$92No
Premium Duo (Black Thorn + 'Mao Shan Wang')$86No
'Mao Shan Wang' Durian$79No
Classic Baked Mooncakes with Artisanal Tea Set$76No
D24 Durian$67Yes — $50.25

The signature D24 Durian at $67 is the one durian inside the offer, falling to $50.25 at 25% and $46.90 on a Gourmet Card.

What the early bird is worth, box by box

All prices below are the hotel's own published box prices, read off its ordering site on 24 August 2026. Boxes are 4 pieces unless stated.

The biggest single-box saving in the whole promotion is the Baked Combo on a Gourmet Card: $96 to $67.20, or $28.80 off. The cheapest basket that clears the two-box minimum is two boxes of White Lotus with Melon Seeds — $78.00 instead of $104.

The offer nobody is writing about is the one at the bottom of the page

Underneath the early bird, Goodwood Park lists a 7-DAY BANK SPECIAL: 31 August to 6 September 2026, 20% off ALL mooncakes with Citi, DBS/POSB, Maybank, OCBC and UOB cards — no exclusions — and collection or delivery until 25 September.

That is the offer that reaches the festival, and on the four excluded boxes it is the only sensible move:

BoxU.P.Standing bank 15%7-day bank 20%Gained by waiting
Black Thorn Durian$92$78.20$73.60$4.60
Premium Duo$86$73.10$68.80$4.30
'Mao Shan Wang' Durian$79$67.15$63.20$3.95
Classic Baked with Tea Set$76$64.60$60.80$3.80

Hotel Gourmet Cardmembers already get 20% all season under the regular offer, so the bank week adds nothing for them. Their two real options are the 30% early bird (collect by 30 August) or 20% at any point to 25 September.

The 5% walk-in discount is not "additional"

The page bills the weekday walk-in offer as an *additional 5% off* for purchases between 12pm and 2pm at The Deli and all mall stalls, 16 August to 10 September. Two lines of small print undo the word "additional": it carries the same four exclusions as the early bird, and it is "not valid in conjunction with other promotions or discounts". So it replaces the 15% bank offer rather than stacking on it — which makes it the worst discount on the page for anyone holding one of the five participating bank cards.

Where you can actually buy them today

Only two counters are open as at 24 August. The rest open on staggered dates:

StallOpen from
The Deli, Goodwood Park Hotel (10am–8pm)16 Aug
Takashimaya B2 Square20 Aug
VivoCity25 Aug
Compass One31 Aug
NEX4 Sep
CIMB Plaza (Mon–Fri)7 Sep
Jurong Point7 Sep
LOT 18 Sep
Tampines Mall16 Sep

All run to 25 September. And the terms carry a line worth reading twice: "Discounts may vary at stalls outside the hotel or various ordering platforms managed by external parties." That is the explanation for something that looks like an oversight at the Takashimaya mooncake fair, where Goodwood Park Hotel shows no early bird at all while smaller bakeries a few metres away run 30–35% off. The discount is on the hotel's own site, not at the fair stall.

The fine print that costs money

  • Allow 5 days from the date of order for collection or delivery. Ordering on 30 August does not get you an early-bird box on 30 August.
  • Last date for online pre-orders: 20 September 2026.
  • Minimum 5 boxes of 4 pieces for pre-orders placed through The Deli or the Mooncake Call Centre — the two-box minimum applies to the online early bird, not to the phone line.
  • Online orders cannot be changed after confirmation and payment.
  • Cancel or amend a Deli or call-centre order later than 3 working days before the collection date and 50% of the bill is charged to your card. Fail to collect on the agreed date and 100% is.
  • No refunds on cash payments. Cash is accepted only at The Deli.
  • Mooncake Call Centre: 6730 1867 (corporate), 6730 1868 (general), 9am–7pm Mon–Fri, 9am–1pm Sat, Sun and public holidays.

So what should you do

  • Buying for yourself, eating in August: take the early bird before Sunday 30 August. Two boxes minimum, online, and the Baked Combo at $72.00 or the Snowskin Combo at $67.50 are the two best numbers on the page.
  • Buying a gift for Mid-Autumn: ignore the early bird entirely and diarise Monday 31 August. The 20% bank week runs to 6 September and lets you set collection close to 25 September, when a snowskin mooncake is still a snowskin mooncake.
  • Buying durian: the early bird was never available to you. Wait for 31 August and save $3.95 to $4.60 a box against buying today at 15%.
  • Hotel Gourmet Cardmember: 30% by 30 August, or 20% whenever you like. Nothing in between is worth planning around.
