An XL diaper pant costs anywhere from 41 cents to 86 cents in Singapore, and the brand matters less than which promo you catch. We read every pack price and live offer for six brands on FairPrice Online on 9 October 2026 and worked out the real cost per diaper.
Compare diapers by the cost of one diaper, not the pack price.
> Quick view: best value is Rascals Premium Pants at $24.17 (about 52¢ each in XL) until 1 Dec; the cheapest XL pant this week is Huggies Gentle Soft at about 41¢; most other FairPrice deals end 15 October.
How to choose
- Work out the cost per diaper. Divide the price by the number of pieces. Pack counts drop as sizes go up, so a $28 pack can hold 80 newborn diapers or 38 XL pants.
- Tape for newborns, pants once they roll. Tape diapers are cheaper and easier on a baby who lies still. Most parents switch to pants once the baby starts rolling and crawling, and pants cost more per piece.
- Check whether the carton really saves. Rascals' and Huggies' AirSoft cartons were cheaper per diaper than single packs on 9 Oct, but Drypers' and Merries' were not, because their 2-for deals already beat the carton price.
- Buy a small pack before a big haul. Fit and skin reactions vary by baby. Try one pack (or the free Huggies sample) before buying a carton.
- Time it with the deal calendar. Most FairPrice diaper deals here run 1 or 8 to 15 Oct, and new ones usually follow. Rascals' price runs until 1 Dec.
How we checked
Every price, pack size and offer date here was read from FairPrice Online's own product listings on 9 October 2026, and every per-diaper figure is our own division of the deal price by the piece count. FairPrice is not the only option: Watsons, Guardian, Shopee, Lazada and each brand's own store run separate deals, so compare before a big order. We left Pampers out because FairPrice listed it only as 3-pack cartons with no deal. Brand claims (Rascals' 12-hour protection, Drypers' hospital use, Applecrumby's chlorine-free label) come from the brands' own websites and packs. Photos come from each brand's official site.
