Three ships are working out of Singapore right now and five more join over the winter, but almost every roundup still lists cruise lines that do not sell to you in Singapore dollars at all. Norwegian's Singapore visitors get redirected to its India storefront, Celebrity and Cunard have no Singapore site, and MSC's .com.sg domain no longer resolves. The bigger surprise is that Resorts World Cruises no longer exists under that name: the operator rebranded to StarDream Cruises, and resortsworldcruises.com is now a parked domain listed for sale. What is real, and priced in SGD, is a Genting Dream 2-night to Melaka or Port Klang from S$164, a Star Voyager 1-night hop to Port Klang from S$49 in the November to January sale, Royal Caribbean 3-night Penang sailings from S$300 a head, and a 10-day Diamond Princess run to Halong Bay for S$1,006 in an interior. Every fare below was read off the operator's own booking listing on 3 September 2026, and every one of them excludes port charges, fuel surcharge and gratuities.
Eight ships work out of Singapore this season, and on none of them is the sticker fare the bill.

The ship most Singaporeans mean when they say "cruise", and the cheapest way to get a balcony and a buffet without flying. Genting Dream sails round trips from Marina Bay Cruise Centre all year: 2 nights to Melaka or Port Klang from S$164 a head, 3 nights to Phuket, to Penang with Port Klang, or to Penang with Melaka from S$260, a 2-night weekend cruise that never docks anywhere from S$270, and a 5-night run down to South Bali (Benoa) and Lombok from S$829. It is a genuinely big ship: 150,695 gross tons, 18 decks, 1,674 staterooms and 3,352 guests at lower berth, built by Meyer Werft, with a waterslide park, a rope course and zipline, the Zodiac Theatre, Zouk and Zouk Beach Club, and Little Dreamers for the children. The Palace is a ship-within-a-ship of butler-serviced suites with its own restaurant and sun deck. The name to know: this is no longer Resorts World Cruises. The operator rebranded to StarDream Cruises and the old resortsworldcruises.com is now a parked domain listed for sale, so book at stardreamcruises.com and ignore any agent still sending you to the old address. BEST FOR: a first cruise, a long weekend, and anyone who wants the shortest possible trip that still feels like a holiday.

Disney Cruise Line's largest ship is homeported in Singapore, sailing weekly from Marina Bay Cruise Centre, and it is the only ship on this list where the vessel is the entire destination. The Disney Adventure runs 3- and 4-night itineraries that have, until now, been all at sea: no ports, no tenders, no shore excursions, just a ship with seven themed areas built around Marvel, Toy Story, Frozen and the rest. That changes at the end of the year. Disney announced on 25 August 2026 that select 4-night sailings between 31 December 2026 and May 2027 will call at Langkawi, Malaysia, on day 3, the ship's first ever port of call. The season runs continuously: the ship returns with 3- and 4-night cruises from October to December 2026 and keeps going from January through August 2027. Two things to plan around. Disney quotes inside the booking flow rather than publishing a lead-in fare, so you cannot compare it against the numbers on this page until you have picked a date, and it prices well above every other ship here. And Disney has not published the exact list of Langkawi departure dates, so if the port call is the reason you are booking, confirm the specific sailing before you pay. BEST FOR: families with young children, and anyone who would rather the ship were the holiday.

Royal Caribbean's Singapore season steps up in October 2026, when Navigator of the Seas sails Southeast Asia for the first time. It is the amped-up version of the ship, carrying The Blaster, billed as the longest waterslide at sea. Prices on Royal Caribbean's own Singapore site, read on 3 September 2026: 3-night Penang from S$300 per person with 20 dates to choose from, 4-night Penang and Phuket from S$481 across 21 dates, 4-night Ho Chi Minh City at S$460, 4-night Port Klang and Penang at S$544, and a 5-night Penang and Phuket with an overnight from S$614. The line's Singapore landing page starts sailings from S$249. Royal Caribbean is the clearest of the four operators about what the number means: its search results state "Starting price in SGD" and then list taxes, fees and port expenses as a separate line on every single sailing, so you can see the real total before you click. The current sale is worth up to S$1,300 off with free 3rd and 4th guests on selected sailings, plus US$100 of onboard credit on selected Navigator departures. BEST FOR: the widest choice of dates, and the most transparent pricing on this list.

The second StarDream ship, and where the genuinely low numbers live. In the Star Voyager Year End Sale, covering sailings from November 2026 to January 2027, a 1-night Singapore to Port Klang crossing starts at S$49 per person and the reverse leg is the same price. Round trips from Singapore cost more but are still the cheapest multi-night fares here after Genting Dream: 2 nights to Melaka or to Port Klang from S$269, 2 nights to Pulau Pangkor from S$329, 3 nights to Pulau Pangkor and Penang from S$369, and 4 nights to Langkawi, Pulau Pangkor and Port Klang from S$549. Star Voyager is the smaller of the two ships at 77,441 gross tons, 14 decks, 972 staterooms and 1,944 guests at lower berth, built by Fincantieri, with a waterslide, the Zodiac Theatre, Symphony Spa and its own Palace suite area. Read the S$49 carefully before you get excited: it is a one-way sailing, so you disembark at Port Klang and have to get yourself back from Malaysia, which is a coach or a flight you are paying for separately. As a novelty overnight it is unbeatable value; as a holiday it is half a trip. BEST FOR: a cheap overnight, a one-way novelty, and small-ship cruisers who find Genting Dream too busy.

If the two-night hop to Melaka is not what you had in mind, this is the ship that turns a Singapore departure into a real Southeast Asia itinerary. Diamond Princess repositions to Singapore for the 2026-27 season and runs 11 cruises from here between November 2026 and March 2027, bookended by repositioning sailings between Singapore and Japan. The pricing on Princess's Singapore site on 3 September 2026 is the most aggressive on this page in absolute terms: a 10-day Vietnam cruise with Halong Bay, round trip from Singapore across 5 ports on 9 December 2026, is S$1,006 per person in an interior, cut from S$1,837, with taxes, fees and port expenses of S$141 on top. The 14-day Southeast Asia loop with Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam over 7 ports on 19 December 2026 is S$2,303 from S$3,775, plus S$231. There are 33 sailings from Singapore in the search results, so the dates go well beyond this winter. The ship carries 2,670 guests, which makes it mid-sized by current standards and a good deal calmer than Genting Dream. BEST FOR: people who want the cruise to actually go somewhere, and who have a week or two rather than a weekend.

The ship people book for one specific reason: North Star, the glass capsule on a crane arm that lifts you 300 feet above the deck for a 360-degree view, which is a very different photograph off Penang or Phuket than it is off Florida. Quantum of the Seas is a Quantum-class ship and the more modern of Royal Caribbean's two Singapore regulars, with RipCord by iFLY skydiving, SeaPlex and the Two70 lounge. Its Singapore fares sit slightly above Navigator for the same route: 3-night Penang from S$337 per person across 10 dates, 4-night Penang and Phuket from S$484 across 14 dates, and a 5-night Penang and Phuket with an overnight from S$613. That S$37 gap on the 3-night is the cheapest way to test whether the newer ship is worth it to you. On deployment, read the small print: Royal Caribbean's own schedule page lists Quantum for the winter 2027-28 Singapore season while Navigator covers winter 2026-27, but Quantum sailings from Singapore are already on sale with dates in between, so go by the sailing date in the search results rather than by the season label. BEST FOR: the view, the newer hardware, and anyone who has already done Navigator.

Diamond Princess's sister ship, and the second half of the Princess pair homeported in Singapore for the 2026-27 season. She takes the itinerary most people picture when they think of a proper Asian cruise: 14 days round trip from Singapore across 8 ports through Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, departing 26 December 2026, at S$2,774 per person in an interior, down from S$3,878, with S$269 of taxes, fees and port expenses on top. That is the Christmas-and-New-Year departure, which is why it prices above the identical-length 19 December Diamond Princess sailing at S$2,303. If your dates are flexible, moving one week earlier saves S$471 a head for the same fortnight at sea. Same size as her sister at 2,670 guests, same Princess formula: quieter public rooms, a stronger main dining room, and none of the waterslide-and-nightclub energy of the StarDream ships. BEST FOR: a school-holiday fortnight, and travellers who want a proper multi-country itinerary without flying to the start line.

The outlier on this list, and worth knowing about precisely because almost nobody sells it as a holiday. Voyager of the Seas runs a 5-night Singapore to Hong Kong sailing from S$638 per person, and there is exactly one date for it in Royal Caribbean's Singapore search results, which is what a repositioning sailing looks like. The maths is the appeal: five nights of accommodation, food and entertainment plus the transport to Hong Kong for roughly what a decent hotel week costs, if you were going to Hong Kong anyway. The maths is also the catch: you need a one-way flight home at the end, and a September or December fare from Hong Kong back to Singapore can wipe out the saving on its own, so price the flight before you price the cabin. Voyager is a Voyager-class ship, older than Quantum but comfortably big, with a rock-climbing wall and the Royal Promenade running through the middle of the ship. BEST FOR: anyone with a reason to be in Hong Kong, and cruisers who would rather sail somewhere than sail in a loop.

Every operator on this page quotes a cruise fare the same way: per person, based on two people sharing a cabin, before the compulsory extras. StarDream spells it out in one line under its prices, "Excludes port charges, fuel surcharge, and gratuity fees". Royal Caribbean is the most useful about it, printing "Taxes, fees and port expenses" as its own number on every sailing in the search results. Princess does the same, and on its longer Singapore itineraries that line runs from S$141 on the 10-day Vietnam cruise to S$269 on the 14-day loop.
So when you compare a S$164 Genting Dream weekend against a S$300 Royal Caribbean Penang trip, you are not yet comparing like with like. Add the extras to both, then add drinks, wi-fi and shore excursions, none of which are included on any ship here except inside a suite package. A useful rule of thumb: budget a third again on top of the fare before you have bought a single cocktail.
Only three ships are working out of Singapore this week: Genting Dream, Star Voyager and Disney Adventure. Everything else on this page arrives later, which matters if you are trying to book something in the next month rather than for the year-end holidays.
The winter season is when the port fills up. Navigator of the Seas starts sailing Southeast Asia in October 2026. Diamond Princess repositions in for 11 cruises between November 2026 and March 2027, with Sapphire Princess alongside her. Disney Adventure returns with 3- and 4-night cruises from October to December 2026 and keeps running through August 2027. The expanded Marina Bay Cruise Centre, finished in late 2025, lifted peak capacity from roughly 6,800 passengers to about 11,700, which is the reason all of them can be here at once.
This is the part most cruise roundups get wrong. A ship calling at Singapore is not the same as a cruise line selling to Singapore residents in Singapore dollars.
Checked on 3 September 2026: Norwegian Cruise Line has no Singapore storefront, and a request for its Singapore pages redirects to its India site. Celebrity Cruises returns a 404 on every Singapore locale we tried. Cunard has no en-sg site at all. MSC's msccruises.com.sg does not resolve. Those lines do have Singapore departures on the calendar, including Celebrity Solstice sailings in January and February 2027 and a 13-night Norwegian Jade run to Hong Kong on 17 January 2027, but you will be buying them through an overseas storefront in a foreign currency or through a local travel agent, with the agent's terms rather than the line's.
The other correction worth carrying: Resorts World Cruises is now StarDream Cruises. The rebrand is complete enough that resortsworldcruises.com is a parked domain with a sale listing on it. Genting Dream and Star Voyager are unchanged, the booking site is stardreamcruises.com, and any page still calling it Resorts World Cruises has not been updated this year.
Two nights and you have never cruised: Genting Dream. Children under 12: Disney Adventure. You want a ship with things to do and dates to pick from: Navigator of the Seas. You want the cheapest possible night at sea and do not mind ending up in Malaysia: Star Voyager. You want the cruise to be the holiday rather than the transport: Diamond Princess.

The lowest published fare is S$49 per person on Star Voyager for a 1-night sailing from Singapore to Port Klang, part of StarDream Cruises' Year End Sale covering November 2026 to January 2027 departures. It is a one-way crossing, so you disembark in Malaysia and pay your own way back. For a round trip that returns you to Marina Bay, the cheapest is Genting Dream at S$164 per person for 2 nights to Melaka or Port Klang. Both prices are per person on two sharing and exclude port charges, fuel surcharge and gratuities.
The ships are, the brand name is not. The operator has rebranded to StarDream Cruises. Genting Dream and Star Voyager still sail from Singapore on the same itineraries, but bookings now go through stardreamcruises.com. The old resortsworldcruises.com address is a parked domain carrying a sale listing, so any site still linking you there has not been updated. StarDream also operates Star Navigator, which sails from Keelung in Taiwan rather than Singapore.
Until the end of 2026 it is all at sea. The Disney Adventure sails 3- and 4-night round trips from Marina Bay Cruise Centre with no port calls, which is deliberate: the ship's seven themed areas are the destination. That changes on 31 December 2026, when select 4-night sailings through to May 2027 add Langkawi, Malaysia, on day 3. Disney has not published the exact list of dates that include the call, so confirm the specific departure before booking if the port stop is the point.
Port charges, fuel surcharge and gratuities are excluded by every operator here, and they are not small. Royal Caribbean and Princess print them as a separate line on each sailing: Princess adds S$141 to its 10-day Vietnam cruise and S$269 to the 14-day Southeast Asia loop. StarDream states the exclusion in its fine print rather than pricing it on the listing, so you see it at checkout. On top of that, drinks, wi-fi, speciality dining and shore excursions are extra on all eight ships unless you are in a suite package. Budgeting roughly a third again on top of the fare is a safe planning figure.
