The cheapest way onto a hotel buffet on this list, and the most flexible: Plate at Carlton City rotates three themed buffets through the week, each with its own 1-for-1, all priced on the hotel's own site at carltoncity.sg. Sunday lunch is Ah Ma Porridge at $56++ per adult ($22++ for children 6 to 12), so about $28++ a head after 1-for-1, the lowest per-head price on this page. Monday to Saturday lunch is Flavours of Hong Kong at $62++ per adult Monday to Friday ($28++ child) and $68++ on Saturdays and public holidays ($32++ child), so about $31-34++ a head. Both lunches run 12pm to 2.30pm, and the hotel's menu pages schedule both from August to October. The evening spread is Canton Street Kitchen, Friday and Saturday 6pm to 10pm, at $138++ per adult ($45++ child), about $69++ a head, with Boston lobster, snow crab legs and chilled prawns on ice; the hotel dates that promotion 9 January to 18 December 2026. OCBC's role has changed since 2025: the old OCBC-exclusive 1-for-1 has lapsed, and OCBC credit and debit cards now get 15% off the total bill instead, daily at both lunch and dinner. Pricing typically runs S$55-70++ for lunch and S$70-90++ for dinner, with the buffet leaning Asian and local plus a smaller international section. JEN does not publish an end date for the house promotion, so book through jen-eats.com and confirm the offer is still running when you reserve. Best for: two people with no qualifying card who want a proper hotel buffet on a weeknight.

The seafood pick, and it is running now. Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre, on Cavenagh Road and walkable from Somerset MRT, restarted its Crack, Dip and Indulge Crab & Lobster Buffet Dinner on 10 September, and it runs to 22 November 2026, Thursday to Sunday, 6pm to 10pm, at S$168++ for two adults with 1-for-1, so about S$84++ a head. Check the room before you go: from 10 to 20 September the buffet is served in the hotel's Orchid Ballroom, and it moves into the newly renovated Window on the Park on Level 2 from 24 September. The spread is built around crab and lobster: Singapore chilli crab with mantou, black pepper, salted egg, kam hiong and Nyonya curry crab, a BBQ station grilling crab, scampi, lobster, scallop and abalone, and a seafood bar with prawns, mussels, clams, gong gong, oysters and garlic-marinated baby lobster, plus salmon and tuna sashimi, sushi and maki, crab briyani rice, crab meat masala and a dessert, ice cream and fruit line. Two conditions the write-ups keep dropping: the offer is valid for direct bookings only, and the IHG member discount applies only to direct bookings too, so a third-party reservation forfeits both. Groups of six or more get a complimentary bottle of house red or white, swappable for soft drinks by the glass for the whole table. Window on the Park has been listed as halal-verified, but the offer page itself says nothing about halal status, for the ballroom sittings or otherwise, so ask when you book if that matters to you. Café Mosaic on Level 1 of Carlton Hotel, 76 Bras Basah Road, is the only venue here running 1-for-1 on two different buffets, and its lunch is one of the cheaper per-head deals on this page. The Hong Kong Kitchen Lunch Buffet is $68++ per adult daily, so about $34++ a head with 1-for-1, served 12pm to 2.30pm: handcrafted dim sum, Hong Kong roasted pork belly, curry fishballs, egg tarts and bolo buns. Children aged 7 to 12 are $18. The cheaper weekday rate that used to sit under this was scrapped on 31 August 2026, so the weekday and weekend price is now the same. The Hong Kong Seafood Dinner Buffet runs Thursday to Saturday, 6pm to 10pm with last order at 9.30pm, and went up on 31 August too: it is now $138++ per adult, about $69++ a head, with sashimi-grade oysters, cold crab legs, Hong Kong suckling pig, har gow and house-made desserts. Children aged 7 to 12 are $38. Both buffets are 1-for-1 for Citibank, DBS/POSB, OCBC and UOB cardholders, adult diners only. Seniors aged 55 and above can take 50% off instead, which costs the same per head and needs no second diner, but cannot be combined with the card promotion. Neither is valid on the eve of or on public holidays or special occasions. Every figure is before 10% service charge and GST, so a $34++ head budgets out at about $41 nett. Best for: dim sum at half price on a weekday, or a Cantonese seafood spread at the weekend.

Premium French-Asian dining on Level 5 of Sofitel City Centre, 9 Wallich Street, Tanjong Pagar. Both offers here moved on 5 September, so ignore anything written in August. The Saturday brunch has been rebuilt as the Ultimate Racines Buffet Brunch: Turf & Tide Edition, running every Saturday from 5 September to 31 October 2026, 12.30pm to 3pm, at $108++ per person. It leans on premium barbecued items from land and sea alongside a seafood-focused spread of hot dishes, soups, salads and French-local desserts, with a panoramic Chinatown view. The Straits Edition that preceded it, with its August durian dessert bar, has finished, and the price did not revert to $128++ as the hotel's earlier schedule implied. On cards, DBS, OCBC, Citibank, JCB and Maybank holders get 40% off adult prices for up to 8 people, which is about $65++ a head. The upgrade worth knowing about: ALL Accor+ Explorer members now get a straight 1-for-1 on adult prices for up to 8 people, not the 50% off previously published, so a pair of Explorer members pays about $54++ each. If you want a 1-for-1 without a membership, look at the other table: the Feast of the Straits all-you-can-enjoy a la carte dinner buffet runs daily 6pm to 10pm at $68++ per person, but is being sold at a special $68++ per pair from now to end October, so two people for one price, about $34++ each, with no card and no membership required. It is a 90-minute seating built on Penang, Malaysian, Indonesian and Singaporean home-kitchen dishes: seafood hor fun with tiger prawns, kueh pie tee, Angus beef cheek rendang, Nyonya assam curry snapper. Reservation required; book 5 to 7 days ahead as Saturday slots fill fast.

This is the buffet Singaporeans search for a 1-for-1 at more than almost any other, and the answer people find is usually years out of date. The old UOB and DBS/POSB 1-for-1 at Food Capital lapsed in 2024 and has not come back. What the hotel is running instead right now is arguably better for a group: until 4 October 2026, MyMillennium members get Dine Four, Pay Two on the Seafood Mania Buffet, so bring four adults and pay for two, which is exactly the 50% per-head saving a 1-for-1 gives you. So a weekday lunch for four comes to about S$36++ a head and a Monday-to-Thursday dinner about S$53++. Children aged 6 to 11 are half price and under-5s eat free. The spread leans hard on seafood: snow crab legs, baby lobsters and freshly shucked oysters at dinner, chilled tiger prawns and Spanish black mussels on ice, plus the GCW signature laksa. Sunday to Thursday dinner sends a whole lobster to the table for every two adults with a surf and turf BBQ; on Friday and Saturday every two adults choose any two of a Western-style lobster, a local-style crab or a bowl of signature drunken prawns. It sits on the Singapore River at 392 Havelock Road. Best for: groups of four who can go on a weekday.

Two limits are worth knowing, because the restaurant page states the offer without them and only the booking system spells them out. First, it is one free child per paying adult: a second child aged 6 to 12 pays the regular child rate, which is 50% of the adult price. Second, the programme is only available until 30 September 2026, an end date the restaurant page does not mention at all. Under-6s eat free regardless. So two adults at a weekday lunch pay about S$102++ between them, roughly S$51++ a head, against the S$49-54++ the old 1-for-1 delivered at dinner. The offer is adults 13 and over only, buffet only, capped at 10 people per reservation, and out on special occasions and the eve of and on public holidays, with other blackout dates applying. One thing genuinely new and worth taking: through September 2026, LiveWell members and their guests get a complimentary glass of house wine with every lunch or dinner buffet, Monday to Friday.
