#supermarket opening deals singapore 2026

Sheng Siong opened its Blk 905 Woodlands Avenue 5 store on Thursday 10 September 2026 and put the full opening advertisement on its own corporate site the same day. The store is at #02-01, Singapore 730905, trades 7am to 11pm daily on 6514 8101, and sits beside Woodlands Square within walking distance of Causeway Point, the Woodlands temporary bus interchange and both Woodlands MRT stations. One red band across the sheet decides how you read every price on it: Exclusive @ Blk 905 Woodlands Avenue 5. This is a 7 Days Special, 10 to 16 September only, at one address. Two free gifts sit on single-receipt spends, a Homeniks dishwashing liquid worth $2.60 at $30 and a Softess 7+1 roll kitchen towel bundle worth $6.60 at $70, one redemption per receipt. Here is the trap the reposts drop. Cigarettes, liquors, Sheng Siong vouchers and infant milk powder stages 1 and 2 are all taken out of that spend, and the four deepest dollar savings on the entire sheet are alcohol: La Campagne wine at $31.80 for 2 against $59.54 saves $27.74, the Carlsberg carton at $41.80 saves $23.85, the Tiger carton at $40.80 saves $16.67 and Jinro soju at $8.25 saves $4.89. Build your basket around the biggest numbers on the page and you qualify for nothing. Two more things to plan around: beverage cartons are quoted before the BCRS 10c deposit, so the $10.95 Coca-Cola carton is $13.35 at the till, and the loyalty discounts are day-gated inside the window. This is the first Sheng Siong opening ad to print the new 6% CHAS rate rather than the old 4%, which puts CHAS Blue on the opening day itself.

Sheng Siong opened its Rivervale Mall store on Thursday 4 September 2026, and posted the full opening advertisement to its own corporate site the same morning. The store is at 11 Rivervale Crescent #03-01, trades 7am to 11pm daily, and the ad prints one line that decides how you read every price on it: Exclusive @ 11 Rivervale Crescent, Rivervale Mall. This is a 7 Days Special, 4 to 10 September only, at one address. The headline is a Purchase-with-Purchase: every $88 spent lets you buy a Frozen Cooked King Crab Cluster 500/700 at $18.80 against a usual $69.43, capped at 4 pieces. Two free gifts sit on lower spends, a Softess kitchen towel at $30 and a 12-roll 4-ply tissue bundle at $70, one redemption per receipt, with cigarettes, liquor, Sheng Siong vouchers and infant milk powder stages 1 and 2 taken out of the spend. Three things the reposts drop. The 3-unit cap applies per product per customer per transaction, which matters because the deepest cuts on the sheet are multi-buys of two or three. The beverage cartons are quoted before the BCRS deposit, so the $10.95 Coca-Cola carton is $13.35 at the till and you get the $2.40 back when you return the cans. And the two loyalty discounts printed at the bottom are day-gated: seniors get 4% on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only, CHAS Blue on Thursdays and CHAS Orange on Fridays, which inside this 7-day window means 8 and 9 September for seniors, 10 September for Blue and 4 September for Orange. The CHAS rate itself went up to 6% on 10 September 2026, so Blue cardholders shopping the last day get 6%, not the 4% printed on the ad.
