Soup Restaurant is marking its 35th birthday with 35% off its Signature Samsui Ginger Chicken for five weekdays, Monday 14 to Friday 18 September 2026, dine-in only. The website headline just says "35% off our Signature Samsui Ginger Chicken", but the campaign poster's fine print narrows it: small portion only, limited to one per table per bill, not valid with any other promotion, while stocks last. The small plate is $23.90++ on the brand's own menus, so it comes to about $15.54++, or roughly $18.63 nett against $28.66, a saving of about $10. Because it cannot be combined, the Early Bird discount (20% to 35% off the whole order at off-peak hours) will often save more, so the birthday deal works best at peak lunch and dinner, and at Jewel and Paragon, where Early Bird does not run. Hougang Mall is closed for renovation until the end of September.

The 61%-off mechanic is everywhere this National Day, but most of them land on a token item. Soup Restaurant's version is on real food: from 16 July to 31 August 2026 you can take any one of six specially curated National Day dishes at 61% off, on weekdays, at its outlets islandwide. The six are Assam Uncle Lapan Fish, Laksa Prawns, Stir-Fried Pig's Blood Tofu with Mustard Green, Kopi O Pork Chop, Double-boiled Crocodile Soup with Wolf Berries, and Homemade Pandan Panna Cotta with Gula Melaka — a list that leans harder into old-school Singaporean cooking than almost any other SG61 menu running right now. Two things to read carefully: the discount is on any ONE of those dishes, not the whole menu, and it is weekdays only, which means National Day itself (Sunday 9 August) and the public holiday in lieu (Monday 10 August) are both out. Running alongside it are two OCBC card offers worth stacking your visit around — 1-for-1 selected vegetable dishes with a $50 minimum spend till 30 September, and a $7.90 double-boiled soup (U.P. up to $16.90) till 31 December — plus the chain's standing Early Bird discounts of 15–35% off if you eat outside peak hours. Prices are subject to 10% service charge and prevailing GST, and every offer is while stocks last.
