Running alongside the catalogue is a DBS/POSB offer that takes $3 off eggs and $3 off rice every Saturday, from 18 July to 29 August 2026. Because it is Saturday-only, today is the last time it overlaps this 4 Days Special.
Read the conditions before you count on it — they are narrower than the headline:
- It applies only to Egg For You Fresh Eggs (30s) and Happy Family Fragrant Jasmine Rice (5kg). Another brand of eggs, or a different rice, will not trigger it.
- Payment must be made with a valid DBS/POSB credit or debit card.
- One redemption per item, per customer, per day — so both discounts on the same trip, up to $6, but once each.
- Not valid with other promotions, discounts, vouchers or CDC vouchers.
- At self-checkout kiosks, approach staff for assistance before payment.
- While stocks last.
The fine print that applies to everything
The poster carries one blanket line under the promotion period: "Limited to 3 per product per customer per transaction, unless otherwise stated! While stocks last! No traders allowed!" So the Buy-1-Free-1 lines are not an unlimited stock-up, and a wiped-out shelf on Sunday afternoon is the expected outcome rather than a surprise.
One more timing trap: Sheng Siong's standing concessions are weekday offers. The 4% Seniors Special Discount runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays for Singaporeans and PRs aged 60 and above, and the 4% CHAS Special Discount runs Thursdays for CHAS Blue and Fridays for CHAS Orange — both valid till 31 December 2026, and both on days this sale has already used up. Across the final weekend the only stack left is a card rebate: 6% on the BOC Sheng Siong card, 5% on POSB Everyday, 5% on the Citi SMRT Platinum Visa (terms vary by bank).
